So I realised I didn't even share my timeline. I'm just asking questions upon questions abeg make Una no vex. It's anxiousness.
2nd time applicant with spouse. Submitted June 10th Biometrics updated as per 2nd time applying Medicals updated on July 16th PPR August 11th
I might be too brief in explaining my timeline, I'm open to questions.
Please help me too, they are requesting for biometrics fee again? Is that how it usually is after ppr? Will I pay again?

Thanks so much Ketima. Resumption is actually September 2022, but then the company I work for here in Nigeria decided to increase our salaries and not just that, they want to start paying us in US Dollars. So I was like let me wait small and collect to get more funds to sustain myself in canada for a while till I get a job. I then decided to resume January intake 2023 instead. Just like you advised, when I get to Canada, I would extend it Thanks so much Ketima: Hello Dorenke1,
Deferring won't invalidate your Visa. All you need do is update IRCC. How long do you intend to defer your admission?
But note it that when you get to your first POE, due your deferral, IRCC may not give you study permit beyond the expiration of your counterfoil. If that's the case and your course extends beyond the counterfoil/study permit date, you will need to apply for study permit extension, 150days before the expiration of your permit. |

Oh! Thank God o... Thanks so much Makano makano: Hello Deronke
Yes, its possible and it doesn't have any negative effect on your Visa..
Just that your study permit wont be beyond the validity of your Visa stamp on your Passport.. In this case, if the end date of your your deferred date is beyond your study permit validity, you will have to apply for a study permit extension in Canada.
Peace |

Hi guys, please I need answers.
Is it possible to defer after getting ppr?
If yes, what's the effect on the visa? Hope ircc won't have a problem with that? |

This is a baseless accusation. Legally if she really wants to take it up, she can sue you for defamation of character. Have she scammed you? Or anyone on this platform She posted that and later deleted it has nothing to do with you. It's her account and doesn't owe you any explanation. She can decide to help out with admissions. It's her choice. Since she didn't scam you neither do you have proof of her scamming anyone then rest. EagleEye4040: @Justwise, see this lie here
What make me call you a scammer:
1. You came here claiming you need help to help your husband. Abi? Fine
2. On her Signature and profile. She put " Need to migrate abroad? Contact me. www.Immigrate****.com
Somebody that says is an agent on her profile and asking people to contact her. How come you are looking for help for your husband again biko?
3. She then post I will process free admission but not visa
Na the normal package. Free admission, but pay for Visa. Na the scope be that
4. She's posting here for the first time.
5. When I noticed this, I challenged her
What did she do?
................................
She quickly deleted everything relating to agent from her profile. And started forming innocent
This scammer @Nezzel joined this thread since yesterday and there is not even one question about her so called husband application. Why? Because it's all lies She's not here for any husband
A word is enough for a wise. Anyone wey wan fall for your cheap scam make them fall.
Your intention no pure. And you yourself no your plan is to dupe guys here |

Oh! When did you apply? johnstan: You're on the right track is what i'ld say.
This is the only update on mine since I applied, though I have done everything expected.
If your biometrics have been updated, your eligibility review started then you're in line to testify.
It will end in praises |

Toceen2022: No, don't try it. You can't have same application running concurrently, unless you withdraw before having the other. The fact is, It's not about New Portal or GC Key that determine how fast you'll receive a final decision. How about medicals? Should I re-do it maybe they'll remember my application? |

Hi Fam, I applied through the new portal since June 10th and no update yet.
I'm thinking of applying again through Gckey, hope no problem with that? Maybe they'll respond to the Gckey
Or should I re-do my upfront medicals maybe they'll remember my application |
