Entry Level: 50-75k...With additional qualifications from the likes of Orange or Ozone Academy(Media Ad Schools) beforehand 75-120k will be possible with good negotiation. Though anyone can be a graphic designer those who studied Creative Art,Industrial Design,Architecture or Computer Science/Engineering are usually considered much more easily. Dude,I've respect for other brands besides wacom like ugee,huion & the likes. But if you want to go there in terms of what is really far better then none matches wacom in terms of sensitivity,result & compatibility with most Autodesk & Adobe apps. As a professional close to retail tab business in Lagos other brands like ugee & huion stay longer in the store because the demand is higher for wacom & sells out in less than a month on arrival. I know lots of artists who switched from ugee+huion back to wacom. I even hear someone is in talks with the official wacom/adobe distributor for Africa to become an official reseller in Nigeria. There are more apps involved than what you have but you will evolve along the way. Camtasia is great for screencasts of your pc screen,doing narrations & quick video editing with effect. There are different ways of achieving skin tone Here is basic work flow in steps below: *Double click on the default background layer with a padlock icon to turn it to a layer give it a name *Create a new layer for your pencil sketch & a separate layer for inks(that's you if you drew it with a tab like wacom,ugee and huion) * Pick the magic wand tool(W) to select the areas of the sketch for skin like the face,hands etc (this method applies to other parts of the character sketch) *Using the colour tabs foreground and background use it lay down flat colours which you place on another layer *Create a new layer for shadows(using the burn tool)and separate layer for highlights(using the dodge tool) @50-75% exposure make sure deselect "protect tones" *The smudge tool & liquify tool also comes in handy for a much more blended brush look *For extra realism you can add a light source *Other tools that can be used such as the gradient tool with blending modes such brightness and contrast etc... choicetheblogger: 2 Likes 1 Share |

The latest version of Illustrator is CC. It depends on your pc though if it's strong enough to handle it. As an aspiring Graphic Designer you need the Adobe Design Premium Suite from CS3 upwards or if you plan to go into Video Editing from the Master Collection CS3. Sorry about losing your hard disk but word of advice get the following compulsorily onto your pc. * Avast Antivirus (www.avast.com) *USB Disk Security (www.zbshareware.com) *SMADAV (www.smadav.net) Then a pc not verified to be clean of viruses you should never plug your hard disk there & it's meant to be a backup hard disk.
