Most trading errors arise from emotional mistakes:

-Greed trades too big
-Fear exits winners fast
-Hope holds losing trades too long

ff @SJosephBurns

Personally, cutting losing trades and honouring stop losses is tough but a necessary step !

Thanks, I already had Eternal among my stocks which was bought higher than that prx. What do I do. Pls this persistent DD advice, let one explain it to me in clear term. Didn't understand it at all
DD ADVICE = DUE DILIGENCE ADVICE = YOU ARE THE CAPTAIN OF YOUR CAPITAL = ACCEPT INVESTED CASH AS LOST MONEY... grin grin grin = Prepare to lose 100% of invested cash without pointing fingers... grin grin grin.

on a serious note:
- integrity of board members
- outstanding shares
- p/e ratio - ( at times low p/e should actually be interpreted as the remaining years left for a stock to get stuck @ car park or a company to go bankrupt... grin grin grin skye bank in mind then)
- dividend history
- outlook for the sector
- your loss appetite
- level of indebtedness
- financial record for last five year & last quaters ( Qtr 3 in mind)
- etc etc etc..... grin grin grin grin

i still dey study fcmb.....i want to play JIJO just for once then accumulate again at a lesser price.....but the stock dey do strong head too much.....one of my brokers told me its going the way of fbn.......destination is straight to 1.50 before retracing.

i may offload 1/5 of my holdings when it gets to 1.20 just for trial.
@Loco, by APRIL Next year, you will be wishing you had held ALL your FCMB units till then, after taking a look at TRANSACTION FEES etc etc.
Candidly, An institution like FCMB at anything less than N1.5 should be VALUED as a gift from GOD, knowing we are in a VERY DEEP RECESSION now.
The madness will kick in after FCMB gets to N1.5 not likely this year but not impossible as well. I believe you bought at N1.00 - N1.04 (GRAVE ROBBER'S PRICES).

-ALWAYS PLAN EACH TRADE AND ALWAYS TRADE THAT PLAN.
-BE HAPPY WHEN PEOPLE THAT BUY FROM YOU ALSO MAKE PROFIT - THAT IS WHAT MAKES THE MARKET KICK.
-OVER REACTING TO BEAT THE MARKET MAY BE YOUR WORST MOVE.
-REMEMBER TO SMILE WHEN OTHERS BEAT YOU TO YOUR GAME.... grin grin grin.

My people in Morgan, here is a reply from Morgan when I sent mail today asking them of the possibility of their tomorrow

Thank you for your mail.

We regret to inform you that the trading platform is not back up yet.

We apologise for any inconvenience this might cause you.
When MORGAN IS BACK maybe:

- more people will punish bad results dragging their share prices much lower.
- More people will rebalance and reward good results, thus creating a mini bull on such COYS.
- some angry ones will exit the market entirely to avoid a repeat.
- If I have a stock with pretty bad results, I would probably exit latest tomorrow to avoid 'THE MORGAN RUSH' - TMR which is inevitable.
- Expect a number of FULL OFFERS immediately MC unlocks that door. Some prices are holding now despite TERRIBLE results due to the MC imbroglio.
- If MC was not blocked, stocks like DIAMOND would have tested N0.86 by now.

I feel so undecided about this MC issue...IT IS WELL, WHO KNOWS? ONLY GOD...IT WILL BE WELL

To be continued by Fxuser..... grin grin grin

Nigeria issues treasury bills to raise cash to fund the budget deficit, manage banking system liquidity and curb rising inflation.
