AIICO did not only made profit.
With 20kobo earnings per share compared to 11kobo same time last year on a 70kobo SP as at today's market closing.

On top of that still having cash and cash equivalent of over 8billion naira!!!

That is an outstanding result given the current economic headwinds.

Fundamentals with patience is much better than any jijo. Learn from Buffet to avoid heart attack and BP. In NSE think more like a farmer.

Look, Skye as a going bank is okay.......must be okay.
The CBN will see to that, more so as a systemic important bank.
But you cannot say so of the shareholders.
Skye has fallen into the hand of a rescue squad, and the process of recapitalizing it in this low mkt will delete present shareholders, sure as night follows day.
It is unity bank all over again, sorry.

Refinery biz is a thin margin biz. Add the Nigeria uncertainty and semi-deregulated/ govt patronage of doing things, best to stay away from it. Ordinary JV is a headache for IOC's.

On the other hand, Dangote has very very good govt patronage, tax breaks, unlimited capital and political influence on a massive level to sway policies and bills to ensure when he fills the gap. He will dominate it like cement.
