Agbalowomeri: Sorry bro I have no idea about those two coys I just don't like them because of those funny biological assets stuffs Must he hold any of the two? You, CP and OGG etc etc etc has been giving very insightful ideas of where to go swimming. If a first time swimmer insist to abandon a swimming pool and chose to learn how to swim in an ocean, we can only wish him well.... After all, God has his special plan of taking care of the birds of the air that do not farm! Is it not enough coincidence that PALM OIL is looking like BLOOD? These two stock are not bad, but are there better options? PLENTY! |

Some banking stocks are presenting a better DY, they will rise faster and close the gap before the movement becomes more uniform, after that, the full bull will emerge where no one will remember the DY again..... |

onegentleguy: UPDC on full offer.
People were warned about getting caught in the euphoria of its rise in price. ...there were several analysis here on which is a better pick btw the 2 of UPDC and UACN in view of the proposed unbundling.
Though I sincerely dont wish for that, but I wont pity anyone that gets caught in the web(updc in view)

musty00: Warming up for bulls! Stock prices are gradually edging up as they did in 2017 before the main bull came in January 2018
The table below shows how some stocks performed during the 3 week bull in January 2018 (from last trading day in 2017 to the highs they attained before the bull wound up). These are closing prices.
Observations -Top performers are mostly Tier 2 banks (FCMB topping the list). -Fidelity had outrun FCMB after H1 2017, but FCMB tried to catch up, hence the huge delivery by FCMB. Fidelity started at 2.46, FCMB at 1.48. This year, dem dey hold each other for shirt dey waka. Watching these two closely, if one lags behind substantially, it might be the one that will outperform eventually. -Access and UBA didn’t have much strength to move during that bull, they were already trading high at 10.30 and 10.45 respectively, compared to their respective closing prices of today at 7.35 and 6.35. These two have good uptrend potentials. They will deliver this time around when the main bull arrives. -Same for Guaranty and Zenith, 40.75 and 25.64 respectively, compared to their closing price today at 28.50 and 19.10. Opportunities!
Many stocks are still very cheap right now. We’re not likely to see those lows witnessed before H1 results again this year……..like Zenith at 16.
Just observing….. Thanks so much. I was actually arranging time to do this for my JIJO analysis. |

mendes911: Bro,
What has really changed the past week that warrants all these expected bull? Are the FPI's back?
In the absence of the FPI's, I expect the market to still tank but that wouldn't stop me from looking for my occasional 10% - 15% till the market is ripe. This has been my position since April/May.
I have been wrong severally and I hope am not wrong this time around. I still believe UBA will come down to around #5 this year. The time left for next dividend payment has changed ( reduced drastically) !!! Prices have dropped massively! EPS has improved significantly! Never lose focus of time left to reap gains when looking at heavily discounted/under-priced assets, you may be cheating your model.... Time to buy is here! |

Chibuking81: UBA stand a chance of recording a higher final year EPs than Access bank. Access came up to 1.90 diluted eps with help of q1 eps of 1.37 which did not include newly added outstanding share of former Diamond bank. In q1 Access recorded 1.37 EPs and q2 1.90 an increase of 53 kobo, while UBA has 82 kobo in q1 2019 and 1.62 in q2 an increase of 80 kobo. I disagree with you, but you said 'stand a better chance', this has given you an escape route... Wigwe will not allow UBA to spoil his future fund raising plans..... |

currentprice: chibuking not far from true. even 32.2B outstanding share was used to calculate eps instead of 35.5B
if they use 35.5B outstanding,,, eps will be 1.75 instead of 1.93.
I prefer UBA to Access. I repeat, I prefer UBA to Access. I will send you a PM to avoid derailing this thread. I don't like Tony's companies, but I prefer UBA to Access. NB: I don't have any of the two up to 50units... |

currentprice: The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Port Harcourt Zonal office, has recovered N1 billion from suspected Ponzi scheme fraudsters in the zone.
The head of the zonal office, Abdulrasheed Bawa, who disclosed this at a media briefing in Port Harcourt yesterday, said the commission recovered the said amount out of N2 billion the suspects collected from their victims.
He said men of the commission, after surveillance activities, arrested the suspects who, he said, promised their victims 10% monthly returns and payment of the principal after six months.
He said the suspects convinced their victims that they were into foreign exchange and crypto currency trading. Bawa also stated that the zone, in the last eight months, recorded 149 convictions, made N268,934,375.75, $2,012,568.00, and £15,000 recoveries while 162 cases are still pending in court

Anyway, that won't be necessary, as I am not interested in proving anything. I only wanted to make a point, which I am sure he(and others that indulge in needless destructive criticism) understands.
