Mpeace: Oil 79.22. and still falling. Trump afraid of firmly confronting Saudi over Khashoggi. If he did, he would have sent oil above 150, not just losing the arms deals. I now fully understand how this world works. I can never bet on anything. Human rights is a key for unlocking very personal interests by the US Govt. |

Godlylifeoneart: Many people have raised a red flag on wapco I equally posted a comment on red flag signals. WAPCO n Oando fit into those companies that expand aggressively without having the means. Every year, dz good for nothing company will be racing preferential shares, bonds commercial papers. All in the name of expansion. Dangote actually played a smart one on this company by taken makanju and some of their technocrats. Since makanju left, dz company has never be d same. A company that dangote met in business could no longer rival ccnn. What a pity? Wapco is sinking in debts. Too late to catch up.... Wapco heading southwards @ km N10 to 15 Are there armed robbers @ Km N10 to 15? I will send you with FSARS to clear the way. This company is only worth N3.5 - N5.0 You don't need all those complex valuation formulae. Just ask yourself, after I buy the shares, will they stop asking me to pay interest (rights issues) on the purchased units? |

Chibuking81: Soon it will go down to #1, they intentionally pump it to #4, in order to divide it into two, by giving 1 for 1 bonus. Cutix always like their stock price to hover around #2, both during the bull and bear. It will go down to #1 even below, watch and see. Notwithstanding they always maintain good result. Why pour sand for other people's gari? . Though I believe the price will moderate once the bonus shares become tradeable. |

onegentleguy: The real issue is with the areas where more of these cost (debt) has been aligned to. In principle, an increasing debt even above acceptable threshold is NOT bad. ...as long as it's been properly utilized. There has to to be a workable structure in place to neutralize any impact from the cost of funding debt. Japan has the world's highest debt to GDP ratio, but is about the most SOLVENT and financially effective country/economy in the world !! ...that's because they have a workable structure in place !! Nigeria needs to as a matter of urgency become more proactive in aligning the core of these debts with funding production, infrastructural spend (capex) and key drivable sectors of the economy. ...this is the only way to have a fiscal policy in place that can reflect positively in the larger economy. This is the only way to get our economy working again !!
The problem is with the dumb leaders and economic managers/advisers we have in place today.
May God continue to be with us !! The Government here borrow to embezzle... They already calculate the sharing formula before getting the cash. Nothing changes. Let a new Government come to power and Buhari will get stroke when what was looted during his time is uncovered. EFCC keep saying we recovered so and so from so and so. Why then borrow a fraction of what you have been recovering Is it an economic rule that you must borrow money? You recover huge amount from Abacha, you share to faceless Nigerians, then go borrowing less than what you recovered Who is fooling who? One day, breeze must blow and fowl's asset will go on display |

onegentleguy: Apparently, someone is either not been honest or do not have a practical understanding of what it means to be in a debt crisis.
U can NOT lay claim to be managing well ur debt burden, when ur current debt to GDP ratio, and worse still ur debt to REVENUE has been worsening with no visible positive impact on the real sector of the economy !! U can NOT claim to have a working debt profile when a greater % (of over 40%) of ur total debt burden is been utilized with funding CONSUMPTION !! U can NOT assume that ur debt burden is well managed when less than 20% of ur total debt spend on consumption has gone to PRODUCTION, less on key infrastructure spend and even much less on core drivable sectors of the economy. (like education).
This guys are high on something. Someone should pls remind them that the current so-called stable fiscal policy stance has NOT managed to reflect on the larger economy. They are also not seen the current u-turn on the ease of the country's inflation. Someone, somewhere, really to needs to start viewing things as broad as they are wide.
It is well !! Borrow Lai Mohammed's glasses... |

swilo: "Director-General of Nigeria’s Debt Management Office (DMO), Ms Patience Oniha, has allayed fears of some observers that the country was already in a debt crisis.
However, the debt office boss admitted that the nation was not generating enough revenue to fund some critical operations, but stressed that Nigeria was still capable of servicing her debts.
Ms Oniha, in a chat with newsmen on the sidelines of the International Monetary Fund and World Bank Group summit in Indonesia, noted that efforts were being done to avert a debt crisis in the Africa’s largest economy."
Very political combo.. Running Nigeria like it is a secondary school chemistry laboratory.. They are always DOING and never getting things DONE. Will these people ever run their private affairs like they run Nigeria? NO! REASON: NO CONSEQUENCES BUT GAIN TO THEIR POCKETS. Nigeria is indeed a farm yard for these people. |

Guk: Yes!! He did badly in FRSC. He could not deliver a Driver's license project even though it was a monopoly. 2ndly, he failed in producing License plates on time until Lagos State govt came to his rescue. If you do not know, LASG set up a License plate producing factory and were printing license plates within 24 hours.
Nigerians should try and use facts to sell prospective leaders and not sentiments. That us why we are here today.....a brutalized nation 5M LIKES FOR YOU. You are a blessing to your generation. God will bless your life. He will make life a living hell. Just seeing this guy around Atiku made me sick. His agenda in FRSC was to EXPLOIT Nigerians, thank God he was stopped. He has nothing to offer. He wanted to make owing a plate number more difficult than owing a car due to his unbridled geed. |
