pocohantas: It is on Nairaland I got to find out that every child looks like the father in face and actions. As in, if you born 5, all of them would be carbon copy of the man. None would take looks from the wife's gene pool (her, her dad, her mother, even great grand aunty). Everybody would look like the mannnnn! All of you guys on NL, none of your siblings look like your mum.
Please tell him to do DNA. If he cannot afford it, support him financially. We need more DNA crusaders like you before paternity scam reaches an all-time high. He may be a graduate in one of our tertiary institution |

lovediehatelive: Well no one controls how a child looks like, but an element should be there at least one from each parent.
No one is talking about the second son or this new born, but the first because they have convinceable elements of resemblance with the dad.
Why would the first one be completely different?
If I were to speculate further I would say she had a last goodbye "farewell" sex with her ex, but that would be too bold an accusation for someone I don't know before. Are you this idle? If you are idle, carry rake, broom and sweep your street to keep your mind and hands busy. Thank you in advance |

Silentgroper: Do you not stay abroad??
It's hard to see anyone use an android anywhere there... Seriously? I and host of others used android. Never a fan of iPhone and don't really care about the phone one bit. Before, it was made in china. Now this 17 is made in India. Nothing in iphone is America except the brand name, apple. As india and America are fighting subtle trade war, maybe, the next one will be made in Nigeria |

Full scale naija mentality of money misss road. He thinks he can continue making money forever.
He lives to prove he can make it. A condition that has made many Nigerians indebted to their consciousness forever cos of low self esteem.
Look at those hailing him.
Do they look like serious people?
They will continue to bow to politicians forever.

Mariangeles: If it's about taste, I can definitely eat Indian foods, if they're hygienically made/served.
When I stated "have something in common", I meant hygiene. They both are fond of touching already cooked foods. Fair enough. As per street food, I agree. |

JovialJune: Lol don't mind them jare, only those that grew up in the north will understand the value health wise, northern food are the best and very much medicinal, I really miss gurasa and garau garau. I was asking myself one day why core northerners are never obese with protruding tummy like those in the south. Their food are actually not complex. The most important thing I take from the north is how they value drinking tea. I mean real tea, not our mix and co. If there is anything you cannot take away from my family, its their love for tea drinking. Fast forward, here I am joining the culture cos of the medicinal values of milk. They also do not eat much. Their portion size is not like the south. I love those people. They are so real. Lack of misrepresentation and fanatism made others see them differently. |

Mariangeles: I know more than enough, trust me. Especially their roadside foods.
I research a lot about foods, and how they're made. I have lived with both. Ate both. They are miles away. I even make their food( both). Northern foods cos of my family and Indian cos of colleagues and curiosity. I love Indian food more. And some of their cuisines somehow resemble southern naija cuisines but with a twist. If you eat northern foods made by ...., you know what I mean, you will also like their food. Roadside foods is not what I mean here. Hope you get my drift. |

Mariangeles: Let's just say northerners and Indians have something in common. 😬
Don't get me started on their serving certain dishes with seasoning cubes. Then, there certainly won't be depth of flavour. You know little about Indian cuisines. Very little |

Health › Re: I Trek Alot, Should I Be Worried For My Old Age Periods..? by descarado: 1:50pm On Sep 05, 2025 |
Tochex101: Nwunye anyi......... I have noticed you are passionate about balanced and healthy living. Can you help with some resources to watch/follow to learn more..? I too want to live a healthy, balanced life and hope to teach those around me. Hmm. Happy people are reading. You can watch podcasts. Cardiovascular diseases and lifestyle. Mental health diseases and lifestyles IQ and life expectancy and our lifestyle choices, its effect on the person and the community as a whole and the relationship between what we eat and IQ, life expectancy, development, greed and loosely esteem. I love cooking channel so I watch village cooking across south east Asia. I compare what they eat with what we eat, their IQ level, life expectancy and self sufficiency eg, some grandparents in the villages know what balanced meals are yet they did not go to school. They are still working like farming and not depending on maids and their kids to pro ide for them. This keeps them off sicknesses and alive for ages. I look at what they eat and drink, compare that to what we eat etc. You will find your way around if you are keen to alter your lifestyle and that of those around you. Hospitals are not places we should be going to because most of the things that send us there are things we can easily prevent ourselves. Also, the so called western food we embraced are not helping at all. We can modify them eg cake can be modified. I watch drunken Lee on youtube . That is a typical Chinese family in the rural area. They are considered poor in chinese society but are the upper middle class of naija. Watch what they eat. From every meal, see the pattern and how balanced they are. When they start eating, what they normally start with and how they end. The same with Japanese families. Compare that with what we eat and what we prioritise as main food. Check out Japanese cuisines especially okinawa, Chinese cuisines and even Thailand. Korean cuisines are very complicated. You will not understand them. We have a lot in common with China as most of their food stuffs we have them but we have decided to go western. Well done and I'm glad you want to prioritise your health. Has nothing to do with money but mentality and feeling we should eat this or that. An average nigerian will chose pizza without looking back than eat green pumpkin and some lobster or seafood. |
