Before I go - let's get the thread back to where it should be.

Update from twitter:

Temmy007 @OfficialTemmy · 2h 2 hours ago

- I registered Liya today in nursery for this session , & asked them to reserve the space because i know my baby is coming back.. That's faith

- The lies about it being a legal matter is ridiculous. I dont want to post the police report online stating that she was abducted by her...
Back to the topic at hand. ....temmy should not keep quiet on this abduction issue. I follow her on IG and she hasn't been saying anything.

My Country People, its time to break the news.
Charles Jr. is here with us, we welcomed my son yesterday 7pm GMT+1
He is 3kg, 700gram. My wife had a C.Section, guess the baby was too big for her.

Thank God both my wife and baby are sound.

I am now a father and a very proud and happy one.
You will never know how much your parent loves you
until you get your own child.

One interesting this is that, he actually shares same birthday with my younger sister.

Thanks to everyone who have been supporting here.
Remain blessed people!! cheesy
Congrats....awww God bless the little one.

Even though it's not my child my heart is heavy for temmy. When I found out she had a child when I first met her I was shocked because I couldn't believe how she managed to take care of a child and still go to uni at such a young age but she did. I don't want to say too much because I dont want to reveal myself but I am going to make sure to contact every newspaper I can think of and hope to God they can help spread it. If they can report news on how a child was refused to join a school because he travelled to Sierra Leaone, they should be able to report this.
A million thanks to you for saying this. From her tweets you can sense that she is not your average 20 something year old. She oozes of maturity and strength. For her to have even let the grand mother stay in a house that her father pays rent for, so she could bond with her grand daughter speaks volume.

I believe she has more dexterity than most of the uncultured and unsocialised animals on this thread who cannot argue based on logic but tribalism.

So in your own mind and analysis, you believe every word she wrote online. How sure are you he even ask her to commit abortion? Why would a granny want her to commit abortion, and still want the baby afterwards.

In this situation, you don't have to judge until you hear from both parties. All I know, the baby is now in a safe place! All Ofe_manu hoes should hug transformer. In fact, I can offer one for you.
I believe her story...lets say my instinct plus I have been in her shoes. That is the only reason why she would have a child and be single mother raising her daughter alone with the help of her father. The bottom line is that the guy rejected the pregnancy otherwise we won't have this wonderful kidnapping situation on our hands.

Typical Yoruba women; breaking up Igbo family since 1914. They will come as holy, then show their true color when they get once they need.

Just look at how ofe_manu girl broke apart P-Square family; putting asunder between mother and son, and between brothers.

The hoe called Temmy is Nigerian, why not her come to Nigeria and take care of the case, instead of chasing wild goose online.
Lazy people always looking for who to milk dry.

In most Igbo customary law, the kid belong to the man, except he chooses not to marry the girl. However, majority of kids who grew with their mothers tend to go back to reconcile with their father's relative when they've grown.
Tribalistic fool....so why didn't Izu marry her when she got pregnant. That would have been the honorary thing to do, instead of asking her to have an abortion so that he can be free to lick mummy's azzz. Oponu!! I don't blame you, you are chatting through your dung hole.
FamilyRe: UK-based Nigerian Mother Pleas For Help For Kidnapped Child by desiree(f): 9:15pm On Oct 09, 2014
Izu's family will try to tarnish the girl's reputation by all means. So now she is a party animal, I read somewhere else that she is mentally unstable. Why hasn't she killed liya or got social services involved in her case for 2 years that she was the sole care provider for this baby?

The grand mother's action is worse than that of an illiterate market woman. If she was educated she will know the implications of what she did.The UK government will launch an international man hunt for her and she will face the consequences.
HealthRe: Pregnancy Are You Pregnant Or Going Through A High Risk Pregnancy,,lets Talk by desiree(f): 9:04pm On Oct 09, 2014
bossladyMo:
Thanks for responding. My doctor hasn't suggested it yet...but you know Naija hospitals just go straight for the pitocin drip induction, without exploring other options like the membrane sweep etc.

So I just wanted to know if it is done in Naija, so I can ask for it at my next doctor's appointment...if I haven't put to bed by then.
From what I heard, sweeping of the membrane does not automatically kick start labour. Some women still have to wait days or week for active labour after their membrane was swept. Like the other mamas suggested, EPO combined with pineapple core and lots of walking might help kick start labour. All the best.

bossladyMo:
No one has answered my question on how the induction of labour goes exactly *sadface*

Also, has anyone experienced a membrane sweep before? Are Naija doctors open to that?
I had an induction before although not in Nigeria. It is a very simple process. My membrane was swept....basically the midwife will insert her fingers in you and move it around, this was a little uncomfortable but not painful. And was placed on drips to speed labour up, a few hours later the broke my water by insert a finger(again it was uncomfortable).

If it was suggested to you, go for it. Nothing to be worried about.
HealthRe: Please I Need Explanation On My Wife's Uterus by desiree(f): 7:30pm On Oct 08, 2014
5cm dilation is almost halfway there. I don't know why some hospitals do this to their patients. I was only 1cm when my hospital admitted me. Tell your wife to go back there and refuse to leave until they give her a bed. Anything can go wrong especially if you live a long distance from the hospital.

They should admit her and start monitoring the baby's heart beat for signs of distress or wait for labour to progress.

EducationRe: Why Is The English Language Skill Of Nigerian Graduate So Appalling? by desiree(f): 7:45pm On Jun 24, 2009
Instead of being defensive, we should all look at the underlining message. What he is saying is actually true. Why would you make spelling mistakes on your resume??
EducationRe: Why Is The English Language Skill Of Nigerian Graduate So Appalling? by desiree(f): 7:33pm On Jun 24, 2009
@ Topic

The reason is because it has become very easy for Nigerian graduates to "pay" for their degrees one way or the other. Even if they come with a well prepared resume, you still need to be weary of the kind of blunders they make on the job.
EventsRe: Ladies: Can You Sponsor Your Wedding? by desiree(f): 7:46pm On Jun 23, 2009
Like one of my dad's numerous saying: if a man does not have a job and cannot pay for his own wedding, he has no business getting married. The bride's family should only have to pay for the engagement dues.

I attended a wedding recently where everything was paid for by the bride's family. They got the couple an apartment, got the groom a car and a job in the family company.

Now is that a free loader or what?

The dude is sowing his wild oats jare, grin how would you know if there is a better girl out there if you only date one girl and then marry her. The good thing is that you have found the one you love and obviously loves you back.

PS
Why does our opinion count anyway?? we don't even know these girls, you are in a better position to decide who you want to spend the rest of you life with.
FashionRe: What Would You Do If You Had A Breakout Of Rash/ Pimples Days Before Your Wedding? by desiree(f): 2:08am On Jun 23, 2009
Last resort, I'd say call off the wedding, it is the same as the bride falling violently ill a day before the wedding and had been admitted in a hospital.
i have this girl i met last year June but i was in a relationship then but we still continued after i had a problem with my ex we now became stronger after like 3mths i started having an affair with a girl in my office which now escalated into a very serious one and they both now know dat i am seeing someone else dat i should choose between them i must confess i love the girl in my office more than the first girl but the first girl has been there for me and i don't know what to do cos she is really feeling betrayed already but i cant marry her because of sentiments please advise.
Clarify this, Is the girl you met last year June the same girl from your office?? If yes, then marry the one you love, though love is not enough factor for a strong long lasting marriage, at least you can deal with problems better if you love her.

There is nothing like proper or improper Naija, as long as he has naija blood running in his veins then he is TOTALLY NIGERIAN

Kele was born in Nigeria, SO, what about that?
FamilyRe: Must I Marry Her Because Of Pregnancy? by desiree(f): 3:45pm On Feb 09, 2007
You have to marry her or at least start making plans to let her realize that you intend to. No woman would like to left in that state and the man still recovering "psychologically" , what do you think she is going through herself?? if you love her and your kids, then marry her!!!

Justin Fashanu committed suicide because of this issue,it is much easier for people to come out nowadays
True, it is better and more consequential to come out than to commit suicide. Justin’s case was just another sad example of absentee father and a black boy fostered by white folks.

FashionRe: Any Metro-sexual Men Out There? by desiree(f): 3:10pm On Feb 09, 2007
Well-groomed and metro sexual are two different concepts, I like my men well groomed, men should take care of themselves and they don't need to break the bank balance to do this. Every thing a guy needs to look after himself shouldn't cost more than £100(than includes a nice bottle of after-shave), moisturizer, lip-balm, hand-cream etc. On the other hand, a metro sexual man will go to the extreme with designer brand products, fashion labels, light cosmetic surgery and dental surgery just to make a statement.

I had an ex that spends money every month on facials, manicure and pedicure, he even went as far has getting his teeth whitened, that doesn’t include the countless number of grooming products he uses, that dude had more products than i do!!! shocked shocked And I can assure that he definitely isn't gay, he is as straight as an arrow.Aside of his extreme grooming, he works 9-5 and still has time to work-out in the gym.

Why did he wait this long to come out-- I bet his naija father where ever he might be would be crying in silence.

I cannot help feeling sorry for him though, considering his background without a father figure, I've seen this case too often in the UK; boys that don't have any relation with black side, often raised by their white moms or foster parents/boy's boarding schools. huh huh
