alj harem: ah ah ah grin, but I am sure you can pick up some words in there.

This brings me to the to Gbedegi and toede (not sure of the spelling) who are actually yorubas in Niger state but have been nupe-ized. their language is very similar to Okun as well.
Okun is so much better, very intelligble to me as oppossed itsekiri. Here is an okun man singing in Okun, not much different from the regular Yoruba you hear on the streets of Lagos.

alj harem: Dude Itsekiri langauge is more readable than Ijebu or Ekiti dialect. Itsekiri are very close to yoruba the only reason they are given their separate identify is because they are a mixture of Ijebu and Bini. That we have to respect

Just as I told Andre to identify one, not only does language come into play but also history.
It better just be readable because i can't understand a word of what they speak! Likewise the Ekiti people or should I say all those Yorubas close to Bini.

Wily2wily: Naturally Ilajes are not Yoruba but if they Chose to be Yorubas that is good, Many Yorubas knew that Ilajes are not Yoruba Clan that is why they don't want to help Ilajes, they took all oil money from Ilaje Land, fed fat and allow Ilajes to die in poverty. Yorubas are waiting the day ocean will swallow Ilaje people so that they will take over the little Ilajes had. my heart goes to Ilaje people.
very kind of you, now SHOVE off!

Wily2wily: Ilajes are cool people but other Yorubas detest them because they are poor, they want Ilaje oil not Ilaje people
We heard you before. Maybe now, you wanna change the record?
PoliticsRe: Why Are Some Fellas Obsessed With The ILAJE People? by Desola(f): 6:17pm On Apr 26, 2012
Ilaje44: This is very true! And as I said, Nigeria has changed a looooooot from the time that guy wanted to turn me into suya erroneously believing I was the one that impregnated his daughter. Besides, there is a difference if a woman is marrying into a family. In Nigeria, the woman is the one that has to do the adjusting to the husband's culture most of the time. It is generally seen as a GAIN go get other peoples' women than you loose your women to the other people.
Well, my sister would not be their gain. I used to like urhobo people a lot too until the family of this stupid boy started nagging my sister to get pregnant before marriage, yet they call themselves christian. A very successful and not to add very beautiful and young 24 year old being forced to get pregnant? Dem dey kolo? Apparently, that shit is their tradition too.
PoliticsRe: Why Are Some Fellas Obsessed With The ILAJE People? by Desola(f): 6:10pm On Apr 26, 2012
ekt_bear: Desola, don't let some stuff on NL spoil your sister's personal life undecided
Nah, i see some truth in what ilaje mans said, really. I'm not so daft to just make my mind up based on a few lines, it is something that gives my sister a second thought as well. The sad thing is that she is too damn western in her outlook and doesn't know our culture and that of her boyfriend as she should.
PoliticsRe: Why Are Some Fellas Obsessed With The ILAJE People? by Desola(f): 5:59pm On Apr 26, 2012
Ilaje44: Urhobo are to Isoko as Ondo is to Ule-Oluji. They are quite similar in character and lingo. They can understand each other mutually. Things might have changed over the years, but they do not like to marry Yorubas.
Beautiful! I will drag my sister to the computer when next I see her so she can read this. It's a shame sha, as I liked the boy but something was always fishy.
PoliticsRe: Why Are Some Fellas Obsessed With The ILAJE People? by Desola(f): 5:51pm On Apr 26, 2012
Ilaje44: I had a lot of time yesterday and today. I can say I am alittle bit "addicted" to Nairaland. I am here even though I am invicible.

Nairalist was also a site I enjoyed so much. Unfortunately, Seun could not continue with that site. I must admit that I yanshed some girls in Akure with the help of Nairalist. It is a shame that the site is not being updated. Anyway, it is fun. I dont have problem mingling with younger people. I will continue to come around as time permit me.
Shame, you dey talk like this and you call yourself agbalagba. angry
PoliticsRe: Why Are Some Fellas Obsessed With The ILAJE People? by Desola(f): 5:49pm On Apr 26, 2012
Ilaje44: I am having fun o jare. If he insult Ilaje, Usoko will get it too. I happen to know them very well. I know their abominations too. They are generally good people, except they dont like marrying Yoruba people. One almost matcheted me with cutlass, because he thought I impregnated his daughter. Maybe things have changed sha over the years, because that incidence happened some twenty years ago.

Anyway, they can party a lot like Yoruba people. Ogogoro and pork flows freely.
really?? Is that the same for Urhobo peoples, their cousins?

Alxmyr: Is it the one granted by Channels TV?

But unfortunately, his responses were unfortunate.
Lastly, his response on his medical record is suggested he has something to hide.
Au contraire mon frere, medical records are the most sacred to a person and should not be disclosed to anyone. You cannot equate it to a birth certificate as the daft interviewer suggested. Birth details are publicly available unlike medical records. I think that his answer couldn't be more apt.

Please watch to be mermerized or miffed by this personality. Either way, you can't help but agree that he is indeed an enigma. Aregbesola might have been called many names but to me, he is a break from the norm and i've found a personal respect for the man.

Proudly Ooduite!

Fashola can only serve in a presidential capacity anything else would not do. He is too big for Nigeria anyway.

As much as i can't stand the okoros, i'm really romanticising the idea of Fash for president and chime for vice. Can you imagine these two men heading the country. Oh my! What a sight it would be to see them suited and speaking on tv. If dreams were horses sha. With Donald Duke as the Senate president.

is anyone still questioning why OBJ did away with NOI? I suppose we have a better understanding of why now.

So sad!
