TravelRe: General Australian student Visa Enquiries Part 2 by dessy8: 5:52pm On Aug 01, 2016
2nd option is the 12months fund option::Evidence of funds can include money deposits, financial institution or government loans, scholarships or sponsorships. This option allows you to show bank deposits, sponsorships from anybody totaling....18,930 AUD, when u convert to naira it equals 4.8million.....I hope this analyses helps...
TravelRe: General Australian student Visa Enquiries Part 2 by dessy8: 5:46pm On Aug 01, 2016
This proof of funds thing is pretty straightforward nawww.....There are two options..Annual income option::The annual income option requires a student to provide evidence of personal annual income of at least AUD 60,000. For students accompanied by family members, the requirement is at least AUD 70,000. The income demonstrated must be the personal income of your spouse (who is not coming with you) or parents. Where both of your parents are working, their combined income can be considered for this requirement. Evidence must be in the form of official government documents such as tax assessments. Evidence in the form of bank statements or information directly from an employer is not acceptable.

2nd Option::Living costs

From 1 July 2016, the 12 month living cost is:

student or guardian - AUD 19,830
partner or spouse - AUD 6,940
child - AUD 2,970....

What this means is that you choose one of the options, not both...If you cant use option 1..you use option 2.....

Thanks for this advice/note of warning...can we please communicate via email? i sent you a request to ur email, you have to reply me first before we can exchange mails...thanks....
staggerlee:
I live in SA and a permanent resident permit holder, with an SA I.D' i was in the US last week for a conference when my south african colleague who is married to a Nigerian man pointed out this thread to me, and i was so ashamed to be a Nigerian. Some pieces of advise that i read here was alarming, someone said, people should marry a south african and get a visa to live in SA, why the heck will you marry just because of a visa.

The only reason to come to SA is to come and study or you have critical skill so you can impact SA's ailling economy positively. Study in any of the STEM courses. Dont just come here on any yeye visa and become illegal. We need to restore pride into our nation nigeria. Believe me, if you dont have critical skills now in SA, if u like marry Zumas daughter you cant get a valid permit, unless u have R5m to start a business so that you can get a business visa. Your visitor's visa cannot be converted to any kind of visa. We have a lot of Nigerians here that are loafing the streets of Jozi laundering our image, pls dont come and add to it.
TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 10 by dessy8: 5:02pm On Jun 06, 2016
Its 37,500 something....you do not need to provide any self addressed envelop...all your documents would be put inside a bag and sealed.....
opsyF:
Hello,
please for those who recently submitted their application via paper route, how much was the application fee?
Also did you address the envelope you kept all the documents you submitted in?

TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 10 by dessy8: 6:23pm On May 27, 2016
people will just sit down and be writing rubbish.......General sniper abeg no need to answer all this busy bodies wey dey talk nonsense as if they work at the canada high commission...you think its by power or by arranging plenty documents that will complicate your case.....
Team16:
Omo me tire for this your reasoning o. Y should you doubt someone who has his TRV already. Are you jealous or angry? Do you work with Vfs or Canadian embassy? Me tire o. Abi you want to snatch the Trv from him. Instead of you to say congrats and move on, you come dey criticise his already approved documents. Omo if you be VO many people for still dey naija here oh. My prayer is that your type will not touch or see my documents till my Trv land by then you can take Canadian embassy to court for giving me PR without TRV first.

2. New followers, pray to your God n submit the one and only true documents you have. Don't follow this our guy man (Cassie) to submit documents which when verified will put you in trouble, all in the name of satisfying Visa requirements as outlined by oga Cassie. Just believe in your God and pray. You don need to submit the whole documents in Nigeria b4 you get your Trv. Just be sharp n honest.

3. Talking about arrangee, where you there when the documents were arranged. I have problems with information without evidence. If you have evidence that it was arranged then I will go with you but if you don't i demand you apologize to GeneralSnipper for insulting him because that's an insult and if it's me I won't take it easy with you.

Abeg, egbon Cassie I get general number. If you want the Trv you can hala me so that you'll arrest him and take the Trv. From what you said that you read part 4,5,6 etc and have been following silently. I'm quite disappointed with your line of reasoning and come to conclude that it's either you don't understand what you read or you didn't read anything at all and as result made conclusions based on your own perspective. I smell bad belle. Oga general sniper congrats. I tap into your testimony. God please answer my prayers. Over and out.
TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 10 by dessy8: 6:16pm On May 27, 2016
just tot to correct something...Police report isnt compulsory for paper route.....infact nothing is compulsory...i submitted my application via paper route, and i didnt include police report,SOA,bank letter were photocopies..and the lady at the pre-submission desk told me evrything was in order after checking....the only thing she asked me to go correct was my family form that i filled with ink instead of filling online and printing out....
phrancisco:
Since dey only collect photocopies of all documents now (except bank statement and LOA) u are supposed to notarise the photocopies u are submitting( not compulsory thou ). Police report is compulsory for paper route now.
Cheers!!

why is nobody going to New brunswick community college here..?i
TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 10 by dessy8: 8:00am On May 23, 2016
there is no age limit for giving out undergraduate visa..like thesoj says..u have to tell a very good story in your SOP/LOE...i know someone who got a visa for UG and is in his 30's, but he never mentioned he already had a degree...in his sop he stated that hes been working with his dad since he finished sec school in 2001....I think the rule is, never mention u already have a degree if u are going for a second UG degree...and if ur above 30, apply to a 2year college, cos generally 2 year diplomas are for matured persons looking to go into a trade or new career, secondly its short...but u need to have a very rich and verifiable work experience to cover for the long educational gap...
penitential:
I also I tried applying to an undergraduate study in civil engineering to different schools in canada to obtain my B.ENG. I was specifically told by the admission officer of one of the schools I applied to he said and I quote "even if I give you admission, my people at the embassy will not give you visa. They will not see any reason why a graduate want to go and start over again. They will believe you want to go and never come back.they Will never give you visa. I will advise you go got PGD". After that, I was later told that undergraduate visa is usually given to age between 17 - 21 years of age. So my plan is to go for a post graduate diploma in my course which is two years program after which I applied for study visa with my post graduate admission letter. Once am in Canada, i will apply as a transfer student into the university for my B.ENG. it is easier to extend your study permit there than applying for a study permit with undergraduate admission letter after graduation. You can try Algonquin college in Ottawa for post graduate diploma.

@Marcus....u made a very fantastically big mistake...i guess u just came to this forum after ur denial..otherwise if u had been following this thread u wld have seen where the warning was sounded that if u are going for a diploma or first degree and u already have a BSc, never u mention it in ur application....infact throw away ur degree and apply with just ur SSCE......then look for what to fill in ur education gap.....but as it is now, u cant remedy the situation cos cic already have ur information with them.....
Marcus01:
Yes please. Do help me confirm. Thanks sir

TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 10 by dessy8: 10:48pm On May 06, 2016
You would have gone to correct it...the VO knows that such mistake can never happen unless you deliberately lied about your age to the immigration officer...because they know u are asked to cross check the information before they go ahead to lock it in...i had same issues with my pasport,,i had to go to Abuja to correct it...my brother,,honestly that one is another hell on its own....i was lucky cos i knew the ACG passport.....
Promisennadi:
absolutely it will have effect, but anyways on tbe positive side, hope it dont affect, if not go and correct it before anything else. not just for visa alone, to avoid contradiction

I beg to differ...how did you come about your information about age restrictions for diploma programs?are you a visa officer? there aint no such thing as that bro...
Haustraliah:
Refusal rate is higher on PGD when to compare with masters.
Pgd of any other diploma programs have age restrictions.
Masters program is the best and success rate is higher.
Wish you the best.

If you have a degree already, and you are applying for a 2year diploma, then be prepared to drop your Bsc blah blah blah when applying for your trv...never you mention it....just look for what to fill in the gaps in your education......and apply with just your Olevels...that was what a friend of mine did and he got his trv....and he is 33years old...
topacs:
Seriously u just go me thinking twice with dis advice, wat about hnd elect/elect wit IT experience apply for a 2 year diploma in computer system and networking....Plz kindly advice..Thanks.

TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 9 by dessy8: 9:21am On Mar 03, 2016
Dont ever pay your full tuition if the school doesnt ask you to.....it doesnty boost your chances for trv in anyway....your SOA and SOP(in some cases) does the main work....
Zim5050:
I don't think so.. I paid n I forgot to add it but I still got my TRV. Even with out SOP.
TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 9 by dessy8: 9:06am On Mar 03, 2016
It really doesnt matter if you state that you would like to work after your studies to gain experience..I know a guy who said something like that and he got his trv....Its quite a tricky one though..If your program has co-op placements and all that, i think you should leave the working in canada part out....
thesoj:
You are applying for a student visa, yet you are already talking about working there after your studies. This implies to the VO that you might not come back after your studies should you not be able to Canada any longer.
TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 9 by dessy8: 8:40am On Mar 01, 2016
