Qlife VI and IOM Ikeja are the only hospitals approved for Canada medical check. The probability of getting it done tomorrow is 10/100 if you don't have a medical request from IRCC and 50/50 if you have a request. Reason being, it's based on appointment. You have to book 1st. So you have a medical request from IRCC? Julian112: Good day FAM...please I need ur urgent help my beloved guru's .i need to know the list of hospitals for medicals in lagos and how possible it is for me to do it tomorrow..its really urgent fam |

It's not too late. Book for your biometrics on vsf website, pick a date and time that works best for you. You can have it done either in Lagos or Abuja vsf larryrichie: Good afternoon my people.
How many days do i have to do the biometric, i did'nt get a mail from them so i login to checked and i found out that i have been asked to go for biometric since on the third of the month, i hope there is no problem about this?? and again will there be any interview or just the biometric.

Mastersammy is actually right. jimogh111: I stand to be corrected please, but isn’t this information you are dishing out wrong? I have been made to understand and also read here from gurus in the past that once someone’s study permit application is already in process, applying for a new admission with another school and obtaining another Letter of Acceptance from another school will mean the person has to apply for a fresh and brand new Study Permit with IRCC

Changing your DLI if you’re outside Canada:If you change your DLI before coming to Canada and you don’t let us know, you won’t be allowed to board your flight. If your application is still in progressYou can tell us you changed your DLI by submitting a new letter of acceptance using the IRCC web form. If your application has been approved If your application for a study permit has been approved and you change your DLI, you must submit a new study permit application with a new letter of acceptance. You must also pay all the fees for the new application. https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/study-canada/change-schools.htmlSo, apply to a new school ASAP and upload your new LOA via Webform before your current application is approved. onyek82: Please I need advice, l applied to college of the North Atlantic and my acceptance letter came late so I managed to apply for Visa on the 13th July. D school resumed on the 7th September, I emailed the school to know if I could hook up online and I was reminded it wasn't online based, that I be given from now till on the 19th September to be in school or my school tuition will be refunded back to me. No option of deferral and my Visa application is in progress, please what should I do ? My 2nd application is waitlisted on Saskatchewan polytechnic, please advice ooo

My brother actually submitted my application online within Canada on 24th 8pm after paying for my application with his Credit card. I filled the whole forms but I had to log out around past 12am on 25th and gave him my gckey info to help me pay for my application and submit.I noticed that my application stated I submitted on 24th cos it was my brother in Canada that submitted it even though it was 25th in Nigeria. my question is will it be counted as application made from within Canada ? |

You are actually wrong. Online classes till 31st of December 2021 forms part of calculation for PGWP. You are reading the thing out of context. My school has confirmed with IRCC and that link is exactly what's contained in the email the school shared. Online classes till 31st of December, 2021 forms part of duration used for calculating PGWP, let's not confuse people because some take whatever they see here hook line and sinker. Enjay316: this is not a complete info. read from beginning. this was only applicable to those that applied between match 2020 to spring 2021. |

Congratulations Teni that is not Makanaki. May Canada favour you TennieYF: Long post alert!!! It could only have been God, it has ended in praise. My journey started 2019 July during my NYSC. I was still a novice about Visa applications then and my focus was on going to a top rated school. I applied to McMaster, Memorial and McGill. I don't know why I thought I would be able to afford them without funding(lol). Got admission to McGill in February 2020 but the tuition was almost 30k with zero funding and I wasn't selected for the scholarship I applied for in November 2019.
I deferred the admission with the hope of reapplying for the scholarship the next year while still applying to other schools. I still wanted a high ranking uni but this time I was more strategic and looked for for schools with good ranking but relatively affordable fees. I applied to both UBC and UAlberta and only got UAlberta admission. I also reapplied for the MasterCard scholarship for McGill since I had a deferred admission, this time I was nominated and was so happy. I went through the rigorous scholarship application process and submitted Jan 2021 only to get a rejection from the scholarship in April, I won't lie it broke me and I almost gave up but we moooooove. Thankfully I had my University of Alberta admission so I started my Visa application and eventually submitted in May.
My timeline is as follows: [ ] Upfront medicals: May 13th [ ] Applied : May 14th ( I didn't include my medicals slip because I wanted to submit it with my IELTS result, lol but they updated it to pass before the physical IELTS result came out). [ ] Medicals updated to pass: May 21 [ ] Biometrics: May 24, updated same day [ ] IELTS: May 17th (I did CBT so my result came out online in 2 days) - LRSW; 8.5/9/7.5/8.0 band score: 8.5. [ ] Eligibility review: Sept 7, 2021. [ ] BVL and PPR: Sept 7, 2021. Program: MPH, Occupational and Environmental health School: University of alberta Duration: 2 years course.
Please note I did not get NSE request but sent the IELTS via webform. Also, I used a stanbic mutual funds account so I was unable to get an MBS so I just used a regular bank statement and confirmation of investment letter. The funds available were not so much so I was scared it might affect my application but God thank God for grace.
After submission, I realized that some things I submitted in the financial part were really blurry, so I sent them again via webform and emails. Also, registration for tuition opened late May but I only paid for fall semester and sent the tuition receipt via webform and emails.
I also got a notarized confirmation of name affidavit because the name on my international passport was shortened to Teniola as opposed to all my others documents that beared Oluwateniola. I sent it with a mini LOE explaining that both are the same thing, I sent both via webform and emails.
Special shoutout to Lekiboeboe, he helped to review my SOP and adjust it without charging me a dime. I initially wanted to use an agent but that one charged 1m, me wey no get money, I ran away, lol. Also, shoutout to Frank, when I sent him a mail about my SOP he was willing to help as well but it was short notice and I really wanted to meet up with the May 15th deadline then. But he still helped me look through and encouraged me that my application had prospects.
I used table of contents for both client information and Proof of funds part. My POF part also had like a mini LOE because I wanted to explain all the transactions and any lump sum very well. I have attached pictures of both below to show the documents I submitted.
I wouldn't lie there were times when I felt discouraged and my faith was shaky, but I always encouraged myself with God's word and followed NLP morning prayers diligently to boost my faith. My NLP people I have Received it o and the Wait is over!!!! Surely what God cannot do doesn't exist! It has ended in praise for me and it will end in praise for all PPR hopefuls on the TL! |

This is wrong please. IRCC says "study permit application" not approval Important: Time spent studying outside of Canada only begins to count towards PGWP length after the department receives the study permit application. As such, studies undertaken before the department received the study permit application can be deducted from the PGWP length. Note that the minimum length a PGWP can be issued for is 8 months. Therefore, if a student only completes 7 months of studies after their study permit application is received, they are not eligible for a PGWP. Students are encouraged to apply for their study permits prior to starting their studies. International students studying online abroad may be authorized to enter Canada to attend in-person classes if the school is included on the list of designated learning institutions (DLIs) with an approved COVID-19 readiness plan in place on the IRCC website and they are travelling for a non-discretionary purpose. https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/service-delivery/coronavirus/temporary-residence/study-permit/pgwpp.htmlEnjay316: IRCC has stated clearly and someone posted it some weeks ago that the time u spent studying online before your Visa approval will not be counted wen calculating time studied 4 ur PGWP

Changing your school before getting your Visa and entertaining Canada means you'll begin your application over again technically after informing them. My advice, join online classes if your school has it and allow you to (IRCC says schools can run online classes till 31st December 2021) Best is to speak with course advisor for your course in the school. Mummy4life1: Dear Guru's,
I need your advice.
My program is only September intake.
Should I reply for the program or I should seek another admission for January intake in another school.
waiting for your advice please......
Thanks.

While i was preparing my application in 2020. I saw a well detailed approval timeline. The unique thing about this approval timeline was that, the guy's application profile was 65% aligning with mine. I took time to study all what he did as a first time applicant, connected everything together. His Approval timeline was very insightful.
