One cannot really predict them. I have heard of someone who got a response in less than 48 hours. I know someone who got in about 4 days. I also know another who waited for more than 10 days. Ironically, all these people got a rejection. Just be a bit more patient and stay optimistic.

Yes. We had to send a mail to them. They eventually added the eye icon and we downloaded the outcome.

You have to email hacc@dha.gov.za and inform them that you are unable to download the adjudication outcome. They will do the needful. It doesn't take long for them to do that. I am speaking to from experience. God bless you

your account statement was downloaded online, you should take it to the bank for physical stamping, irrespective of attaching a reference.

I submitted a hardcopy application at VFS on Friday, and was asked to go to my bank to stamp my statement, even though I attached a reference letter. Mind you, this would be my 8th SA visa (the last one expired five days ago). This people no send you o.

Please, what exactly does SA department of home affairs mean by citing INVALID BANK STATEMENT?

This response isn't peculiar to applications from Nigeria alone. Someone in Cameroon got the same response as well.

Even with a reference letter here in Nigeria, they still render bank statements invalid.

Has anyone been able to scale through this challenge? Share your experiences to help please.

Try to reduce / compress the file to a smaller size and retry uploading.

Please how long does it take to hear back from DHA, submitted an application for my son since 16th of August , it’s still showing awaiting adjudication outcome. Also, will I receive a mail when the outcome is out?

Our first application took around 4 days while the second took around 8 days. You will get the outcome since your status is already showing AWAITING ADJUDICATION OUTCOME.

this is absolutely correct, thanks for preparing my mind. I got the mail about a response on Thursday but no download icon, I mailed them on Friday and Saturday - finally heard back from them today. my application was rejected due to bank statement. I submitted with a reference letter and healthy balance. I guess it is just a wrong time for applications for now

My wife's application was rejected too despite attaching a reference letter to the bank statement. They said the bank statement is INVALID. How I wish the FG can look into this and diplomatically intervene.

If the status says, still awaiting adjudication dont bother sending a mail. You munch your page let advise you accordingly.

The status is showing AWAITING ADJUDICATION OUTCOMES already but he couldn't download the outcome. He needs to mail them to fix the issue. That happened to us too and that was what we did to rectify the problem

Hi all, I received a letter from Home Affairs stating the below 👇🏾.

“You are required to electronically add / finalize supporting documents to your online application within 14 days of this letter. Failure to do so will lead to your application being CANCELLED and any money paid will not be refunded to you.
Should you have any queries, please call……”

Now the issue is, I have no idea of the document they are requesting considering I uploaded all necessary documents. Also, my application show ADJUDICATION OUTCOME RECEIVED but I’ve no idea what that means as I’ve gotten any visa acceptance or rejection letter. Please has anyone been in this situation before? What do you propose I do?

Mail hacc@dha.gov.za telling them you can't find the icon to download the adjudication outcome. That's what we did and the issue was resolved. They fixed it the same day we sent the mail and we were able to download the outcome

My wife's first application took around 4 working days before getting the outcome (I mean from the date of payment)

The second application took around 8 days. Is the status showing AWAITING ADJUDICATION OUTCOME?... If yes, just be patient. You will get it. I am optimistic you will get it soon and it will be a positive response.

This is normal. Just make payment and await adjudication outcome. Don't bother yourself about this once you have uploaded the primary documents required and supporting documents. Just make payment and await the outcome.

For the second application, we uploaded additional documents to ensure they consider us... They still rejected the application citing invalid bank statement even after getting a reference letter. A colleague of my wife was rejected due to yellow fever certificate expiry or something like that. She didn't attach reference letter to her bank statement and they didn't say anything about that.

It just seems they are intentionally denying people

We got the adjudication outcome today and they still rejected the second application for the same reason of invalid bank statement.

It seems they are purposely denying people the visa

I am experiencing the same issue now, I applied on the 14th and I just got an email saying the outcome was received but I don't know how to check if the application was successful or rejected.

If you can't find the download icon beside the 'ADJUDICATION OUTCOME RECEIVED"' send a mail to them. That's what we did and they fixed the issue. Mail hacc@dha.gov.za

We sent a mail to them today and it was resolved today as well.

I believe it is from the day of payment. Bear in mind that they calculate based on working days

We got that on the page today but the downloading icon for the outcome which is usually in front is not there.

My SA Evisa application was rejected on the ground off "invalid bank Statement". Statement was downloaded online with every paged stamped. My question is "can I appeal this decision immediately or should wait for a month? It is stated that appeal can be done within 10days of this rejection. What do you advice?

Reapply immediately. Get a reference letter from your bank and attach to your bank statement. That was what happened to my wife. Appeal isn't on for evisa. They sent us a mail to that effect. We reapplied and adjudication outcome is out after about 7-8 working days.

The challenge today is that we are unable to see the link to download the adjudication outcome that came out today

I tried uploading supporting documents this evening and it later gave me an error message asking me to mail hacc@dha.gov.za with a quoted number I was given.

It also complained of lost connection to the site or something like that. I hope to try agaoi tomorrow morning

I am also thinking the issue could be as IA result of heavy file size I was trying to upload. The bank statement uploaded but I couldn't view it. The supporting documents file wasn't uploading. It keeps giving me an error message or site issues.

Can anyone help out from experience?
