Lagos though an APC state is more like a country with much IGR. Apart from Lagos most APC states are nothing to write home about. Payment of workers salary is the least a governor should do. A welcome development. Wonder why other governors are owing many months of salaries especially south west governors excluding Lagos state governor. A friend working with Oyo state government got november salary three weeks ago. The friend is depressed and feeds from hand to mouth. I believe those not paying salaries are the wicked ones that has failed to adjust to the hard times, they still want to continue living luxurious and expensive life styles using money meant to be used for salaries. They tell workers to fasten their belts but has refused to do the same. Party affiliations aside, majority of the wicked governors are APC change agents. For me the change is evil, backwardness, sufferings and owing of several months of salaries.

My brother it is true. It is so pathetic. Civil servants are passing through difficult time. November salary was paid two weeks ago.

Oyo state is yet to pay dec,jan, feb and march salary. This change is evil change indeed.

I visted a friend of mine at Oyo state and was astonished with the hard time the guy is passing through. October salary was the last salary he got. He works in one of the state hospitals. On further enquiry Oyo state is better than Osun in salary payment. Many states are owing months of unpaid salaries. I wept for my country because salary is the least thing a government should do. I am still looking and searching for the change PMB promised. God help us.
