Just take a look at a pastor's daughter. Not just any pastor but an AGO (Assistant General overseer)

Later they will stand on pulpit and say shìt about other people.

Y'all quoting me are too stupìd to reply.

Pastors saying shìt about others, calling them "children of the devil" because of the way they look and dress but here is his daughter looking like a Hoe.

Ain't they suppose to practice what they preach?
But what's wrong with that pic? Why hide behind a faceless forum to post cryptic messages?

Computers › Mind-reading Device That Turns Your Thoughts Into Words by Desyner(op): 12:49am On Apr 19, 2017

A device that reads people's minds through their brainwaves has been created by scientists.

It could lead to an 'easily-operated' machine that links up to smartphones in the next five years, the researchers said.

The breakthrough could one-day help handicapped people who struggle to speak to communicate again, such as those who have suffered a stroke.

It could be used as a 'telepathic typewriter' that automatically notes down what we are thinking.

The technology, from researchers at Japan's Toyohashi University of Technology, can recognise the numbers 0 to 9 with 90 per cent accuracy using brain waves.

Study participants uttered the numbers and the robot guessed in real-time based on real-time readings of an electroencephalogram (EEG) brain scan.

The mind-reading device was also able to recognise 18 types of Japanese symbols from EEG signals with a 60 per cent accuracy rate.

This, the researchers say, shows the possibility of an EEG-activated typewriter in the near future.

'Up until now, speech-decoding from EEG signals has had difficulty in collecting enough data to allow the use of powerful algorithms based on "deep learning" or other types of machine learning,' reads a university statement.

'The research group has developed a different research-framework that can achieve high performance with a small training data-set.

Drones will completely replace human inspection right?... You started by claiming there wasn't any need for inspection cos the source of the fault should have been detailed via SCADA in a developed world. Now you claim drones should be used for the inspection?... How many drones do you really think are capable of flying the length of a transmission cable?... now we arent talking of just a spot inspection, but a length spanning hundreds of kilometres?.... Do you really think using those kind of drones are cheaper or more efficient in inspection than an actual fly-over in a chopper?

Bro, without going into much arguments, SCADA helps you monitor and control, it does not replace 'inspection.' Also, the use of drones for inspection may sound or seem fancy, but they aren't necessarily cheaper or as effective as sending a pair of real human eyes out there. And finally, what we have on this thread (i.e. inspection using choppers etc) is still very much the current inspection mode obtainable even in the most developed parts of the world.
Why inspect 'hundreds of kilometre' when scada can reveal the location. Do you know the strength, speed and precision of scadas?

Is eliminated right?.... You notice a loss in signal from the control room, and you genuinely think it's needless to go out in the field to physically inspect, trace or investigate the true nature of the damage?... An advanced SCADA system will supposedly do all that for you while you sit permanently in the office?.... Wonderful!
What are drones for? Hmm tell me?

ANd when you pinpoint the location from the CCR, what do you do next?
When you pinpoint the location of fault, the need to start tracing the point of fault is eliminated.

Do you really think they don't have that in Nigeria?... After a potential problem is discovered (via SCADA), you dont think they need to physically go out to inspect the equipment/facilities?
What we have in Naija is hardly a SCADA. Higher precision SCADAs pinpoint location of damage in seconds and to the last kilometre.

TV/Movies › Re: Can Nigerians Do Without Dstv? by Desyner: 2:39am On Apr 08, 2017
We can't. Funny thing is HiTV tried what Nigerians are requesting that DSTV do and they FAILED.
As long as DSTV pays most of the fees that grants them transmission right in dollars and dollar rates increases every time they are due to renew their own right to transmit, the increase in local subscription fee will be justified. Nigerians hardly get this fact.

Oga OP, giving pple N1m will not solve our problem. If The money (N1M) is given to people. There is 95% chance they will import foreign produced items and attempt to sell. By the time they do that for 18 months, atleast 90% of the initial capital would be out of Nigeria. Poverty will only go away when our productivity matches our needs/want.
