Population is one of the advantages the Nigerian economy has that is under exploited. Why do you think investors especially comodity businesses looks towards countries like Nigeria? Why do you think for example Thailand rice mills which are fast loosing their revenues as export to Nigeria is almost being wipped out, are relocating those rice mills to Nigeria?

Do you think if Lagos is just 5 million people, do you think Lagos can generate 10% of the current IGR? Think of how much Lagos generates from its high population - Land use charges, consumption taxes, License renewals, PAYEE etc? Why do you think Lagos have that monstrous weight to borrow like crazy to fund their infrastructure projects? Lagos does not have natural resources that commands commercial value to make a 5 million people economy that prosperous. Lagos thrives on commerce, and population is a major catalyst.

The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, disclosed these in a video he posted on his Facebook page. He insisted that the recent spate of killings by herdsmen in parts of the country had nothing to do with Buhari being Fulani.

Honestly, apprehend, convict and punish all guilty economic saboteurs and offenders severely to deter others. Then, oil to armed robbery, kidnapping, smuggling, insurgency, abused demonstrations, public funds misappropriation, illegal migration, tax evasion, illegal killings and deprivations and such sins etc must all be checked appropriately and urgently. In fact the apt time for justice is now.

* Where is the economic sabotage from? We were promised modular refineries and the full production of our old refineries. Three years down the line, nothing. We invest billions of dollars on generation plants without investing in the infrastructure required to transmit that power to distribution companies.
