So, in your shallow and unintelligent mind, investors always lie and don't invest even after signed agreements between 2 entities with already established relationships and investments already on the ground?

Hate and bitterness really should not be your sad and only excuse for ignorant, childish, absurd and re-terded utterances.
Did osun govt or the firm make the announcement? Your rants don't move me a bit. I know you too well.

Aregbe the nightmare of East side
I hope you don't get angry when the people you invite without provocation arrive.
@topic, good projects but at what cost. How does it affect the fiscal apparatus of Osun. Any good father(FG) should be happy when his child(Osun) prospers but should that child be found to be prospering on debt the father is bound to become restless and worried.
It is more logical if the child had invested the debt in medium term venture that can help him remain independent financially than if invested in long term venture with no immediate return in sight.
Politics › Re: The Vice President, Prof Osinbajo In Osun State For MSME Clinic, PICS. by Desyner: 9:22pm On Nov 30, 2017
This may sound like opposition but it isn't.
Experience has taught me to always probe beyond the beautiful pictures when people post picture of project as divident of democracy.
At what cost were these project executed ?
Is it debt sustained ?
Do they address the most pressing issues of the states ?
Are they sustainable ?

Politics › Re: Nigeria's Deepening Conflict Between Fulani Herdsmen And Farmers by Desyner: 7:55pm On Nov 30, 2017
A nation that's more of a joke. The FG doesn't run heavily on tax but free oil dollar. It can afford to suppress farmers and still run so expect no change from the FG soon.
Politics › Re: ‎jonathan Wasn’t Desperate For Power, But Unprepared For Leadership -saraki by Desyner:
Just like his colleaques he was a clear case of ambition with no vision. If he had a bit of vision maybe there would be 600,000 bpd refinery somewhere in ND by now employing hundreds of thousand of people.
He was not only unprepared, he wasn't ready to prepare for or even adjust to the demands of Nigerians.

The fact that you are ignorant per the project and the company's already established relationships and collaborations with the Osun state government is a reflection of your own ignorance and inability to even hide your ignorance just because of hate, tribalism and bigotry.

The needless urge to hate Osun state and Gov. Aregbesola as usual and spew unintelligent rubbish prevented you from realizing and asserting the basic and obvious effects of such collaborations in terms of jobs, economic diversification and IGR regardless what the state is contributing or not contributing.

Or your puerile understanding says the only way to diversify your economy, create jobs and generate IGR is to give money to investors to set up business with?
I thought IGR wasn't important in that other thread a month ago. If I say what's on my mind now pride may not let you accept the truth.

In your 'neutral' mind you think one firm will just establish a whole industrial park like that. I hope everything is true and as presented here.
As for your emotional rant I choose to let that slide for now.

He is talking to Christian leaders as a Christian himself. Muslims will talk to their own leaders. If a man is put on a pedestal as pastors are they should do better than the people who put them on a pedestal, not worse. If they don't, it means it's all hype and nothing. Athink you get now?
He doesn't see those 'leaders' as his leader. As a matter of fact, he is trying to 'freethesheeples' under those leaders. I hope muslims allow christians to ask their pastor about tithes also.

Did the pastors approach 'those' young men or vice versa?
What about alfas and imams? Don't these young men visit them also?
We all know the prosperity of the church is provoking the rage of jealousy from people who see Christians as competition.

Acidosis:
This shameless ediot has started again?!

Libya is a Muslim dominated country with over 85% Sunni Muslims. Why are the Sheiks, Imans, and Sultans not talking about the evils Libyans do against our Nigerian brothers?
Where is the Sultan of Sokoto, what about the Emirates in Kano? Why are they mute? Why can't they save the innocent "One-Naijerian" brothers in the hands of their Libyan Brotherhood?

Why must it be the Pastors taking blames for the inadequacies of a nation that has been ruled by the Northern powers that be?

Whoever employed this ma d man as a radio station worker has committed a crime against humanity. People like Freeze shouldn't be heard when they talk.
They want to benefit from what they oppose. What happened to the tax we paid to govt to protect the interest of every Nigerian? This guy with a frozen brain and mind thinks pastors are accountable to devils. The fact that we don't need permission to enter a church doesn't make the church a place to vomit vile ideas.

You are extremely ignorant bros.
The SW still has more organised towns than any other region. Go to a small town in SW and you are more likely to see working public water supply. As far as intl standards for dev is concerned SW is far ahead. When you think development think information(telco presence), road access to communities, water, healthcare that's shared by all and stop thinking about big mansion with a borehole next to a soakaway who owner probably consult a chemist sales girl more often than doctors.

RockHard:
Perhaps if you had done some little research you would have realized that this proposed partnership is merely an extension of an already established relationship between the state govt. and the Chinese in question because the Chinese have are already successfully managing (in partnership with the state government) the state's 20,000 tons per day Cocoa Processing factory at Ede -- there's actually a thread on it here:

https://www.nairaland.com/3093805/inside-osuns-revived-cocoa-factory

Therefore, what is about to happen is merely an extension/expansion of an already working template, so there's nothing farfetched about it.

I am sick of people dishing out needless facts. Re-read my comment and post a more direct reply please or forget it.

She is right, it's not the government's role to provide jobs, rather the government's role is to provide an enabling environment for business to thrive and that is something that it has not done.
Govt in Nigeria is more about grabbing resource and domination.

I agree.
It is the job of government to provide enabling environment for job creators and the govt is performing poorly.
Govt is suppose to provide/assure us of power, security, roads, protective regulation and policies but we all know the story with these things.

I give it to the SW. Consider Lagos and parts of Ogun, then add the industries and residences of Ibadan (Oyo) and you have your answer.
I rate MiddleBelt highly also, consider Kaduna, Jos, Nasarawa (outskirts of Abuja) and Abuja.
ND and SE too I rate high. in fact it is a close race between ND and SW.
Overall Nigeria is still a backward country
Politics › Re: Nigeria To Become The Extreme Poverty Capital Of The World By 2018 by Desyner: 2:53am On Nov 30, 2017
I think I have said it many times on this platform that our population growth is fast outstripping any increase in resource we experience.
The average Nigerian does not add value to the system he finds him/herself and that translates into govt bearing the pressure of people who are overall parasites.
The northerners think this system is cool because they have the highest number of beneficiaries in our current sharing structure.
How can a single LGA with less than 10 vehicle have 40 drivers on its payroll ? Our sharing formula govt is failing flat and we need to restructure the country and re-orientate the Nigerian mind ASAP.

Osun making strides. This is a lof of jobs by January 2019 unless they mean this January. Anyway what tax terms did they offer.
While I applaud the move as a good one I don't think this is a stride yet.
The whole thing sounds too elaborate to me, How can a single Chinese firm process cocoa, salt, cassava starch and still handle power provision ?

The partnership, according to Governor Aregbesola, will support the state on six different investments which includes; cocoa bean processing, chocolate and food processing, salt processing, cassava starch processing, gold mining and power plants.
In fact the firm is creating the industrial park most of it. The state govt is merely giving out land. If I go further now it may sound like I am hating on Osun.
Through full communication and negotiation, both sides reached resolutions which are summarized as follows: “the Osun Government of Nigeria agrees that Jiangsu Wuxi Taihu Cocoa Food company Limited will invest to establish the Industrial Park in Osun State who will allocate 200 hectares of land for the Industrial Park.

Less than 500 people 'allegedly' killed and we won't rest from these peoples' cry.
How many innocent people were killed during 2011 elections and what was their reaction ?
How many Christians were killed during the Kaduna masacre of Christians and what role did this sect play in killings or consoling with the bereaved ?
How many Christian farmers group are being killed by Fulani herdsmen and what did this sect do ?
Where were they when BH started attacking Christians ?

These people are only good at playing the victim and inciting their bethren against outsiders, they think the world won't find them out.
