Paulzy84: Good morning fam, I have been following this trend for a while now, I made up my mind after i stop the Australia process, to cut the long story short. My question are: 1. Is it too late to apply to school now for winter admission. 2. Can the embassy still schedule a date for me for interview if my AL is a bit late. 1. It's already at the 11th hour because most schools have July 15 as admission deadline. Search deeply to find schools that are still open. 2. Book for appointment immediately you have your Admission letter. So far it's still in the winter window and there's sufficient time between your interview and enrolment deadline, the embassy will interview you and process your visa. |

Iamwaterpark: I'm a newbie and I just graduated from the university two months ago, awaiting my certificate. I will like to know if I can apply even though my certificate is not yet ready. Also, I'll like to know if I can apply for Masters in sports management even though I have journalism and mass communication in my first degree. Many schools allow Application if Certificate isn't ready. Just ensure you have it when you want to enrol. For any course you want to apply for, DAAD is your answer. Comb everywhere on DAAD. You'll find something. Also, I'll recommend that you read through the thread for more information. |

Electricboy: i have a question to ask. and its about my future career, i am currently studying wood products engineering, i would like to know how possible it is to study mechanical or electrical engineering for my masters in deutschland , thank you Wood products engineering... Probably at UI, ryt? Wood products engineering isn't close to mechanical or electrical engineering. nevertheless, you should start mailing schools ahead now, so you can know where exactly to apply to when it's time. Get the email address of course coordinators of different programs of your choice. Send inquiry mail, attach your department course modules there, and the course description, so they can see what you've done and what you're still going to do. From there they can advise if they are in a position to consider you for admission. Meanwhile, if you're still in 100/200L, you can kuku get your transcript and apply for your preferred engineering Bachelors in Germany. That can save you some time. My 1 cent. |

dailydolar: I need help I recently certified a doc at German embassy for a school A and I later found out I need to pay some fee to the school before my application can be considered but I wish now to forward my application to school B can I still use the embassy certification for school A to apply to be B by just attaching the school B form on top of the A certified embassy document. What I'll suggest you do is that, send the entire set certified at the embassy for school A, including their Application form to your new school of choice. Don't detach anything, because detaching a page from the set invalidates the Certification. So, when you now put the new Application form together with the previous one inside envelope, Write a cover letter stating what happened and that you'd like to use the certified set for your admission processing. They should honour it. If it's not comfortable with you, kuku do another Certification. |

danielnwatu: Good day all. I had my appointment on Tuesday. ABUJA EMBASSY I have a year scholarship worth 800£ per month. I was not interviewed because I have to open a blocked account for the second year. I don't know what is the way forward. I need advice. Thanks Come to Lagos, it shouldn't be a problem here. Besides, on a norms, you shouldn't have been turned back cos the proof of sustenance required by the embassy is for 1yr, not 2. Unless your scholarship doesn't cover the entire year... You can open a blocked account and go for the interview with the opening confirmation, alongside your scholarship. But then.. I've not heard of this before.. odindi scholarship |

Print proof of opening. It's okay for the interview. You'll be told to fund and send the funding confirmation to an email |

Funding before interview isn't compulsory. You can go with the opening confirmation. Even if you fund before interview, and God forbid, things go south, or you do not wish to process the visa any more, you can request a refund of your money. So, your money 'no fit hang' |

I just want to encourage us to continue with what we are doing, God will surely bless us all. My question is this, are there arts related courses in German universities that are free tuition too? Amen. Yes, you'll definitely find art courses. As people have recommended DAAD, please make sure you search well. Seek and ye shall find |

OgbeniVan: Good evening guys.
I’m in a bit of a dilemma. My First School Leaving Cert is lost. I’ve just gotten back from going to trace it from my primary school but I found out that the school doesn’t exist anymore and hasn’t even existed for years. Is there any other thing I can do to get it as quickly as possible or can I swear an affidavit for it? Those that have gone for interview, is not having it a deal breaker at the embassy? BA, appointment date and AL are all set. Just this certificate left.
SOS! If your school doesn't exist again, go to the ministry of education in your state and let them attest that you attended that primary school. You can use that document as an alternative to the FSLC. If you're unable to, just tell Paulinus that you don't have it. As I said earlier, if the network in his head is in resonance with yours, he shouldn't disturb you. |

olaadesie: yes, 2.57 is Nigeria Gpa thanks, I'm on the Potsdam uni searching as you suggest.
pls, I won't mind more suggestion on schools and course for mass communication graduate either BA or MSc.
I graduated in 2015, I hope it won't be a constraint (the year's gaps for a second degree)at the embassy during the interview? Your year of graduation isn't a problem at all. 2015 is just 4yrs back. Keep searching on DAAD, you can also use Wikipedia. If you don't mind, Search out the list of all universities in Germany. Open their websites one by one. You'll see if they have your desired course. |

Somstevee: Good day house. I wish to commend each and every one of us who have devoted time to make sure that no one is victimized at the course of achieving his or her goal, I must acknowledge that your efforts have helped and benefited the masses. THANK YOU. I am actually new to this family, as a Matter of fact, I just created a nairaland account tonight. I have gone through the thread the much as I can and have gotten several beneficial information. But am still left with few questions. I got admission to study master of biological resources at Rheine Waal university of applied sciences yesterday, and I tried scheduling my visa appointment today. During the process of applying for the interview, I noticed that some things has changed, unlike previous years, when one can apply via sending mail to the embassy, every one is expected to apply via the embassy website, I ask if it is normal?
Secondly, I noticed that at the process of filling the form, student visa is categorized into class And B. I still wish to ask if it is normal. Although I applied through class A, and got the email I attached here, I just wish to clarify that am on the right track.
Please if anyone else got admission to the Same course and school as mine, I will love a link up.
Thanks once more Everything is normal my brother. Welcome on board. |

shantelleasante: Please will I be able to get admission for Masters in Germany with a CGPA of 2.82? That's about 2.6 on German scale. It's very possible, but you have to sacrifice some things. I'll advise that you search for schools with unrestricted admission. Also ensure you have some work experience in that field. You can also write GMAT or GRE with an English test (IELTS or TOEFL) to boost your chances. |

Valentinejeco: Good evening landers ,do I need my original bsc certificate for interview and enrollment or can I use my bsc attestation? It's a dicey stuff. Well, you should be able to do interview without Certificate, but I'm cocksure your school won't enrol you if they don't see your Certificate. Most schools I've seen will allow you apply for admission even when your Certificate isn't ready, but on a condition that if you're admitted, you must provide it during enrolment. |

Mopeds: No one is answering my question, I guess this thread isn't for me Reminds me of my philosophy classes in 100L. The bolded statement is a fallacy; appeal to pity (Argumentum ad misericordiam), Exploiting our feelings of pity to win an argument/obtain something. I don't know if your question has been answered, but I think, pending when we await answers to the questions we ask, we can also check Quora, or just open up Google. Type it the way you can express yourself, after you type the question, put nairaland at the end of the statement. You'll definitely see results of similar, if not the same question that has surfaced on nairaland before. With that you can have an idea or even a concrete answer ahead of when someone will answer yours. You don't need to appeal to anyone's pity by saying you guess the thread is not for you. Nobody go send you. It's a cold world out there. Plus, Nairaland and all threads belong to Seun. |

olaadesie: Boss abeg I have 2.57 from oou studied mass communication... Can I apply with GP?? I have check daad.de must course and sch deadline is July 15 pls how can u help with sch I can apply to directly without uni assist?
I don't mind any social or management science course either BA or Msc Is your 2.57 Nigerian grade or German grade CGPA? If it's Nigerian grade, then that's 2.8 German grade. It might be a bit difficult to get a masters admission, so I'll advise you apply for another bachelor. As regards deadlines, most schools have July 15 as deadlines, apart from some unusual ones that close earlier. There's still time between now and July 15. Check University of Potsdam. Applications are still open, and the Uni-assist Application is free of charge. Having in mind that many schools might have closed Applications, I won't advise that you exclude Uni-assist Applications from your search, that's if you really want to move by winter. If otherwise, you can patiently wait till summer Application where you can get more than enough schools without Uni-assist. |
