I received my first MSc AL in May 28. I booked category A immediately, and I got the appointment date on may 31.

So, the ALs are coming everyday.. glory to God.

My 6th AL came today.

You don't need to send hard copies to RUB for Application. I think it's when you're admitted you'll do that

It was sent via email, and also uploaded on the portal.
When they receive your documents, your status changes to received. Next is the forwarding of your application to the admission committee. You'll see a corresponding change to that effect via mail and on your portal too.
When the committee is done, the decision notice is sent via mail and portal.

Most of my rejections came on the basis of
1. They have too many applicants; far beyond their expectations, so they unfortunately cannot offer me a place.
2. My undergraduate curriculum not sufficient to enter the MSc


No school has specifically mentioned that my CGPA was too low. None.

I cried bro. There was no Admission letter yet at as at that time. Made the tears flow faster.

I have this jotter where I pen down my list of Applications.. any time rejection comes, I usually pick the jotter to cross out the part where I put down the school and course details. Crossing twice in a day really affected my morale . Those who chat me very well on this forum knew how strong my fears were.

And yes, it's good to apply to as many places as possible, especially if they are Restricted courses. My 1.7 German grade CGPA couldn't get me into many programs I applied for.

No I didn't write any exam.
I sent online application on April 1
My document got there April 30
AL came today (Biochemistry)

Thanks bro. Even though I'm rejecting most of them cos I already have my most preferred application, It's good to testify to God's goodness. That's why I still share testimony when AL comes.

I don't usually mention it when rejection letters come

I once had a day like that . I went out in the morning to put some documents in place without breakfast. I came back in the afternoon to eat my breakfast as lunch, as I grabbed my phone, rejection letter entered my mail. I lost appetite immediately. Dropped the phone and in one hour, tried to gather some strength to eat my food. I started eating and under 10 mins, another rejection letter dropped in. I cried mehn..

So behind the many ALs (5 is not many to me tho), I've packed a plethora of Rejections.

Good morning all, please can i use my admission letter from a private university in Germany for interview and visa then after a semester with the private university I apply to a public university? Is it possible please, I don't have the money to complete the master course. Since admission is not forthcoming in the public university I applied to.

Yes you can. Many people do it.
Means you have to start Application for summer semester immediately it's open so you can port there. You'll present a certificate of Exmatrikulation from the private school before you're enrolled in the public school.

For those tho will be having interviews with schools for admission, Based on the 4 different interviews I've had so far

Generally, they will ask:
1. Why do you want to study that course?
2. Why did you choose their school?
3. What skills are you bringing to the MSc program
4. Explain your Bachelor thesis in details
5. How do you plan to sustain yourself?
6. General questions from your field
7. Any questions for us?

Please everyone help me ooo..... Uniassit just sent this now to me, that i am not qualified to study the course because i got 2.1 in my german grade system, when the school requested for 2.0 minimum. I am so confused now, and they said they cannot forward my application. What do you guys advice... Is 2.1 german scale a bad score?

Sorry about the rejection.

2.1 is a good grade. But you know these people work with specific figures. They said they don't want anything less than 2.0
Germans use reverse numeric CGPA stuff where 1.9 is higher than 2.0 and 2.0 is higher than 2.1

The school would have definitely told Uni-assist Not to forward any application less than 2.0, that's why you were rejected.

Are those other documents necessary?

If you're married and you indicated that in your visa application form, then the your marriage certificate along with you.
You don't need landed properties. Job experience will be on your CV. If you're currently working, you can hold the appointment letter

What a clear and superb analysis. You got my courage increased bro. Anyway I will get the BA funded by God Grace before the visa interview date but for the enrollment, the school already sent me the enrollment form plus other documents by post but I will have to return the enrollment form filled with photo copy of my valid student visa on my passport by post before 30 September to be enrolled. Only document I think i can hold along is only the payment receipt for that semester fee that's if i pay it before the interview date but there will be no enrollment certificate as valid visa is require for me to be enrolled. Why I am somehow thinking of the date not too close to the enrollment deadline with this visa duration issue of 4-6weeks or beyond. Seems the embassy might still end up requesting for enrollment deadline extension from this point of view or what you thinking? Thanks for your time and effort.

N.B: Check the attached screenshot on the enrollment deadline and others.

I clearly understand now. The school wants to see your visa. Hmm. It's simple. If you see that the deadline is approaching and the embassy is yet to send AM, you can request for an extension from the school stating that the embassy is still working on your visa
