evergreen9: Just opened my blocked account so that's sorted out, Now I want to know if I have to fill and submit the visa application form online before arranging an interview date (I was told the form can be filled and submitted online), or do I print out the form, fill it up and then take it along on the interview date? Though your question is not too clear to me.. but let me analyse I believe you have an Admission letter now, and you have opened a blocked account. Next thing is to book for an interview appointment by visiting this link https://service2.diplo.de/rktermin/extern/choose_categoryList.do?locationCode=lago&realmId=347If you're going for Masters or BSc, and you have a bachelor degree with grade between first class and second class lower, click on Category A and fill in your details. If you have a third class BSc Certificate, book category B. You will receive a confirmation email. Then you'll await your appointment date, which will be mailed to you. The next thing is to start getting your documents ready, according to the checklist. Follow this link https://nigeria.diplo.de/ng-en/service/visa/student-research-and-language-course-visa/1015536Towards the bottom of the page, you'll find the visa application form, the declaration bla bla, As well as the checklist of documents. Download the three of them. You can fill the visa application form on your computer /phone and print out two copies. Everything you'll need is on the checklist. Good luck. |

I was born in the 80s and I have a birth certificate from the Lagos state government and my cousin said I can go with that to the interview but what I saw on the checklist the birth certificate must be from either the national population commission NPC or age declaration, am I right? Please can Anybody help clarify this...... Secondly if it is mandatory to get a declaration of age, do anyone know where I can get it done in Lagos and collect it same day? Please help a brother Thank God you said "but what I saw in the checklist" Bro, don't Goan cause wahala for yourself ehn. Just follow what the checklist says. Get the declaration from Ikeja high court as someone had earlier described and take it for your interview God's speed |

Chriswazo: Yea Bro, am thinking how we will continue in part 7. It's simple. Since the motive behind it is to ensure that prospective applicants find someone who has applied for their course, Just copy the entire list and paste on the first page on part 7. We will be updating the list from there too. Well done bro |

decide: Hi everyone, congrats to those that have gotten AL, AD, and AM. To all who have been assisting and keeping this thread alive, you are wonderful.
To my question, I have AL in Computer Engineering from Paderborn send through mail. I wish to know if printing the soft copy is enough for interview or I should expect a hardcopy that will be delivered by courier services.
Again, I applied with Bsc and MSC but I believe that my admission is considered using Bsc, wants to know if I can go with BSc result/Transcript or do I need to go with masters result as well. Well.. there's no harm in adding your MSc stuffs to your interview documents, but you only have to be prepared to tell the VO why you want to do another Masters, And not a PhD. |

Osunguy: Good evening guys,
I initially booked category B and I got date because I had just a bachelors admission and on the appointment letter it was boldly written BACHELORS on it. Now I have a masters admission letter and I would like to know if I can use the category B appointment letter for my masters interview. Would it pose an issue for me?
I anticipate your response guys, thanks in advance. Good morning sir. Kindly cancel your category B booking and rebook for Masters category A. |

If you have a date already, go for the interview. The booking is just for the gate pass, and so far the names match those on your passport with the ID, you're okay. |

gbens2000: My enrollment due date is 31/08 and I never get appointment date with embassy Hamm-Lipstadt I guess. Hmm.. if you have a bachelor already, book category A and fix August 1 as start of studies. Also, the school said from August 5, they will start taking requests for enrolment extension, which they will allow for a few weeks. So be hopeful you should get a date in July. |

Eromose08: Hello house, please I need your advice, please my appointment with the embassy is scheduled for 3rd of September and my school resumes on the 7th of October. Hope it's not too late in terms of when the AM will drop, cos honestly I feel my AD is very far. I think you should let us know the enrolment deadline for your school. It's not necessarily the resumption date. From your admission letter, if the Embassy sees that the space between interview and enrolment deadline is feasible, they'll process your application. Alternatively, see if your school can extend enrolment. |

Adejare011: Boss man it depends on what you call cheaper o. my budget is between 3-5k........docs am sending is 5 docs. pringles212: Last time I used Aramex, they charged N13,279. I am not sure NIPOST will be able to deliver before July 15. It is very risky to use NIPOST. You can also look for other people that want to send to the same schools as you and split the cost. Thanks for the update pringles212. Adejare011, you can find 1-2 other people that want to send docs to the school so you can split cost. Also, ask for student discount when you get there. If you're sending directly to a school, they will have discount for you. You can also try to check if any University around you has a DHL outlet on their campus. They will offer you student price. I used the one in UI two times. They send 0- 500g (which I believe your 6 documents won't be more than) for 10,000. |

Adejare011: Hello People, I sincerely need your advice. I just discovered i actually met the requirements of one of these schools whose deadline is july 15th but i have to send my certified docs to the school. i have actually send docs to two schools via courier before now and really short of cash. is it advisable i use NIPOST. please has anyone use NIPOST? How is their service like? is it fast? the deadline is july 15th NIPOST can't fly between now and July 15. It's too risky to try. If you're in Lagos, try Aramex, they offer at cheaper price than other Courier Guys. Check them at the following locations Aramex 283A Ajose Adeogun St, VI Aramex Outlet 51 Marina Rd |
