Chapter 73
Three cars drove in the vast desert, raising thick dust in the air. Mide halted his car and alighted, followed by Sen from the car that followed behind.
"Alright, so from the map reading, we are close, probably there" Sen said, looking around and shielding his face from the sun. Tema alighted the last car which was behind Sen's car, and also IV but he stood by the door.
Tema got closer to Mide and Sen and looked at the map, and also looked around, as there was no building in site as the map had described.
"There is more to this" Mide said and went to his car and brought out the slate from the dashboard, and Tasha alighted also.

IV looked around also, and climbed on the top of his car if he could see anything from distance.
"Guys, you have to see this" IV said "Climb on your cars"

A body guard, followed by a lady in white lab coat, entered into the office of the War Frame Company Director.
"Sir, we discovered an unusual signal from war frame" The lady said and pointed to red dots on her tablet.
"What's that? "
"We can't tell, but from the location, it's around the desert in War Frame, and too bad, we can't monitor movement to know who the red dots are " the lady replied.
The Director looked closely at the dots and counted it.
"Six dots, they are still alive" the director shouted and suddenly stood up and ran out of the office.
"Mr Anthony, wait, there is still more" the lady shouted and sighed, knowing the director was out of ear shot.

"So we have been there all this while, this desert is exactly the replica of the slate, which means, the next lead should be there " IV said, pointing to the right.
He jumped down from the car and ran towards where he pointed to. He knelt down on the sand, and dipped his hand in it, while he paid attention, as he moved his hand in the sand.
"Got it" IV said and pulled up a lever from the ground.

"We have company" Tema shouted and pointed to the dust from distance.
A hologram of a man, with full white beards and a staff in his hand, rolled out from the sand, and looked at them before he spoke.
"Only determination brings true breakthrough, only silence understands wisdom " The hologram said and out of it came a dusty book with brown back.

IV reached out for the book, and grabbed it, then the hologram spoke
"What do you do with wealth? " the hologram asked and faded.
"Everyone in" Mide shouted, seeing the dust got nearer and was caused by about seven heavy vehicles.

"You see that, they got the next lead, I thought he killed them"the man shouted angrily in the car at the person who drove the car.

"There is no way we can escape " Sen shouted, through his walkie talkie.
"Everyone drive closer " Hardys shouted from his car "I have a five minutes cloaking powerup" Hardys said and flipped a cover open, revealing a rusty flip button.
"come-on babe" Hardys said and switched the button.
A white fume spread out from the body of Hardys car to the others and changed the appearance of their car , making it blend with the color of the environment.

"Congrats War Framers, the next challenge has been opened" the entire war frame avatars was certain they heard the voice in their head.

Chapter 74

Mide placed both metal parts together, they all watched as it joined together and formed a slate, with a broken part in a half.
"This is just a drawing of some kind of ancient key" Hardys said, with displease.
"We will need to get the final piece" Mide said, and was about taking the slate, when IV held his hand.
"We might not need to go after the last piece" He said, with his hand on his chin
"How? "
"Look at the pattern on the drawing, from the top here" IV said and pointed to where he meant "It has same pattern as the bottom, which means" He said and grabbed a mirror from the shelf on the wall.
He looked at them and grinned and place the mirror at the broken part of the slate, and bent in angle where he could view the image.
"Do you see that? " He asked excitedly.
"Genius, so it just reflection and refraction all these while" Tema said, with a smiling.
"It's not a key, it's a lead, Golden Desert" Sen said, seeing clearly the tiny writing on the slate, with the help of his glasses.
"Alright peeps let's roll" Mide said, and patted IV on the back.
IV smiled and looked up, and his eyes met with Tema's and they both looked away.

Chapter 73

Mide's comlink blinked, alongside others except Tema, surprised they all got the same message, an invitation from the Directing Board of War Frame.
"Alright, Mide, we've done something to annoy these dudes" Hardys said.
"Maybe it's just another endorsement deal"
Tema opened her mouth agape, because of their avatars in the War Frame, she failed to know those before her were legends.
"Wait, you guys are the one on the endorsement posters and advertisement?" Tema asked with gladness.
"Yep" Sen replied.
"What of the cat? "
"No animals in war frame" Sen replied again.
"Tema, do you reside around, we will need to go in as a team " Mide said, looking closely at her.
"Yes, before, reaching the Distribution Cycle " Tema replied.
"Alright good, everyone abort, we meet at God's Love" Mide said and pressed the red button on his palm.

IV drove the car beside the edge of the walk way, while Mide sat next to him,others sat at the back.
"Alright, someone how do I look" IV asked looking at the rear glass.
"Nice " Tasha replied and adjusted his collar.
"How do we know her? " Sen asked confused.
"How about she was a kind of Devil beauty? " Hardys said and made everyone go up in laughter.
"She knows us, let's alight and wait by the car" Hardys suggested and they all alighted.
After minutes of waiting, a girl began approaching them.
"That should be her" Hardys said nervously and held Sen's hand tightly.
The girl walked closer, and gave a bright smile at them, and jogged to cover distance.
"Wow, she's beautiful " Tasha commented.
The girl finally got to them, and smiled.
"It's me Tema" She said and hugged Tasha tightly before Tasha knew it.
"Wow, you're beautiful" Tasha commented again.
Tema, was a black beauty, with naturally blue eyes, a short hair, falling at the back, she was only about five feet tall, which made her the shortest among them, and perfectly matching with her oval face.
"Alright we're late" Mide said.

They all alighted the car, and walked towards the entrance of the War Frame building, with Tema carrying Wicked on her hand.
They were brought before the Director, who was the same man, that had showed them around.
"You know, that trick you pulled off, made us loss about 40 percent of our daily income, which was almost bad for business" The man said, smiling brightly.
"Never knew, no one told us, hope it doesn't affect anything" Made replied.
"No, not at all, just almost" the man said and brought out a file from the drawer of his desk.
"Let me tell you a story about War Frame" the man said, this time with a stern voice.
"Our years of research, War Frame isn't just a game, it was the first version of The Sanctuary, it was abandoned, because of Jr's complexity, the initial founder of War Frame, already dead, made War Frame a game of strength and intellect" The man said and paused, making sure he had their full attention ,and continued.
"He was the richest man, then, and still is, according to the records of his assets, but he had no child, then he discovered War Frame, and integrated out The Sanctuary from it, making the sanctuary an entirely different world, now the War Frame, is where he kept the key to his life assets, money, companies, business, house, island, land, and no matter how we tried to crack it, we always met with dead end, and then you showed up, I knew you had the intellect for it, but then, if this game ends, our business will be gone for good" The man said and watched their reaction.
"Now, I want you to stop participation, in the chase for the parts, you can do other things, hunt, sell, upgrade, fight, but just step down from the chase, good day " The man said and stood up, then walked out of the office.

A bulldozer, suddenly came out from an alley and collided with Mide's car, making it crash out of the road, the car tumbled three times, before finally coming to a halt. "Boss, they are taken care of" The man who drove the bulldozer said, as be came closer to the car, and examined it before turning around.
"Is everyone alright " Mide asked, as he bleed from his head.
"Yeah" they all responded and crawled out of the car.
Most held Tasha close to him, and helped her clean the blood from her head.
"Guys, let's be bad for business" Mide said.

Chapter 72

Entering into the War Frame, the following day, Mide entered into his car, and ignited it, followed by others, including Tema, who put on her helmet waiting for IV to enter his car.
Hardys ran up to IV few distance before IV's car.
"What's up with the girl, I was thinking of talking to her" Hardys said, using his tongue to rub against his lips.
"Hey, dude" IV said in shock.
"Joking, we've seen the way you look at her, shoot your shot man" Hardys and raised his hands up to Sen, who also raised his up.

Getting to the track, Tasha alighted her car and entered into Mide's and closed the door.
"What are you doing? " Mide asked surprised.
"Riding with you, what else? " Tasha replied and made herself comfortable
Mide mumbled and clicked his tongue against the upper part of his mouth, and moved on track, as the announcement was made.
At the sound of the gun, all cars accelerated into the track, hitting against themselves.
Mide held tight to the gear and watched as all cars raced forward, which now made him last on the track.
"Why are you not moving? " Tasha asked confused.
"For every game, there is always a glitch, always a bug, and always a slight mistake, I'm looking for the mistake on this " Mide said, and pressed the throttle of the car, making it give a thick mechanical sound.
VROOM! VROOOM!! Mide stepped on it and observed the track closely, the something on the wall caught his attention.
He turned his car, facing the wall, and stepped on the throttle, and dimmed his eyes.
"That's a wall" Tasha said, pointing it out.
"That's a disguise " Made replied and pushed the gear forward.
Suddenly the car entered into the wall, coming out directly under the main track.
"Jeez" Tasha said with surprise "have I ever told you, I loved you"
"I was hoping for the day, you would say so" Mide said, as he increased the speed, overtaking other cars, from beneath.

Getting to the volcano part, Mide pushed the gear to the highest, increasing the speed, before getting there, the volcano died down, passing the part, Mide's car went up, coming out from the other side of the broken track already leaving the volcano behind.
Tema held to the brakes and brought her bike to a stop, seeing Mide's car on the other side.
Sen also stopped beside her and rolled down his window.
"Dude is crazy" Sen said and pushed the gear to reverse.

Mide drive his car, into a huge hall, and stopped before a round wide table, and alighted the car, alongside Tasha, they both got closer to the table, and at the edge, was a square shiny metal.
Mide reached out for it, which was the second among the third parts to be combined.
He smiled at Tasha, and dipped the metal into his pocket and returned to his car.

Tema cleared her throat, drawing everyone's attention, while they were busy celebrating the victory.
"Huhhm, am going already" She said and made to take her leave.
IV suddenly went cold, with a sad countenance on him, but he tried as hard as he could to hide it.
Tasha got a glimpse at IV and could read his emotions well.
"Tema" Tasha called out and dropped her drink on the table "If we will win, we need all hands on deck, and apart from that, am tired of being the only lady among this monsters"
Tema eyes, got filled with tears, trying hard to fight it off, she sniffed, and looked down.
"Welcome to the family" Mide said.
"Welcome to the family" other chorused and raised their drinks up.
IV smiled and looked at Tasha, who winked back at him.
Tema brought out the first piece from her pocket and gave it to Mide.
"Let's start from here" She said.
Tasha walked out of the room, while IV followed her outside.
"Thank you " IV said smiling shyly.
"Alright, am the hero, I know, just don't screw up"

Chapter 71

Chapter 69
Mide paced round the room, as, IV held the girl and Hardys holding Tasha by the arm.
"Hey, babe, take it easy" IV said pulling the girl backward as she attempted to hit Tasha.
"Am not your babe, I'm Tema " the girl grunted, as she tried to free herself

"Enough, both of you, we pleaded you to come, so we could settle things, and you still want to fight, do you think you can handle Tasha all by yourself " Sen shouted angrily, and threw a can against the floor.
Silence fell on everyone, except Tasha and Tema, who grunted annoyingly.
"He saved you from death and all you could do is slap him in return, all because you scrap motor bike was damaged " Sen shouted again.
"Sen" Mide said softly and signalled him to calm down.
"Now, all you want back is your bike" Mide said looking at Tema.
"Sure, it does not belong to me, I took it on lease, from the mechanic frame" Tema replied, and freed herself from IV's grip.
"lease" Sen scoffed and leaned on the wall.
"I'll pay and we could build a from the scrap for her, as we did to ours "
All eyes fell on IV, surprised at the decision of paying for the damaged bike, being suddenly nice.
"Let's go" IV said and pulled Tema by the arm.
"Wierd" Hardys said and patted Tasha on the arm.
"Next time, remove her teeth" He said and grabbed the towel on the table.
"Tomorrow, is the next entry, we have to cross check our cars and probably add some upgrade" Hardys said and walked out to the garage.

IV drove his car into the mechanic workshop where Tema had collected the bike on lease. Tema alighted first, and tapped on the body of a car.
The man who was busy joining metal together, looked towards the direction where the to had come from and removed his google from his eyes, and suspended the work.
"You" The man said as he got nearer "you've come to return the bike? "
"Huhh, no, we came to pay for it, it got damaged" IV replied, with a smile "and all to get part too"
The man grumbled and reluctantly, soon transaction was made, and IV loaded up the parts in the booth of his car.

Stucked in traffic, in decided to strike a conversation with Tema.
"From here, where will you go next? "
Tema sniffed looking out through the window.
"I don't know, probably I might not be so lucky to be saved again" Tema replied calmly still looking out through the window.
"I could talk with my friends, they'll allow you be with us"
"Am not interested, especially if that brat will be there"
IV gulped and moved the gear, once the road was clear

Tasha grunted as she used a spanner to tighten a bolt, in the front booth of her car, sitting on the frame, while on her right, Mide was adding more upgrade to the guns on his car and adding extra nitro boost.
Sen and Hardys helping each other out on their cars simultaneously.

Just then IV drove in, Mide removed the workshop glove in his hands and watched as IV and Tema alighted the car.
"Hey" Hardys greeted and walked to the booth, followed by Tema and began bringing down the parts.
Laying them on the assemble table, Tema returned to the booth to bring out the last part, lifting it with all her strength, as she walked pass Tasha, her hands slipped off from its grip.
Before it could crash on Tema's leg, Tasha quickly caught it.
Tema sighed with relief, and looked at Tasha with a little surprise.
"Thank you " Tema said with a bright smile on her face.
"You're welcome" Tasha said and easily handed it over to Tema.
Mide and others quickly looked away, pretending not to see what happened.

After hours of selling and upgrading, Tasha coughed and cleaned sweat off from her face, just then Mide handed her a glass of water.
After gulping the content, Tasha sighed and kissed him on the lips.
Tema saw them and whispered to IV, who was now working on the head light of the bike.
"Is that her boyfriend? "
"Yeah" IV grunted and clipped the headlight.
"Huhn "
IV looked up at Tema, both them staring at each other.
"It's ready" IV finally said and looked away.

Chapter 68
Team Fleet, drove in their all round hard metallic sport car, into the track, among hundreds of other cars, with TEAM FLEET customized on the bonnet of the cars.
Mide alighted his car, alongside his friends, since it wasn't time yet for the race.
They all leaned on Mide's race car, talking and making themselves happy.
IV spotted the girl which they had saved, entering into the track on her reshaped powerbike and ran up to her.
"Hey, what's up? " He asked smiling.
The girl, halted her bike, and gave IV a straight face.
"Just wanted to say hi, and huhh "
"All racers should take thier mark" a voice came from the mega speakers in the race ground.
"Catch you later" IV said and ran back to his car.
"Alright guys, let's do this" Mide said and shaked IV, before entering into his car.

At the sound of the gun, all cars, started moving.
Mide heaved and pushed the gear, he looked through the window, and got glimpse of Tasha, who was really focused on the steering.
Mide punched the turbo button in his car, and gained extra boost, as he held tight to the steering and overtaking cars, a huge monster crush, hit Mide's car hard, sending him off, as he crashed with another car, which easily broke into pieces, and got other cars, which was on high speed, tumbling over
Mide groaned and rolled the steering opposite direction as his car, almost lost control.
"Haaaa" Mide shouted and pulled down a lever behind the steering, and from the bonnet of car came out a rocked launcher and a two Gatling guns by the side.
"See you in hell" Mide said and flipped a button down, which triggered out a rocket from the barrel and hit the monster truck, and on impact, the car went up in flames, and flew into the air.
Mide pushed the gear forward, and drove pass, before the car could return to ground, immediately he went through, the car fell on the one that followed Mide.

IV stepped on brakes, as a car attempted to ramp him to the wall, and a car collided from the back, sending the car, halfway up.
"Christ" IV shouted and pushed the gear forward, finding his way through.

Sen watched as his speed limit increased, looking through the rear mirror, he saw the car which was giving him a hot pursuit, as it brought out a launcher at the top of it.
Sen watched closely and held tight to the steering.
Immediately the rocket was launched from the car behind, Sen pulled the handbrake of his car, and swayed the steering, gritting his teeth.
The rocket passed closely by the booth of his car, with his car, dragging sideways, Sen pulled out his gun, and stretched his hand out of the window, facing directly the windscreen of his opponent's car, Sen pulled the trigger, the bullet finding a good spot on the head of the driver, and he lost control.
"I love this" Sen said and turned his car on the right direction.

Hardys, easily and expertly drove his car dodging other cars and taking the lead, he pressed a button on the steering and from the exhaust of his car, huge spikes began to drop from it, catching those behind him unaware, as it punctured their tyres and made them lose control, as their fell on each other.
"Bomb"

Tasha saw the spikes and cursed beneath her breath, and raised her hands up, pulling down few levers, a huge magnet came down in the middle of both front tires, pulling the spikes to it and attracting them.
Tasha pushed another button, which made the magnet move beneath the car, to the back and all spikes fell from it, making another terrible crash behind her.

Mide focused on the long track before him, as he took the lead, and suddenly some few meters before him, the track broke apart. Mide quickly stepped on the brakes, resulting to rise of smoke from the tyres.
A car moved at top speed past him, on getting to the edge, the car flew into the air, almost getting to the other part of the track, a huge volcano erupted, and burnt the car into ash.
"It's impossible to go through" Mide said and quickly cane out of his car, and again another driver tried to get past and met same fate.
Mide climbed on his car and waved his hands signalling others especially his team mates to halt.

The girl from the forest, whom they saved, scoffed seeing Mide ahead.
"Coward " She said and raised the head of the top of her power bike, and rode her bike on the wall.
Mide looked at the broken road, and saw the wall had tiny flame spike on it, as the girl got nearer, Mide dived from the top of his car and pushed the girl off from her bike.
The bike moved into the spike and got shattered into pieces and went up in ash.
"I could handle that" The girl said and slapped Mide on the face.

Tasha stepped on brakes beside Mide's car, alighted and without thinking twice gave the girl a punch in the face.

Chapter 69

Entering into War Frame, Mide met Hardys, arranging his guns, and neatly placing them on the table beside him.
"Dude, you look kind-of " Hardys said and continued with the arrangement.
"Where is Sen and IV? " Mide asked, leaning slightly on the table.
"They went to the library, to get more info about the other parts, to get the next lead".
Just then both IV and Sen walked in, after few seconds, Tasha spawned into War Frame.
"Alright, so the next part won't be on any hunt, it's a challenge" Sen said and clapped his hands.
"What kind of challenge? " Hardys asked and cocked the gun.
"We are going to be playing a game in a game, it's a race" Sen said, and smiled.
"That's my specialty baby" IV shouted.
"So the game runs up everyday, until anyone wins and gets the missing part, here are replays from previous attempts" Sen said and snapped his right fingers, and instantly a blue light beamed out from his hand, showing how cars tumbled upside down and different kinds of traps laid down, and how racers bailed on themselves.
"We can do this guys" Mide said and raised up his hands.
"Team Fleet " Sen shouted.
"Fleet? " Tasha asked with a disgusted face.
"Yeah, fleet,, other peeps out there has team name" Sen said.
"It's that the best you could come up with? " IV asked.
"Hugh, well, it's something "
"Let's suit up guys" Mide said and jammed his fist together.

Double D entered into Iron sanctuary, walking with all agility, anyone could tell, he was burning with rage, seeing Tasha at the gate, he walked up to her.
"He came for black market, my source told me so"
Double D, smacked his fist against the Gate of Iron sanctuary, boring a hole into the gate, he screamerd loud, everyone's attention turned to him.
"He is with Dannegro "
Hearing that name, Double D, brought out his air slasher and headed towards Dannegro's lair. Getting to the gate, he pushed the guard aside and walked in.
Seeing Lyta from afar, Double D, stretched out his sword and dashed at Lyta.
Double D, suddenly saw himself flying distance backward, as something heavy and stronger crashed against him.
Falling hard to the ground, he coughed and picked his sword and slowly stood up. He turned around and saw Lyta in his humanbot form, having a shield and a club in his hands.
"The caterpillar " Double D muttered,
So this was what Lyta came for, how he wished, he had kept the shield and club, instead of exchanging it for money, with Dannegro. Double D knew with what Lyta possessed, it was impossible for him to defeat Lyta, and worse, Lyta had a swift metal gear.
Double D, groaned and used his sword to draw a line on the ground.
"I'll be back" He said and summoned out his dragon mount and flew away.

Tasha watched as Mide angrily scattered his room, in Arrow of God, considering the fact that he had to shy away from a fight, and not just anybody, Lyta among all men.
"Arrgggghhhh"
Queenie entered into the room and luckily, an iron ball missed her head.
"Hey, calm down, you are now paying for your ignorance, when you had the chance you misused it, now he is stronger than you, deal with that " Queenie said and walked out of the room.

Mide flew his mount after the boy, and steadily began catching up with him, he brought out his air slasher, and stretched it out, as he got nearer.
Mide got closer and jumped on the boy's bat mount and slapped him on the head.
"Am sorry, big brother " the boy shouted as Mide slapped his back head and also used the side of his air slasher to spank his butt.
Mide pulled him off the bat mount, and they fell from the height.
The boy screamed with fear written all over his body, he threw the meat bag to the away. As they fell, Mide still slapped him on the head, before they touched down, Mide summoned his dragon mount, holding the boy by the trouser.
"Big brother, forgive me, I'll do whatever you want, big brother am sorry"
Mide threw him on the rock, and slapped him on the face.
The boy laid flat on the ground, and was sobbing hard.
"What do you know about this place? "
"Big brother, all I know is, it's called Croc swamp, and also home of dark metal cobras"
Mide raised the boy up and summoned out his dragon mount and pulled the boy on it.
"Take me there"
Mide landed his dragon mount on a tree, with a very wide top, and summoned it back, looking below, was hundreds of metal crocodiles inside a very clear river.
He brought out his lite bow, and fired at one, only for the arrow to break into pieces.
Mide's comlink bleeped, and the message popped up.
"Lyta spotted in iron sanctuary: From Tasha " Mide quickly summoned out his dragon beast.
"Brother, thanks for sparing me" the boy shouted as Mide, dived his beast into the sky.

The dark figure leaped from one roof top to another, as rapid gun fire came at it. The five gunmen turned their backs at each other, being alert, with their guns pointing to the roof top.
"It's Waziri again, this guy is getting on my nerves, don't spare him this time" the boss shouted angrily.
Waziri, known by both old and young, far and wide, was a dreadful name especially to Drug Lords, Criminals, Terrorist, Armed robbers, criminals, kidnappers and all evil doers.
As much as the NPF loved him doing their jobs, he was still wanted on the criminal list, for killing and taking law to his hands, against criminals.
A baton rolled out in the air, from a corner among the building and hit one on the face, which sent him unconscious to the ground.
The dark figure, blending perfectly with the night, it launched a blow at another and immediately disappeared again.

"Oga Abbey, you Neva pay for yesterday money o" the pot bellied attendant said, and pulled out two filled bottle of beer from the crate beside him.
"Uche, I go pay, first serve me" Abbey replied and held one bottle under his armpit and struggled to get the next one open.
Uche only made a funny face and focused on the news.
"They for just allow this guy do im job o, as dem police dey fear to fight thug" Uche said, passing comment only to himself.
Uche was a successful bar man, he owned his own business, which was a full time alcohol seller, and that had seen him through lot of profit. His bar, was a classic one, with chairs neatly arranged round a table, and having about twenty of it in his bar, he also had those who worked for him, about four of them, all girls.
The bar attendant post, directly faced the entrance of the building, while the television was inches aside from the reception stand.
Abbey staggered to his seat and placed a bottle in his mouth, gulping down the content, and bealched out loudly, which got other customers complaining.
After being through with the first bottle, Abbey, gently laid it on the ground, and stood up, with the second beer bottle and staggered out of the bar.
As Abbey opened the door and got out of the bar, he collided with a group of boys, and vomited on someone's trouser.
"Am sor….rrry" Abbey said and began to stagger away.
"Sky, sky, una dey look me, see as this guy baff me na" The one from whom Abbey vomited on shouted in annoyance.
Abbey ignored the words and continued to walk on, soliloquising to himself, and constantly supporting himself with close objects.
Someone tapped him from behind, Abbey let out a hiccup from his mouth and turned around, facing the group of boys he had collided with.
Before he could utter a word, one LG the boys pushed him hard on the chest, which made Abbey fall hard to the ground, and the bottle of beer, fell from his hand broke into pieces.
Passerby only walked as fast as their legs could carry them, they knew these boys to be notorious and their brawl always come out bloody. Abbey stood to his feet, with the aid of a dustbin beside him.
"Please everyone should go" Abbey said and wriggled his mouth and used his hands to imitate his words.
The boys five in numbers, all laughed at Abbey and was even glad they had seen someone to make an example, to people who still see them as just ordinary gang members.
One of the boys attempted a blow at Abbey's face, which Abbey dodged by tilting his head around.
"You dey form abi? " one shouted and grabbed a stick from the ground and swayed it at Abbey.
Abbey quickly placed his arm up, using it guide his head, as the stick strikes him. He staggered backward and supported himself against an electric pole, the one with the stick, attempted another strike, and with ease Abbey grabbed ghetto stick from him and smacked it know his head. Abbey walked towards the boy and slammed his face against the electric pole, he bent down dodging the blow that came at him, grabbed the arm and twisted in backward, and with force, Abbey pulled the arm up and broke it, revealing the bones.
The boy shouted in agony, as Abbey pushed him to the ground, another boy brought out a knife from his back pocket and made to drive it into Abbey's stomach, but seemed to slow, as Abbey moved his body aside and used his elbow the hit on the boys head, and at the same time, grabbed the boy's hand, and knocked off the knife from his hand, and forcefully pulled the wrist, breaking it.
The police siren, began blaring from distance and quickly the remaining boys took to their heels, leaving their injured member to their fate.
The police van got nearer and two police officers jumped down the Hilux van, and ran up to Abbey, while another checked on the boys and helped them into the van, while Abbey was handcuffed and bundled into the backseat of the van.

Mide settle his mount on a rock, which seemed to be the only solid part in the dark forest, behind him and beyond was a swap ground, then before him was a river of clean and clear water, with metal fish in it, apart from the rock being the only solid place, there were trees also, which were dark and firmly rooted.
Mide looked around, thinking of what next to do, suddenly the water, rippled, he looked at the river and saw all the fishes swimming fast in different direction like something was coming for them.
Mide saw a fish suddenly disappeared, and then another again, he looked closer at the river and noticed something was moving, chasing after the fishes, the movement of the water could tell something was there, only it was invisible.
Mide brought out his life now, and pulled the string, watching the movement in the water and released the string.
The arrow made contact with the invisible image and bounced off, Mide watched as the water made loud noise and large ripples.
Mide pulled the string again and shot at the image.
"Golden scissors fish killed, two metal gears gained, no metal point received, no metal geno gained "
Mide felt glad on hearing the voice, just then a golden color fish, floated on the surface of the water, Mide bent down to retrieve the fish from the water, doing his hand in it, something bit him in the water, and he quickly brought out his hand, along with the fish.
He groaned in pain, looking at the deep cut in his hand.
"Stupid scissors fish"
It was then it dawned on Mide the golden scissors fish was not invisible, they only blended with the color of the water, how only he wished it would be easy to hunt down the sacred king.
He pulled the string and fired rapid shots into the river.

The voice came repeatedly in his head.
Mide managed to bring out forty golden fishes from the river, and ate seven, gave four to Wicked and kept the rest, to be sold in market.

A huge bat flew towards Mide, as it got nearer, Mide at first thought it was a kill, then he saw someone on it and he released the string of his bow.
"Hey, who dares enter into my own forest" The boy shouted.
Mide kept mute as he studied the boy, who was without any cloth, only his black tattered trousers.
"You also killed my golden fish" The boy shouted and in one swift dive, the boy grabbed the sack which Mide kept the fish in and dived back into the sky.
"Thank you for this, ahhhahhh, catch me of you can, I have long wished to get a golden fish and here more than two dozens " The boy shouted with joy as his bat mount flew higher into the sky.
"In your life, you will never repeat what you just did" Mide said and summoned out his dragon of fire mount.

The dark figure leaped from one roof top to another, as rapid gun fire came at it. The five gunmen turned their backs at each other, being alert, with their guns pointing to the roof top.
"It's Waziri again, this guy is getting on my nerves, don't spare him this time" the boss shouted angrily.
Waziri, known by both old and young, far and wide, was a dreadful name especially to Drug Lords, Criminals, Terrorist, Armed robbers, criminals, kidnappers and all evil doers.
As much as the NPF loved him doing their jobs, he was still wanted on the criminal list, for killing and taking law to his hands, against criminals.
A baton rolled out in the air, from a corner among the building and hit one on the face, which sent him unconscious to the ground.
The dark figure, blending perfectly with the night, it launched a blow at another and immediately disappeared again.

Chapter One



#Anticipate
#Next Year's Hit

Damilola went into the school locker room, among others and changed into the goalkeeper's jersey, while others were chatting among themselves, he got changed and went back to the field.
The school field, which was another land entire, located at the back of the school, was wide enough to accommodate, all eleven players on both sides, and even more, the spectator's stand could also accommodate about a hundred pupils.

The full team players on both sides, came out while Damilola's teammates were dressed in white Jersey top and black shorts, the others were dressed in both red Jersey top and short.
The selection process, was to select the School's senior team, since their former players would be preparing for their final exams.
Martha ran into the field and headed for Damilola who was standing by the left pole.
"I placed you on number 7, why are you here? " She questioned, going through the jotter with her.
"I never wanted this on the first place, you persuaded me to, I like it here" Damilola replied angrily.
"Martha, Oya gbeff comot oo" The referee shouted and blew his whistles loudly at her.
Martha sneezed, and raised her head up, and smiled at Damilola before running off the field.
The game immediately began, with the opposition, taking the first pass, cheering from the crowd and beating of the drum only made Damilola more tensed amd nervous, the opposition easily breaking the midfield and giving successful and brilliant passes, till the broke the defense, the last defender, ran forward in the box eighteen and gave a slide tackle, but the one with the ball, stopped the ball, and passed it to his team mate who ran up to him, the boy used all him power, and gave the ball a fierce hit, which sent it to the top right corner of the goal post.
Damilola dived after the ball, using the last tip of his fingers to push the ball over the net to a corner.
Everybody went wild, with happiness, at the brilliant save from Damilola. Two of his team mates ran up to him and rubbed his head, while others gave him a brief handshake, and each manning their opposition in the box for the corner kick.
The kick came, and Damilola dived into the air, and grabbed the ball before anyone could go for a header, and Del on his side to the ground, covering the ball with his body.
Martha shouted with joy from where she was, and ran in different direction, the teachers gave a loud applaud to Damilola, seeing the raw talent he possessed.

The half time came to an end, each team going out of the field for a brief rest, with the score board still being nil on both side, but the possession and ball on target wasn't in favour of Damilola's team.
While a teacher was giving them a brief talk and adjustment tactics, Damilola knew what the teacher was saying was totally wrong. Damilola raised up his hand, and spoke when the teacher told him to proceed.
"The problem is not with the defense, it's the formation, Simon and Jesse, are much huge than thier defense, an added advantage if they are put on top strike, with five midfielders, and three defenders" Damilola said, and caught everyone by surprise.
The school ghost was actually a geni, with father argument, the adjustment Damilola made was implemented.
The second half really was in favour of the Damilola's team, as their opponents found it difficult to break through the midfield, which frustrated them and made them resort to an outside strike, which Damilola made sure he caught them, and gave a pass to the nearest man, so the ball could be arranged.
In the seventy eight minute, Damilola's team threw in the first goal, and in ten minutes from then, another one went in again, using the advantage of their opponents tiredness.

The fans ran into the field, and ran towards Damilola and lifted him high into the air, Damilola in his entire life, till then, hasn't felt such love, for the first time, he had a smile on his face.
The principal, mounted the podium, and gave a speech commending both teams, and their efforts, and another series on praise on Damilola
"The man of the match award goes to our able goalie, and also we would like to tell you our first senior eleven has being Choosen, Damilola's team, are all chosen, with him being the captain, that's a special offer from the game master" The principal said and when he was through he alighted the podium and everyone disbanded and back to other school activities.

Mide sat on his seat, and was surprised Martha was the one who had her desk next to him, soon everyone gathered around him, which made him lively, he felt like something was filled in him, well no one knew he could relate well, with great humor.
Martha sat on her seat and hit Damilola on the arm.
"And they perfectly fit each other" A girl said, which threw everyone into laughter.

Chapter 63
Mide under the water was already running out of air, channeling the Darkwar, which was what now kept him going, and it was rapidly exhausting his strength.
"Dannegro, this is twenty minutes gone, the beast does not seems to wake anytime soon"
The beast, rolled on its side and crawled towards the pond, and filled it's mouth in it, just a little further was what Mide needed to strike, the beast now had almost it's full head across the water.
Mide summouned out his level ten sword, using the air slasher was not an option, although it would give more damage, but all the better, he was on a level 30 ground which means it could be more.
He waited for the perfect chance to strike, seeing the soft spot under the caterpillar, he strikes his sword right into the belly of the beast.
The beast growled in agony and raised its upper body up and slammed itself on the pond, the force throwing Mide out of the water.
The caterpillar, rolled itself up, but found it difficult since the sword was stuck in its belly, cooling halfway, it rolled itself tiwowards Mide direction.
One of Dannegro's men, brought out his gun to shot at the beast, so as to divert it's attention away from Mide, before he could aim, Dannegro pointed a gun to his head and signalled him to withhold his attack.
Mide leaped to safety, as the beast collided with the wall. The beast angrily rolled itself out of the cave, and Dannegro and his men, ran after it.
They returned after a while, empty handed and since the beast left no trail for them to follow, they decided to return home.
Getting back to the top of the mountain, they summouned out their mount, prepared to leave, just then, Mide heard a voice within him

"Metal shield demon gained, metal club gained, no metal point received, no metal geno gained, no Metal Gear received "
"The beast is dead" Mide announced, and Dannegro stepped forward.
"Give me the gears" Dannegro said with greed.
"Until you pay me, or I'll keep it to myself and sell it"
"What if I kill you and get it for myself? "
Mide smiled in return
"Fear a dude that went up against Lord Gitana and survived, without a heart" Mide said and pointed to his chest
Everyone kept mute, when someone came into iron sanctuary to tell them, a lad fought against Lord Gitana and survived no one believed
"Send be your account details"
After the successful transaction, Mide summouned out the shield and the club.
It also had a shiny back like that of the beast, the shied which was out of taste for Mide, since it looked to bulky and it would slow down ones movement and the club wasn't his choice of weapon, he handed them over to Dannegro, who was really pleased.

Getting back to the sanctuary, Mide immediately turned around and headed for the dark forest, exploring strange places means getting strange metal meats.

Chapter 64

Chapter 62
Mide exited the war frame, leaving his friends behind, Wicked had ran out of food supply, and it had to be refilled. Getting to iron sanctuary, he went to the sanctuary gate, to proceed into the plain and find a scared metal.
"Mide" Someone shouted from behind, which made him halted before he walked out of the gate.
"We've been looking for you, for days, almost after the day you sent Iron Clan off" The boy said.
"Sorry, I'm Dannegro's right hand, and he needs your attention" the boy said calmly
"I'm going for a hunt" I'll get back to him, when am done.
"Please Mide, please I beg you " The boy pleaded.

Mide was made comfortable, sitting on an executive comfort cushion, fully relaxed and helped himself and Wicked to the Metal meat that was served.
"Five metal point gained" Mide heard the voice and was surprised at what kind of meat it was.
Mide heard footstep approaching from the door that was by the right and adjusted himself.
A fair lanky man, around his late twenties or early thirty, walked in, dressed in a white plain shirt and a black pair of pant, walked in, he had the kind of look which Mide thought to be kind of odd, white white tinted hairs.
"Am glad you honored my call, I'm Dannegro " the man said.
Well this person was the complete opposite of the Dannegro people talked about, the way he was portrayed was like that of an ancient warlords, with heavy artillery.
"So, we waited patiently for you, before we could proceed on the hunt, I have heard great stories of your perfect aim, almost as close to Double D, so are you in?"
"You need to brief me about the hunt, and what my gain is"
"It's a Metal Caterpillar, it has the hardest metal ever, only the under can be pierced" Dannegro said.
"30 million, and if we kill it, we shall share the meat accordingly, if the mission fails, you'll pay me 10 million" Mide said and watched Dannegro's reaction.
"Deal" Dannegro said and led Mide outside.

Setting out to the North, Mide summouned out his dragon Fury mount and followed in the sky behind Dannegro's troop, who all had a Komodo Dragon mount, while Mide's mount had wings and tail, the others were were just a long lizard like, with him wings, just four hinds, two at the front and another two behind.
They flew over a vast dark forest, which looked dead from above, Mide encounter hasn't led him to this part of Sanctuary. After hours of flying, they landed on the top of a mountain, among others, the location was very strange, this part were mostly of tall mountains, walking on foot, could be stressful, since the structure looked like a maze from above and on foot, one could be moving in circles.
They proceeded to climbing down the mountain, to an opening on it, Dannegro, entered first into the cave, followed by Mide, Dannegro transformed into his humanbot, which was the complete opposite of his structure, the humanbot, possessed a thick full beard, with eyes glowing red, huge arms and body structure, and a huge Double edged sword with him, which also had a barrel at the tip.
The moved carefully along the wall of the cave, and crawled their way, and leaned against a wall, while laying on the ground.
They all peeped, and saw a pond down from where they were.
"The beast, goes out to eat, termite metals and come back here to drink, then sleep, and continues its hunt the next day, the plan is, you will have to his inside the pond, when it comes to drink, you'll strike it from beneath" Dannegro said.
Just then they cave began to shake, as something rolled, coming towards their direction.
"It's coming quick"
Mide jumped down from the height where the hid and ran into the water and made himself sink in.
A round ball, rolled furiously to the pond and unfolded itself, turning into a very long caterpillar with shiny back.
The beast neared the water and was about drinking, but decided to take a short nap first, it's walked backward and laid on its side, with the shiny part facing the pond.
"Hoe long can the boy stay underwater, seems the beast is going to nap first, which means twenty minutes plus" Someone from the troop whispered silently to Dannegro
Chapter 63

Chapter 61
Mide opened the door to the new cabin house they acquired in the war frame, for the sole purpose of stashing their ammunition, the cabin house was located deep in the woods, far from city. He sat comfortable on one of the chars, as others found places to keep their properties.

A loud voice suddenly echoed from above and they all stood up quickly and walked out everyone looking at the sky.
"Welcome avatars, officially to the War Frame, it's fun, it's death, it's friendly, it's deadly, it's survival, the swiftness machine has been eliminated, this bringing and evolving into War Frame, there is a everyday challenge, there is weekly hunt, there is monthly contest and finally yearly heroes, but just one thing can Wow our soul, which is, find the Sacred Flame, it's here somewhere, there are leads, starting from the library, there are hints around, sieze your glory" the voice said and faded.
A scream came from a part in the woods, which got all their attention, IV moved forward, noticing heavy footstep approaching, Mide retrieved his pistol from his belt where he hid it and steadily aimed at the direction.
A girl suddenly ran out from the woods, towards their direction
"Run" She shouted, waving her hands at them, and ran past them.
They all looked lost especially Tasha who could make sense out of what was happening, just then a loud roar came, and follows next by a huge beast which ran widely on six hind legs.
Everyone quickly dived to safety, Mide quickly stood up and shot at the beast, which now turned to him, and growled, with its mouth drooling.
Mide studied it carefully and saw it had six eyes also, three in both sides. Mide moved back carefully as the beast also proceeded with care.
IV ran out of the cabin, with an AK47 rifle in his hand, he loaded the cartridge and fired at the beast, and began advancing, as the beast was forced to move back. Soon he was out of bullet and reached out for another cartridge, before he could loud it finish, the beast jumped on him, and pinned him to the ground, it growled angrily and made to bite IV on the face, iV quickly placed the gun inbetween the teeth and held tight to it.
Mide retrieved his dagger and jumped on the beast back and drove the dagger into its eye, the beast growled in pain, and tried throwing Mide off, Mide removed the dagger and drove it into the second eye, and then the third, and at that, the beast fell lifeless to the ground, and in returned, coins came out of it and entered into Mide.
"This leave is worse than the Sanctuary " Hardys said and helped IV up.
The girl came out from hiding with a smile on her face.
"Thank you all" The girl said and dipped her hand into the anuss of the beast, which placed an irritated look on everyone's face.
"What's that for " Tasha asked.
"This" the girl said grunting and continued "is the first piece of lead to the Sacred Flame, two more piece to join together and get the lead" The girl said and brought out a piece of note from the beast.
According to what I read in the library, two more parts, when you place them together, they join and gives you the next clue" The girl said and used a leaf to wipe her hands.

"That's cool, so you went after this beast with no ammunition, what do you expect from the next one" IV asked.
"Well, coins are kinda hard to get, I hope to come across, even just a pistol" The girl replied and began to walk off.
"Hey, you can actually stay with us" IV said.
"I'm sorry I work alone" The girl replied and disappeared into thine air.

Chapter 62

The following week, Damilola got dressed up as usual, luckily this morning, everywhere was calm and his father proving unnecessary niceness to his mother, ever since she had been discharge from the hospital.
Damilola headed straight to the dining table and sat to eat his breakfast before he left for school.
"Dammy" His father called at him and beckoned him to come over to the living room.
Damilola quickly suspended what he was doing and walked to the living room, his mother was seated on one of the three sisters, having her band aid leg, on the table, while his father stood before her.
"I'll be away for days, probably months, police business, and I want you to take real good of your mom" John said and patted Damilola on the shoulder calmly.
"Yes dad" Damilola replied coldly.
His father sighed, he knew, he was emotionally far from his son, while he was busy taking care of his said business, but all the way, he son was suppose to be a man.
"We will talk when I get back "

Mide entered into the classroom, this time, he came early which came as a surprise to majority of the classroom, getting to where his desk was, he noticed a strange desk beside him, since it affected him in no way, he passed through and sat on his chair, and hanged his school bag on the chair.
Martha ran into the classroom and banged her hands on the desk be fo reach her drawing everyone's attention.
"Ahaha, Wetyn happen? " the girl who owned the desk shouted angrily.
Martha looked at her and returned her attention back to the entire class.
"I already sort out the football class list, and I have your names, and the squad is complete, preliminary test will begin in about twenty minutes " Martha said and opened the note book on her hand.
"James Folawe, Ayorinde Babs, Itunu Arogundade, Uche Miracle, Samuel Eze...." She called in as excitement was boldly written on everyone's face.
".....and Anibijuwon Damilola Dray" Martha called out the last name
Damilola raised up his head in shock and stared at Martha, who only smiled and walked out of the class.
"I no go gree o, which levels na " A lanky boy shouted and banged his hands on the table loudly.
"How ghost go dey the list, and I am being exempted" The boy said in disapproval and ran out of the class after Martha.
The electric bell rang, and instantly, everyone began walking out of the class, right to the football field

Chapter 60
Running amidst the blast and severe gunfire, IV and others were determined not to stop, A jeep, roughly drove before them, and IV aimed at the driver and pulled the trigger, the jeep swayed from left to right, and crashed against a burnt tanker. IV took cover among burnt cars and advanced towards the jeep, as he got there, he opened the door and pulled the driver out, just then a bullet missed his head and bore a hole on the door of the car. IV rolled over and slid on the bonnet of the car to the other side, he peeped slowly and saw three men, fully armed coming towards him, probably also to hijack the jeep.
He heard gunshot and looked up, and was glad, Sen brought all three down, Sen grabbed their guns and hand gloves and Wore it on himself. IV quickly ignited the car, while Sen jumped on the back of the jeep. On reversed the jeep, back to where Hardys and Tasha waited for him.
Tasha entered into the available front seat, while Hardys jumped at the back, and passed a gun to Tasha.
IV stepped on the accelerator and drove right in front of the battle field, swaying the steering from left to the right, dodging incoming bomb attack, as it raised sand into the air.
iV brought out his gun, from the window, while he used his right hand to handle the steering, he pulled the trigger, bringing down opponents before him. Tasha, used her thumb to remove the pin on the grenade and threw it afar off, sending a reasonable amount of people in different directions.
Hardys, cocked his gun and fired to the left, while Sen fired to the right. Getting to the bottom of the silo, IV stepped on the brake and collided with it, just then about seven people fell from it.
"Wait, how about we pull the silo to the ground" Tasha said and fired.
IV reversed the car to a reasonable distance and stepped on the accelerator and rammed the car against the silo, which bent it to the side, they all alighted the car and Tasha threw two grenade at the bottom of the silo, and they all moved back.
The blast sent off the silo, and made it bent more to the side, and it began to fall on it side
Hardys, quickly took to his heel, so by the time the silo would be completely down, he would immediately Retrive the lion heart. Halfway, someone suddenly dived in him from nowhere and smacked a fist in Hardys face. IV and ran forward and jumped over Hardys and his contender and looked up, as the silo was coming down, a bullet came at his arm, he groaned and saw the person on the far left and shot h on the middle of the head, the silo touched ground, finally, sending shock wave around and sand into the air.
IV tumbled due to the shock of the silo, he was already about six feet away from the lion heart, just then someone picked it up. R
Tasha out of nowhere jumped on the back of the person, and grabbed the lion heart from him. The Man brought put his gun and was about shooting, at that instance, the grenade Tasha hooked on his belt exploded, shattering the man into pieces
"Tasha, exit now " IV said threw his comlink and he also pressed the red but to n on his palm.
They all gasped as the came out of the War Frame. Tasha sat on the ground, and heard with relief seeing the Lion heart in her hand.
"We have to get this to Mide " Hardys said and hurried out of the room followed by others.

Mary smiled at Wonuola and tapped on two balls at a time, giving Wonuola a very large score gap. As soon as the time was over, the whole of Silent Arrow went sold into jubilation and ran into the arena, and with one swift lifted Mary off the ground on their shoulders.
Wonuola angrily walked out of the arena, followed by her clan members.
The Silent Arrow, came out champions in two games, overall of three, the Mac and Swiftness game.

Tasha opened the door that led to Mide's ward and Hardys opened his mouth, while IV dipped the lion heart into his mouth and made him swallow it.
Mide eyes began to glow red, and slowly it died, he sneezed hard and opened his eyes.
"Master" Someone said from the door entrance and everyone looked back only to see the entire Silent Arrow, in the ward.
"We brought the trophies home" Mary said holding two golden trophies in both arm.
Mide heaved weakly and tried smiling.
"Thank you "
Chapter 61

Chapter 59
IV swiftly moved his hands, popping the balls, but he was not fast enough, as Wonuola, was three points ahead, he grinned, struggling to keep, he tried channeling the Darkwar into his body, but it was like he always met a dead end, he concentrated more on in going as fast as he could, the time finally elapsed for the first round.
Wonuola came out of her machine and walked towards IV.
"See you again the in the second round" Wonuola said and walked off.
The Swiftness Company representatives, proceeded to where IV and his friends were, talking on how to win the next two rounds.
"Where is Mide? " The man who showed them around, while they went to the company the previous day asked with concern.
"Struggling for his life, his heart is gone, and we are finding every possible means to get him a lion heart,he has two already" Sen replied.

"Hmm, there is a lion heart in War Frame, but"
Sen and others looked at him with keen interest
"It's a bonus round, team against team, and last statistic showed twenty teams already" the man said.
"We can still make it, get Tasha to met us at home, Mary should continue the Match" IV said and hurried out alongside his friend and the man.
The next round for the swiftness game, started few minutes after they were gone. Mary mounted the podium, with brightness on her face, what she had always wanted.
"They brought a child to an adult game" Wonuola said with disdain.
Mary smiled and ignited her machine.

Tasha opened the door, and saw the other were already in the War Frame, as their body moved around in a static position, while on the threadmill, she quickly climes on Her's and placed the helmet on her head.

"Sorry am late " Tasha's virtual body said as she spawned among them.
Sen pressed a button on his right arm, which brought out a map, before them.
"Alright, somewhere called the Execution ground, that's where the fight for the lion heart is taking place" Sen said.
A fighter plane, flew above them, and suddenly got blast in the air.
"This place is crap" IV said and turned around.
"This is not the Sanctuary, here we can only buy gadgets and we don't even have pin" Tasha said.
"We can get from the war front"

Wonuola screamed in anger, and banged on the machine, and tried focusing again. Mary on the other hand smiled, as she purposely made sure she led Wonuola by just one point and when Wonuola was about taking over, she would increase her pace, which frustrated Wonuola more.

A rocket launcher came at the jeep, which IV and others were, they all dived off, as the rocket blasted off the car.
They All hid behind a building, as sound of gun and bullets were flying from one part to the other,Sen grabbed someone who approached from the exit and snapped his neck, and immediately coins flowed into him, he retrieved the gadgets on the person and threw a gun at IV, and held the pistol to himself, he retrieved Two grenades and threw them at Hardys, while he threw a dagger at Tasha.
"There" Hardys pointed to the tall silo, distance away with ball dining at the top "That's the lion heart"
A helicopter suddenly blast off in the sky, as a rocket launcher came at it.
"At the count of three, we ran for it, bring anyone down" IV said and raised his hands up.

Mary screamed out with joy and stucked a tongue out at Wonuola, who was already vexed.
"That round, you were just lucky" Wonuola said and approached her seat and prepare for the final round.

Chapter 60

Tasha leaned on the glass wall of the life support ward where Mide was admitted and used her palm to wipe her tears off, today was making the second week Mide was on Life Support, and unconscious.
"Still unconscious, if he had not come to free me from Lord Gitana, he would still be alive" Dawn said and trailed her hand on thebglass demarcation, looking at Mide, where he laid, with an oxygen aide to his mouth and different colors of medical wires running through the whole of his body.
"He thinks he has all the solution at hand" Tasha said and pulled Dawn closer.
"Will he come back? "
"He always finds a way" Tasha replied.

IV slumped on the ground, feeling exhausted, while Sen squated beside him and Hardys seated on the ground, all having their white singlets already stained all over.
"You think Mide just got strong overnight" Lin Feng shouted and threw a stick at Hardys.
"Sir, can't we just go after the the metal with the lion heartl and lay it down " Sen asked already exhausted.
Wicked entered in on them with a metal rabbit in its mouth.
"Even that cat is stronger than your legendary TriBot " Lin Feng said and urged them up.
They all grumbled already exhausted, Lin Feng looked at them felt was ev of guilt in him.

The next day was the swiftness competition, with the Green Shadow clan against The Silent Arrow. The hall was filled to the brim, since it was the final round, and more because, it was the first time in history The Silent Arrow would ever get to the final.
"Who will be representing us? " Sen asked looking confused.
IV got up and walked to machine, with Wonuola being his opponent.
"Where is Mide, he is the reason I am here, it's our fight" Wonuola said.
"You should have written him a special invitation letter" IV replied and placed his hands on the green plate "After this match, the swiftness machine will be no more, prepare to lose" IV said again and ignited his machine.
Chapter 59

Mac008 which Mide used, received a heavy blow on the jaw, which made it stagger backward, before his opponent Mac, MacX could attempt another strike, Mac008 rolled over, dodging the attack, seven minutes gone Mac008 had not given any successful attack, which made the match more tensed. MacX approached his heavy attack at Mac008, he brought out his huge electric sword and strikes Mac008 on the back, which made it lay down flat on the ground.
"He is going to kill himself" Tasha said, and gripped Sen's leg tightly. Just then the commentator voice came from the mega speaker.
"Halt, this match has been nullified and canceled, with no further investigation, and with reasonable evidence, the Mac Kings has been disqualified from this match and their group disbanded and considered a threat".
"What's wrong? " Tasha asked confused and seeing IV and Hardys coming from the locker room, alongside a security man.
Hardys winced in pain as IV helped him to the seat.
"They attacked him in the locker room, luckily there was CCTV footage".
The opening lid of Mac008 came open, and Mide weakly came out from it, as he ascended the Mac, he missed a step and rolled off to the ground.
Getting closer to him, he was already unconscious and heating up rapidly, he began gasping for air, which alerted the medics on duty, and quickly they laid Mide on a stretcher and hurried him out.

Chapter 58

Early the next morning, everyone one woke up, to the days job, they Silent Arrow had was to go up against the Mac Kings in a MAc competition, Mide who was the party option the Silent Arrow had was unstable in health, he wouldn't last thirty minutes inside of any Mac, which made the decision much harder for them to take.
Hardys decided he would go first, probably luck would shine on them, which wouldn't involve a substitution, which would be Mide.
They got to the Mac Arena and Hardys went alone into the changing room, to put on the stealth leather for the game.
Getting to the changing, he located the locker meant for him and walked towards it and opened it. Two boys also came in, and took each locker which were opposite Hardys.
Getting him unaware, the boy in the right, smacked a baseball bat on Hardys back. Hardys groaned and fell to his knees, holding tight to his head from the back, one of the boys attempted to hit his leg against Hardys stomach.
Hardys grabbed his leg, with his right hand and pulled the boy off the ground, before he could, give the boy his next attack, the other boy smacked the baseball bat again on Hardys head, which made him instantly unconscious.
After minutes of waiting, without seeing Hardys, IV decided to check on him and know what was making him take long.
IV saw Hardys laying on the ground unconscious and ran out, and alerted the security, which quickly followed him to the locker room.
The representative for Mac Kings got on stage and climbed into his Mac, and ignited the engine.
Mide knew something was wrong and quickly ran into the locker room, where he met, Hardys been attended to, he sighed and changed into the stealth clothing and ran out again.
Tasha blocked him off, he was putting his life on the line. Mide gently moved her aside and approached his own Mac.
Chapter 57

After signing the deal and all was set, pictures taken and all, they ushered Mide and his team into the War Frame. The war frame was rightly about another version of The Sanctuaries. Just that the method of entry was slightly different, entering the sanctuary, you could go with you entire body as a whole, but the war frame would grant you a virtual body, while the real body, moved around and the virtual body would correspond with the real body.
The machine supported only one user, at a time.
Mide felt glad and stepped on treadmill of the War Frame, he pressed a blue button, according to the manual, and dip0ed his hands into a mechanical frame, next he grabbed the helmet before him and placed it on his head, and looked at his friends who also did the same.
"Let's do this" Mide said and punched the blue button.
He felt his soul being sucked away from his body and instantly found himself in another world, one different, much beautiful and welll structured. He looked at himself, and took a step
"Welcome to War Frame, join or build a team, go for conquest, experience real adventure, over throw your enemies, buy power up, get real value for money, above all, find the secret trident and rule this world" Mide heard the voice in his head.
A loud noise came from afar, Mide looked up and saw what seemed like a club and began walking towards it.
"Hey, dude" A car drove by and stopped next to him. "It's party up ahead" the driver said and opened the front seat door for Mide, who quick hopped in.
"Thank you"
The driver suddenly stepped on the break, throwing Mide out from the windscreen.
"Mide, God, you look different in here"
Mide grunted and stood up.
"Sen, you look kinda ugly, how do we come out"
"Press the red button in the center of your right palm" A clear voice said to them.
Mide gasped for breath and quickly removed the helmet on him, and turned around feeling surprised.
"Wow, damn, I love this already" Mide shouted and jumped out of the war frame, and met with his friends, who were also passing positive comments.
"Well gentlemen and lady, that's just the beginning of war frame, look" The organizer said and pointed to a wide screen behind them.
Their activities in the war frame community, Mide felt so real, seeing himself.
"Those are you avatars, the program, automatically selects what your inner man choose" the man said with a broad smile on his face.
"Is that IV? " Hardys shouted, seeing a very huge avatar, with beards all over it's face. "You look like those from stone age" Hardys shouted, and looked also at Tasha's avatar, and grumbled.
"Your avatar looks worse, a pot belly" IV shouted also in return.
"The stomach is just flat, that's all" Hardys replied with a smirk.
"The good news is, the war frame has no age limit, you can also change your looks, like in the real, everything you do here you can do in war frame, smoke, club, and all, and another good news is, you all go home with a war frame each"
IV bent down a little, with his mouth wide opened, he squinted and Tasha and have a loud scream.
"Dude that's what an talking about"

Chapter 54
Mide woke up the next morning, hearing faint noises, then later it all became clear, his room mates, and also Tasha were chatting happily as the play the swiftness game online, breaking top records which placed all of them including Mide on the top ten list, followed by four other members from Silent Arrow.
"Morning " Mide said and sat upright, with a broad smile on his face.
"Good news" Tasha said and jumped down the top bunk and served Mide the tea which she prepared for him.
"Thanks love" Mide said after he gulped down the content in the cup.
"So we got an invitation from the Swiftness Machine Company to act as ambassadors for their product, all five of us" Sen said and bent down, facing his butt at Mide and began to twerk.
"Gross" Mide said squeezing his face and spanked Sen.
"They will be launching their new upgrade next tomorrow, we have to sign the deals today, and having first hand product" IV added and concluded his game.
"They also changed the name to War Frame Mechanism, tagged Seize your Glory" Hardys added, still focusing on his game.
"Since our schedule today is free, let's do business" Mide said and summouned out Wicked and then retrieved the remaining swift Fox metal hunt and threw it at the cat
"I have to go on hunt" Mide said, since the last metal was what he gave to Wicked, although the cat hasn't gotten to its full potential,it proved useful, saved his life, and made his stress less, even though the reason it did all was because of the sacred meat which it ate. An ordinary Sacred pet, would be useless without it feeding on enough scared metal meats.
"You gonna kill yourself " Tasha said and pulled off her top, revealing her brassier which covered only her breast.
"Alright, everyone turn around" IV said and looked the opposite direction.
"Wicked has to eat, even if I, although I can still sustain for five more years" Mide added and admired Tasha's perfect body structure.
She went fully unclad and grabbed Mide's towel where he kept it and walked towards the bathroom.
"Alright, I know, come over" She said waited for Mide to UnCloth also.

Mide was the last to dress up, after going through the numerous cloth he had, and was difficult to pick one. Tasha bent down and picked up a white shirt which had two red stripes on each arm, and also passed him a black trouser, since that was what others wore, except her who had a black gown on.

Using the public transfer machine, they arrived at the cable bus stop and boarded an empty cable bus
"You know, we should get a ride of ours" IV said feeling very uncomfortable in the cable bus.
Minutes later they arrived at the Swift Building and proceeded in, with Wicked following behind them. Getting to the door, the guard which guarded the entrance door, blocked their path.
"Sorry no pet or animal allowed in" The guard said and pushed Sen on the chest bavkward.
"We are here by invitation, personally by the management" Tasha said, looking confused.
"You have to tender your appointment letter"
Hardys looked around, confused
"We were not given, just a noble invitation " Hardys replied.
A car drove him and parked in the parking space, beside the huge building as from it alighted a man, alongside with two other dressed in suit and having dark glasses on.
"Wow, wow, wow, these are our guest" Thr man shouted and ran forward with a skeleton his face
"Wow, you made it, and we were beginning to think otherwise, You must be Wonuola boyfriend, where username" The man said pointing to Sen.
"Him" Sen said and pointed to Mide, and got a savaged look from Tasha.
"Ahh, pets not allowed" The man said, looking at Wicked, which made herself comfortable at Mide's feet.
"She's part of the team" Tasha replied.
The Man rolled his eyes and ushered them in.

Chapter 55

Mide sat down and took one last look at his opponent bench and smiled.
The match begin, with much anticipation from both sides. Sam already feeling nervous and lost confidence when he saw his opponent was leading him with twenty points. He looked towards Mide who punched his right fist into the left palm and smiled.

Sam heaved and channeled the Darkwar into his arm, and began pressing the balls with great speed, the commentator was forced to keep mute, as he didn't know what kind of comeback Sam was performing.

The electric bell rang to signify the end of the First round, and each player retired back to their bench to get a brief rest
Mide stood up and clapped his hands, looking at the score board, with the Silent arrow having just 30 point and the Civil Fighters with 40 points. Mide slammed hands together with Sam and sat him down, while others gathered around him

"That's the spirit boy" Mide said and passed him a bottle of water.
"Do us a favour, Sam, beat him flawless in other rounds, you can do it, you have the greatest weapon, intimidate him, scare him, make him shiver, let silent arrow restore back the fame" Sen said, encouraging Sam.
The bell rang again and both opponent walked back to their machine and mounted it after the stability check done by the engineering crew of the competition.
Immediately the ball popped up, Sam, tapped on it quickly, with a seventy percent accuracy, the second popped up again, and he almost immediately made for it, then the fourth, while his opponent was still going for the second.
"What's happening? " The Civil fighters coach asked confused as at how rapidly things turned out.
"After Double D, The Silent Arrow Coach is the second best" Someone from the Civil fighter group replied.
The coach looked at Mide and grinned his teeth at him, and raised the Middle finger at him.
Mide ignore him and focused on the score board which was up above, before them.
"90 30" Sen shouted and hugged IV.
"Even if we loss the last stage we are still going to win " Hardys said proudly.
The second round finally ended with Silent Arrow having 95 pointszwhcih means Sam, missed just 5 balls, while the Civil Fighter had 60 points.
The players retired back to their bench for another brief rest, just then the commentators voice came from the speaker.
"The Civil fighters are in for a change, their Coach would be taking on the final stage"
Mide smiled and stood up, he had just one thing to do, which was to humiliate the coach and make Silent Arrow a dreadful clan to cross path with.
Mide raised his hands up and rolled them around, and then the commentators voice came again.
"This is the battle of lords, the coach for Silent Arrow will also be going in for the final stage"

Tasha, sipped from her juice cup, and made herself comfortable in the chair, in the school eatery, alongside others, she tapped the girl beside her.
"Our clan will be humiliated" She said and raised her cup up, and smiled.

Mide waked up to the machine and placed his hands on the green plates and looked at his opponent.
The bell rang, and quickly Mide moved his hands swiftly, that the scoreboard, changed like it was counting the seconds in time.
"outstanding"
Mide alighted the podium, while his opponent was still tapping on the ball on the screen and having two minutes more, Mide was done. The crowd gave a wild cheer and went wild, seeing Mide already broke the leaderboard record, which Double D already had.
"Silent Arrows, in the final round has a hundred percent accuracy, finishing in less than 40 seconds, while the Civil fighters in the final round has 80 percent accuracy, finishing in less than two minutes, total round point for S. A is 500 while C. F 200"

The round was done and dusted with the silent arrow, setting a record no clan has ever set.
Mide returned to his seat, and felt blood coming from his nose, he looked at Sen who was in shock and quickly they went out of the arena.
Mide felt weak to walk, and was aided by Hardys and IV, who hurried him to their room and laid him on the bed, Tasha also arrived minutes later and felt unease, as Mide went into shock, with his body shaking vigorously and uncontrollable.
"He is in shock " Tasha said with tears in her eyes.
"I'm an Computer science student, stop looking at me like I'm in the medical line" Sen shouted and adjusted his glass, pacing from one room to another.
Mide snowy stopped and in seconds, his body was filled with sweat
"He is calming down" Tasha said which made everyone relaxed.
"Bros, we have to find a lasting solution, which is more lion heart" Sen said calmly and sat on the top bunk.
"Sure but where do we start from, how do we know where to go, Mide had being positive in our lives, if the the only way we can repay him, let's do it " Hardys said and looked around.
"Support " Tasha and IV said in unison.

Chapter 54

Lin Feng opened the door slightly and peeped, he saw Mide wearing his shirt and widely opened the door, and entered first followed by others.
"Hope I didn't scare you all" Mide said faintly and adjusted his cloth and sat down on the bed and carried Wicked on his laps.
"You have a lion heart" Lin Feng said and walked closer, when he was certain Mide was actually in his right mind.
"Yes" Mide said and pointed to his chest " Two, I had one in me, while Wicked gave me the second, moments ago" Mide said and felt weak.
"Your body chemistry is still trying to adjust, I doubted the lion heart until now" Lin Feng said surprised and looked at queenite.
Tasha sighed releive and baked IV on the chest for scarring hell out of her and sat near Mide, squeezing his hands tight.
"How you doing?" Tasha asked and carried Wicked.
Mide groaned and tried standing up
"I still need more lion heart before I can fully function " Mide said and rubbed his chest.
Queenite walked forward and bent down before him, and lightly rubbed her hands on his leg.
"I wonder how you got two lion hearts, it's very scarce, it's almost one in a thousand, but we will try our best" Queenite said and smiled at Mide.
"Sure, when will you tell her? " Mide asked and looked at Lin Feng.
Queenite knew what he meant and stood up, and turned around to leave.
"I'll bring your sister to the sanctuary today, she can check on you" Queenite said and walked out.
Lin Feng pulled his lips in and nodded his head at Mide and also left the room.
"You know I founded the Darkwar" Lin Feng said and walked on.
Mide smiled and coughed and gently laid on the bed.
"Welcome back brother" IV and his brothers said in unison and walked out of the room.
Tasha patiently waited for them to walk out before laying down beside Mide and had her head on his chest
"That could mean my death" Mide said and groaned.
"Well, what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger" Tasha said and kept mute and Mide chuckled softly.
"I thought I had lost you there" She said.
"Thanks to Wicked" Mide replied and trailed his finger on Tasha's hair.

Mide and his friends resumed school the following week, which was the swiftness competition week, lectures were put on hold, so everyone could get prepared.
Mide mounted the podium of their training hall and gave a brief speech, so as to increase the morale especially that of Sam.
Luckily for everyone,the timetable for the competition was shifted forward, which gave Mide the opportunity to witness, like luck was solely meant for him.
After the speech, Mide choose his troop and Sam to represent in the competition, while Tasha was in the Civil Fighters Clan, which was the first Clan, the silent arrow would be coming up against.
Getting to the competition ground, the hall contained more than five hundred spectators, having two swiftness machine right in the center.
"First group, Silent Arrows Versus the Civil fighters" the commentator said, which got a very loud cheer in return, with fans raising boards and banners up to support their clan.
Sam, The lanky kid walked up to the stage, whilebhis opponent, cheered the crowd and made stunts to intimidate his opponent.

Mide looked at his opponents bench and walked up to the coach. He greeted him and had a hand shake.
"Well prepare to go back, the silent arrow group is a total mess" The coach said and smiled at Mide.
"May the best losser win" Mide said and returned back to his seat
Chapter 53

Chapter 51
Lin Feng entered into the room where Mide lifeless body laid, alongside Queenite.
"We can raise him, he has the Darkwar running through him" Lin Feng said and placed his hands on Mide.
"His heart is gone,how is that even possible" Queenite asked
Lin Feng scratched his head and looked around aimlessly, and out of option.
"What's wrong with us? " Lin Feng asked and sat beside Mide.
Queenite turned around feeling upset by the question.
"Us or you, you ran away from responsibility after getting pregnant, when you saw I was rising, you thought you could buy me back? " Queenite said and smirked.
"That was just a childhood mistake, everyone makes such, at least, let Tasha know for once am her father, I'm willing to do anything"
"She is happy this way, don't involve yourself in her life or my life, just piss off" Queenite said and walked out of the room.
Lin Feng bowed his head between his leg and sighed.


Tasha sat on the fence that camped their clan ground and watched as Sen and others walked in and approached her.
"Babe, what up" IV asked and sat on the fence, followed by others.
For a while everyone let mute, then Tasha spoke.
"How was the training at the camp? " Tasha asked and looked at them, while shaking her legs slowly.
"It was good, except Casper, that was a slow learner, all went fine" Hardys replied and looked another direction.
"What do we do next with Mide's body, I still don't know how to break the news to his sister, she asked of him at the Myraid Ground today, and I said he went on an escort" Sen said weakly.
Everyone kept mute again, and was out of option of clue.

Wicked entered into the room where Mide body was and jumped on the bed, it went towards Mide's head and used it's claw to open Mide's mouth and placed it's own mouth before Mides own and vomited a red Fury ball into Mide's mouth and pressed it paws on Mide's neck, so that he could swallow the ball.
Mide's eyes glowed red and died down again, next the hole on his chest, glowed red and slowly began to heal.

IV jumped down the fence, alongside others and walked towards Mide's room, Sen laughed a joke Hardys made and opened the door to the room, to let them in.
Hardys stopped and blocked others from entering, what he saw was almost impossible happen, it was out of his understanding, Mide was seated upright on the bed, with Wicked by his side.
"Dude, what's wrong? " IV asked and pushed him out of the way.
"Damn" IV shouted and dashed out of the room, followed by Sen. Hardys, opened the door slightly and saw Mide still seated with his eyes closed and his eyes glowing red, and took to his heels, Tasha without seeing what really happened, also ran after them.

Chapter 52

"I wonder how he is still alive" Queenite said and placed her hands on his bleeding chest, and stretched her hands backwards and receivd a surgery knife which Tasha handed over to her.
Queenite used the knife in cutting open his chest, and slowly dipped her hand in, and squeezed her face, as she gently wriggled her hands around.
Mide gasped for air and went into shock, his body shaking vigorously, on the bed. Tasha's eyes got filled with tears and placed both hands on her face, while IV walked up to her and hugged her, also with tears in his eyes also.
Queenite removed her hands, once Mide stopped shaking and studied him closely, she placed a finger before his nostril and another two in his hand, so as to feel his pulse.
She stepped back in tears.
"Assuming he had sentenced Lyta to death" She said and sat beside Mide's lifeless body and used a cloth to clean her blood stained hands.
Tasha broke down into tears and wailed loudly.
"He can't be dead like that " Sen said and also broke into tears.
"Yes he is, he is stupid to think he can defeat Lord Gitana" Queenite said and stood up "Let's prepare for his burial, but first, let's teach the Golden clan a bitter lesson, for ending Double D's and Mide's life untimely" Queenite said and walked out of the room.

Queenite led the entire Arrow of God clan and rode furiously to the Golden clan territory, passing through the main gate of Iron Sanctuary, everyone gave way and knew blood was going to flow, they knew death would grow fatter on the thumbs, they knew death was going to be friendly with everyone.

Sen brought out his Metal Sun Blast and shot at the Golden Clan gate, which gave a loud blast and alerted the Golden Clan. Tasha rode in and slashed the one on her path in the head, the first blood was drawn.
IV spotted Lyta ahead and summouned his Metal Ice spear and threw it at Lyta was dodged it and in an instance kicked IV on the neck sending him off from the horse, which he rode on.
Lyta raised up his dagger and was about driving it into IV, when a blast came at him, sending off. Hardys rode up to IV and pulled him up.
Lyta stood up and was about dashing when, Tasha fired him Mide's Lite arrow on the shoulder.
Lyta screamed out in pain, and turned around, Tasha summouned out her Mini Sane storm and and sent it at Lyta.
Queenite broke down the metal gate which led to Rush inner chamber, just then a strong wind raised her up in the air and sent her outside to the open field, and simmer her on the ground.
She groaned in pain, and was about being shot by a golden clan member, before the golden clan member could pull the trigger, something from behind splitted him into two
"Lin Fend" Queenite said and stood up "Why are you here? "
"The boy, I knew he was Double D, I studied his method of fighting and skills and they both matched perfectly"

Lyta dodged the mini storm and dashed at Tasha and punched her on the stomach. Sen dived off from his horse and gave Lyta a smack sendingbhim down, he twisted the arrow in his arm, which made Lyta screamed loud.
Sen grabbed him by the shirt and threw him away. IV and Hardys ran up to Sen and entered into each other forming their TriBot.
"Legendary Tribot " Lyta said and dashed off, to the entrance of the gate.
The tribot leaped into the air at Lyta, before it could get to Lyta, an eagle mount suddenly lifted Lyta to the air.
Queenite looked up and saw Rush and his brother escaping on their eagle mount.
Lin Feng ran up to Rash and grabbed the Lite bow from her and aimed at Lyta, he pulled the string and squinted hid eyes and released the arrow. From distance, Lyta rolled off his eagle mount, falling to the ground, Rush quickly dived down his mount and grabbed Lyta before he could touch the ground.

Queenite, went around, making sure all Golden Clan member was stained.
