Now the problem is that they want her to show how she earns in Nigeria. I said she is a saleswoman in a rural village but I don’t know if she should submit her personal savings and her pos account cos she does POs business on the side too. Should I use both statement and explain what she does. Since she doesn’t keep conventional

There is no rule for 6 months statement. However, over time, it became a norm that many people adopted.

I have seen people apply with 2, 3 months. It depends on your personal and financial cirumstances and what the visa officer is looking for...

However, I check for where to apply in the immigration website for the infant. What I see is Emergency travel certificate which can be processed within 10 business days and must have a Nigerian passport.

Please, is that the same process you are referring to?

So last time I entered Nigeria I used my Nigerian passport.

It has since expired. I turned it in to immigration for renewal but as usual there’s a delay.

Am I correct in assuming that I can leave the country until I have the renewed passport in my hand? Or can I use my USA passport to travel out? I’m assuming that they’ll inquire how I got in the country.

Or is there any other method because I need to do a quick trip.

Hi everyone. We all have expired Nigerian passports. Have a baby without a Nigerian passport yet. There has been a backlog and so we havent been able to renew ours. Is it possible to travel to Nigeria on an expired passport without the visa on arrival issue? We have valid US passports, and intend to use one of the middle eastern or European airlines, and not a direct flight. Thank you
