But come to think of it, how many parents had retirement plans? Even if they had the opportunity, most of them couldn't go ahead with such plans because they had to take care of their kids. And you think such gesture doesn't deserve some credit even if it was their responsibility to train their kids? Your argument may receive some sympathy in other more civilised climes but not in Nigeria.
