Ifeoma77: That particular status will come up once they've received anything from you. So since it's showing, it means that either your transcript or WAEC has gotten to WES. Don't wait for them to ask for the certificate, that will waste your time, send it now. Use hellofax (or regular fax) to save cost Most importantly, start preparing for verification Thanks alot for your response. My certificate isn't ready for collection, I guess I'll just send my statement of result. |

Pls what does this wes update mean?
Evaluation Type: Document-by-Document Evaluation (ECA) - Initial Application
Status: In progress We received your document(s). We are reviewing your document(s).
Status last updated: 4/17/2019
Now the problem is, I don't know which of the document is being evaluated. I sent my waec and transcript, although I have no idea if the transcript has been delivered as I couldn't track it. WES hasn't requested for my certificate and I'm wondering if this will happen after they must have evaluated the waec and transcript. Pls if anyone has experienced the same thing kindly help with needful information. |

Who has ever sent transcript through NIPOST to WES? How long is the process? My school didn't give me a tracking number, I was told only private couriers provide it. Is it possible to get the tracking number directly from NIPOST if I tell them the day the transcript left for dispatch? Can I send my statement of result myself or do I have to go through the school? |

vingeophysicist: The graduated trainee hire, NNPC enunciated their will be an aptitude test before the actual interview but for the experience hire they also stated clearly that their will be no aptitude test but interview . like I said let us wait and see .I wonder why Nigerians don't bother to read information before applying for jobs. I just hope you're right |

Infinitisi: Well I guess it is a combination of 2 factors.
1. A lot of people are more familiar and comfortable dealing with banks.
2. Many of those who invest in Tbills alone are risk averse investors and as such have never been exposed to other investment options the type offered by investment houses. So they do not know or understand the services you can get from these investment houses.
My opinion please. Totally agree with you. I'm just wondering what's the worst that could happen, I mean, its same tbills my money is being invested. |

CompareDBest: Just before you do that, new evidence has emerged since our reply that suggests
> Stanbic IBTC got best rate for 364 days (14.95%) on 13 Feb Primary Market Auction, followed closely by GTB (14.85%)...possibly UBA too based on the competition beating rates they are currently offering in the secondary market: https://www.nairaland.com/878880/treasury-bills-nigeria/696 > SkyAngel recently asked Stanbic to reinvest interest although the option was not on the form, and they did, at least in the secondary market: https://www.nairaland.com/878880/treasury-bills-nigeria/697#75781784 > logically, because it is not an option on the form does not mean you should rule something out. Ask your bank with the top rates before you try elsewhere > Recent rates from FirstBank have not been encouraging: https://www.nairaland.com/878880/treasury-bills-nigeria/697#75752873 . But check as it moves daily in the secondary market
Note banks that lead in Primary Market (Stanbic, GTB) do not always lead in secondary (UBA). Lead is not divine right, and changes daily/weekly. We implore you to compare any rate offered to you to the rates from some other top banks. And always ask their customer care directly if they can reinvest interest...we suspect the answer will usually be A BIG FAT YES! Thanks for this followup really appreciate. My bank is useless, requested them to invest my money in TBILLS twice and they kept giving me negative reports. Asked the account officer to re-invest my interest and they made me sound like i was talking gibberish. Eventually, they said they don't do it. I think i'll consider stanbic ibtc. polaris bank is a nightmare. |

babs4090: Sis, is your masters with NOUN? I will also like to know the best evaluating body to use. My wife and I already evaluated our Bsc with WES and hoping to evalute her Msc as soon as final results are out in June. I have heard people said ICES is the best in this situation. People who have evaluate NOUN masters show advice please. NO unilag |

Hello seniors,
please I'd like someone to advise on the best hitch free body to use for ECA. I've learnt of the rigorous procedures of WES and I've seen people recommend ICES but what I'd like to find out is if ICES accepts statement of result and how fast are they compared to WES. I know WES accepts statement of result but people complain about them being slow.
My Masters certificate may not be ready until december and I have approx. 1yr before the expiration of my IELTS. hence, the need to evaluate my statement of result as soon as its ready in April. I did well at first attempt in IELTS with LRWS- 8,9,7,7.5 (which was definitely as a result of prayer) and I'm not sure I can afford to retake the exam (God forbid) |

CompareDBest: This reply is for reinvesting your interest to compound it, or get the True Yield of T-Bills. Please skip or ignore if capitalize means something entirely different:
Ogas on this thread with experience on the matter discussed this most recently on pages 689 and 690. However, if you are time poor like all of us really, try these main replies: https://www.nairaland.com/878880/treasury-bills-nigeria/688#75396323 https://www.nairaland.com/878880/treasury-bills-nigeria/689#75409612
If we were to summarise > FirstBank (maybe few others) explicitly offer reinvesting interest on their application forms > GTBank does not explicitly offer, however, because it only deducts the discounted amount (Capital - upfront Interest), you can state the amount you want to invest is (Capital + upfront interest). GTB then deducts your full capital, including what would have been your upfront interest. Example, say you know the t-bills rate of your bank to be 10%, and you have N900k to invest. If you say you had N900k to invest, GTB will deduct only N810k and credit you with N900k at maturity. However, with this trick, you say you have N1m to invest, then your full N900k will be deducted and you get N1m at maturity. > It may logically follow that other banks which deduct only discounted amount, not those that deduct full amount then credit back upfront interest even if minutes apart, might also allow the GTBank trick above > caution should be taken to test above first, even with GTBank as Oga freeman67 only did it ages ago, and every bank does it's own checks differently. > Also important, in addition to the capital to be deducted, account should have spare cash for all charges (commission, custodian/safekeeping, transaction, processing, 5% VAT on some or all of the preceding fees) Thank you for this explanation. really appreciate it. i guess I'll go for first bank |

I'm actually a newbie here and I'd like some clarification. So I was wondering if I decide to invest in TBills and I went through my bank, will they allow me capitalize my interest If no, can anyone please recommend financial houses with good interest rates in the secondary market and allows capitalizing interest. Thank you. |
