Any of the bnsitl who knows where dexterax is? Or is he among those that absconded from Nigeria for fear of post election violence? I can remember vividly his obsession for okomu oil before d preelection mkt crash. The mkt really has a mind of its own. Or has he lost confidence on the NSE? Who knows! That dude really spoke like he was invincible. If any of my fears about him is true, then Little wonder its said that tough times never last but tough people do! Cos despite prevailing MKT conditions there r still winners.

Dexterax finally attained GOD status, contrary to your fears, banal statements and clich├ęs. Unfortunately.

He now runs a very long, short term hedge fund in Lagos, makes cheese from the ensuing management fees and like passwelle typed, runs a radio show on Smooth-FM 98.1 every Thursday with UgoDre of Nairametrics and also runs a weekly column on www.nairametrics.com.

Sir, are you sure about this? I dont think i saw any post from Myjoy relating to this.
myjoy08:

Sir, i don't think there will be any right because Oando and FO are in advanced stage of negotiations concerning the selling of Downstream Sector of Oando to FO. Expect some news so soon concerning the deal and how much FO will pay in cash and equities (In FO) if everything went well. So let's see how things unfold sha...(I might be wrong...)

Well, he'd type that he included a disclaimer. You begin to wonder what manner of PrOpHeT issues a disclaimer.

Na wah really.

When the directors of Nigerian companies decide that sitting in on board meetings constitutes the definition of a boring activity and they decide that it's much more fun to play JIJO with their stock holdings, who is to blame please?

Allow them have some fun please. I understand that the NSE game annoys peeps, just like the casino approximation of the Nigerian Stock Exchange annoys Emma Ewumi.

We live in exciting times.

It's the Great Decoupling and it has entered full bid too.

Just wait till all brokerages start running live-feed software clients like Morgan. We're just scratching the surface for now.

You need to understand and apply the internal workings of stock market. Apply stake holders mind set. More so it is not only oil, coming election is something to consider, stability of government and Nigeria economy.

Oga, it is actually due to instability and uncertainty that we make money in this venture.

Sir, if you have a bargain stock better (than Oando) out there, you can go ahead and sell or you are in need of money. But if the reverse is the case, if i were you i will hold and sell it at a premium price more than the current price. You have the final decision Sir. Good luck. Note something good in brewing in Oando (PLZ DONT ASK ME WHAT IS IT).

@Dexterax, hope you have seen a man that gained 50% and later loses 80%.

Abeg park!

Life is not unidirectional. What if the man takes his 50% and walks away?

Are also you saying that it is impossible to gain 50% and lose 80% in a bullish market?

Bro, "live and let live". As far as he is concerned, he is being his brother's keeper. You should not allow his "shouting" get under your skin.

Oga, I disagree.

Multiple attempts to keep this monkey-hunting game from continuing is NOT in anybody's best interest.

Monkey hunters must hunt. Monkeys must be hunted. We cannot afford to be idle. The alternatives are dire.

All the dude seeks is the vain satisfaction of typing "I told you" at some arbitrary point in the future.

I think it's time you stopped moaning and complaining and just figure out a way to exploit emerging opportunities.

A few peeps have made close to 50% on their positions within the last 2 weeks and instead, here you are, shouting daily from the rooftops. Dem swear for you?

Okay. You've refused to invest/speculate. No problem, spend your loot from the bullish days and send us pictures of you chilling in the south of France with your babe naa? Zero!
