natruetalk: myjoy u are just using style to tell us since that fidelity is winning d bid, unlike be4 that u will come out straight clear. That beautiful transition from a prophet to a cowboy. ![]() |
Donsas1: can someone talk to meYou could check UBA. |
![]() |
myjoy08: NB: Please this is not a recommendation to buy or sell as your due diligence is well advised as there are many good stocks in the market like Fidelity, Wapic, Transcorp, Afriprud, Uba, Stanbic, and so on. ![]() |
For those interested in making 100% + returns from crappy businesses, you can go ahead and put up Costain WA Plc on your charts and follow the downtrend. The shoreline proxy dudes are priming the stock for another inverse head and shoulders stunt. Also watch out for any board changes or alterations in shareholders' equity. *All profits and/or losses that may result from this venture are yours and yours alone.* ![]() #OneYearAnniversary |

immanuello: please my oga dextarex, how is that ibank?Sorry bruv for the late reply. Honestly I've never used the ibank platform to key in a trade. l used a combo of my Bloomberg + app, marketwatchng and direct conversations with my brokers to take positions. Now that sounds like a lot of plumbing but it works for me. l particularly like the human interface. I only use the ibank platform for everything else apart from taking positions (it's only online anyway, not real-time). Wapic @ 70k - 72k is a good entry bruv. You must have noticed the successful efforts of the proxy dudes in keeping the price above 70k. |

passwelle: Well, the games are legit, its Capitalism bro. Just keep an eye on the numbers. Yesterday, Chams had 33,098,276 units on offer at 2.30pm. Presently there is none on offer, more than 35m units traded so far today. You know, J.M. Keynes said something funny about that word. Something that described the conversion of a monkey hunter to a monkey. |
passwelle:We were right about the games of yesterday. Apparently. |
immanuello: @all investment one clientsOga, I can key in my orders through the normal ibank platform oh. And yes I paid NGN 1k for the service. But this is not new. |
passwelle: The mopping up was definitely at the fastest rate! See hen, the monkey biz wey dey this NSE no be small thing. Imagine selling to people at 2.36 and buying back from them at 1.38From the refernce point of those peeps who bought at NGN 2.36, this is of course the classic sucker situation: the condition that arises when the monkey hunter becomes the monkey and is unaware of it. |
passwelle: The abracadabra in that HOT is not over yet.Obviously my oga. Looks like somebody even did a little mopping up this afternoon. I'm not sure about whom exactly Ibru is at war with; his internals, his family or the Starwood camp. ![]() |
passwelle: Mopping up things, with the offer presently 11 times the bid. People no want dividend again ooBased on the revelations on SMN of certain Swiss/Italian connections with the oxygen tanks, the current bid/offer ratio might invert intra-day (abi intra - week? ), a direct result of the faster rate of mopping up activities by the Italian Cosa Nostra. |
Elai147: Current EPS does not directly denotes whether a company is able to pay a particular amount of dividend or not. There are several ways a company can manage to pay dividend regardless of what the current eps is. @ifeykay mentioned one of them in one of the previous pages.Bros, it's always better to evaluate these things in context. We're all aware (at least based on media reports) of what has gone down in the company in question in the past 18 - 24 months. |
A hotel in Ikeja is falling faster than the London Bridge. ![]() |
Dexterax: What does this even mean?If we could generalize the errors in this prediction business, the media probably contributes at least half of the source of deceit for investors through their lame use of language and crappy business reporting. |
Yem0350: FG Set to Implement Waivers on VAT, Stamp Duties in Capital MarketWhat does this even mean? ![]() "Set to implement..." It's either you implement shii or you don't! |

My friend will say: "Wetin concern agbero with overload?" Fidelity. Mainstreet. Skye. Funny how the first letters of the bidding banks are almost equally spaced from the first letter of the target bank. If we decide to think about this spacing in terms of probabilities, it seems that the one closest to the target has the smaller probability of winning the bid, unfortunately. Kindly note that the sum of the 2 probabilities in this hypothetical do not equal 1. An interesting case indeed. ![]() |
These emotions flying from one corner of the thread to another... It'd be nice to know whether any of the sources of these Skye-Fidelity emotions is a board member of any of these financial institutions. ![]() |
kokobaba: I still prefare skye bank to fidelity. Skye has low outstanding shares and a higher EPS.U dey the Mainstreet Bank Bid Committee abi na u dey give final approval for the parole? Na wah mehn. ![]() |
bigjay01: My money is on AIICOWas looking at their financial statements all thru last night. Quite some impressive progress. |
