The activities that go down on Customs Street constitute a game. Nothing more. I bought Custodian at NGN 3.57 this morning and at the time of this posting it's already at NGN 3.75. Beautiful game. Chibuking81: hold on till next year, no stock is good to buy at this time, except you want your #1 million to reduce to #4 hundread thousand within one month, or #1 hundread thousand to reduce to #40 thousand, wait for small time, buy at cheaper rate between middle of january and first week of february next year 2015, about sixty days from now. Buy times two unit of most of the companies share during that period than buying times one share now, best of luck. You know, you've been going on and on about this, slowly turning it into conventional wisdom. We're dealing in a venture where probabilities and uncertainties are the order of the day. A large chunk of market participants are already on this DELAY/WAIT&SEE bandwagon. I hope you guys are right. History says you're wrong though. You may come up with the point that this time is different. That's an argument for another day. Infact my current soft position on this matter is probably against that of some of my respected senior friends here, on SMN and other places. My personal approach is to change with the weather of the markets, keeping your costs LOW as you proceed. The best way to survive in the markets is without hard & fast rules. As always, flexibility is key. The markets have always been forward-looking, and, more often than not, expectations deviate substantially from future realities. Be Open. This is not some discipline of engineering with 200-year old equations. |

Moneysage: Baba, I know, absolutely. The "necessarily" provides a caveat, sort of. You be my oga. Hope the weather's okay bruv? You've decided to keep up the split between NL and SMN. The day wey you go vex me, I go reveal you to the prophets and the entire congregation! |

Moneysage: @Dexter: People who resort to religious clichés may well be left to their fate as they do not necessarily constitute social harm. You reserve the right to engage whom you wish to, though.
Those who deserve your wit and flak are dudes who deluge this thread with hypotheses of how the stock market rises and falls based on salary pay-days and later belabour the correctness of their prophecies of doom, when indeed it is doubtful that they arrived at their predictions by any rational means of their own.
My oga, this is one of the first times I'd disagree with you. Should we flip the history books on the highlighted? You know where I'm going bruv... |
