Dear VO,

Kindly assist with my enquiry. My SIL has a B1\B2 Visa, she filled a DS 160 form for her son but she is having issues scheduling an appointment for the lil guy (5 yrs). She used her own email address and added him as a dependant, d page is however capturing both of dem (mum & son) as applicants and indicating dat she has to pay for them both.

She inputted the receipt number for d boy's payment but the page is not accepting it.

Please can you advise us on what to do?

Thank you.

Dear VO,

Good afternoon.

Please I would like to inquire how to go about a VISA application for my kid. I have an existing B1/B2 Visa but I wish to apply for my 5yr old so we can travel together on my next trip.

Kindly advise as I'm not sure how to proceed.

Thank you.

Dear VO,

I just need some clarification. I wish to renew my visa via dropbox cos it expired less dan 1year ago. I also want to obtain visit visa for my two kids (dis wld be dia 1st visa). Can I submit dia application via dropbox along wit mine or would dey have to appear at d embassy? They are less than 10years old.

Thank you as I await your response.

Got to Detroit and was wheeled to immigration, the friendly Cbp asked the normal questions and requested for docs and sent me for secondary inspection. Let me add that Detroit airport was empty so they had a lot of time on their hands. The guy who wheeled me left me, the Cbp was initially acting all tough but he later relaxed and joked with me. Went through my documents, I had just 3kusd cash on me ( he didn't ask to see it). Had bank statement of 4m Naira which he asked to seHe concluded that I made sure all my bills were paid and receipts collected. Let me add he also talked about the UK visa that was denied ( how long will dt singular denial hunt me?) I was stamped till may 2016. Someone finally came to wheel me out after spending 15mins listening to other people's interview. Went to Agric and tuber of yam was seized. Finally with my wonderful sister inlaw and family. Baby is due Xmas day and I will be using henry-ford. May God grant us all safe delivery and all the best to the other moms who are just starting this mission.

Congrats @ girlloom, wishing u a safe delivery.

Please let us know wat d bill is like once settled.

Hello peeps,

I'm actually a silent reader and I enjoy reading dis topic over and over again.

I got my visa in July 2013 but I didn't say dat I was preggy cos d VO didn't ask. I had my baby and came back home. I also used d visa like 2wks ago on vacation to increase my chances at renewal and I wasn't even questioned at Atlanta POE at all, am back home now.

Now my question is, wat are my chances of getting a renewal cos I intend to apply with my hubby and kids for vacation. I paid all my bills and I have confirmation of full payment from d hospital and Doctor.

Awaiting your candid advise please.

Thanks.

Please for mother 's who have included pap in their luggage while traveling to the US, in what form was this pap/how did you pack it? Or is their a form that is powdery like custard?

I took some pap with me and what I did was to drain it very well such dat it was almost devoid of water. Grandma put it in a white sievelike cloth and placed sumtin really heavy on it. Though my luggage was not checked at all, so I'm not sure abt it being an issue.
