Politics / Re: NSA, Nuhu Ribadu Bans Camouflage For Para-Military by Dfather1(m): 11:48am On Feb 02 |
TUTU147: Go through the circular again. Police are only allowed to wear camouflage when they are in a joint operation with the military or special operations(which in most cases requires military assistance). Apart from these two occasions, they are not allowed to put it on. That being said, why would police want to put on camouflage? Do you know the use of camouflage? One thing most security agencies fail to understand is that everything being done in the military has reason and purpose, imitating it without cause/purpose makes them stupid. Let me quickly correct your impression about police being the mother of forces in Nigeria and they were being weakend by the military. First of all, police is a service and not member of the armed forces. The mandate of the police is very different from the mandate of the military. Police take care of internal security and Incase if they fail, military steps in which is what is currently going on in Nigeria now while military protect the territorial integrity of her nation. Lastly, military personnel are fully empowered to exercise a level of uselessness while fighting external aggressor and not on civilian populace. Military personnel should not constitute nuisance and go about their normal duty as civilian while they are not tasked. Police owns the internal security of the country and not the military. Military personnel should remember this and stop misbehaving, although the police has made herself very useless. |

Arobaga: I understand your point clearly, however, there are some things that you need to know. Most times, when I read comments on nairaland, I just laughed because I know most of those comments were written out of ignorance. The first thing you should know is that civilians are the problem and not the armed forces (army, navy and air force). They are not allowed to vote. It's who we voted to be the C in C that commands them. They are trained to follow order whether good or bad, you can only help them by giving them a good leader that will give them good order. They kind of leaders we elect determine the kind of armed forces that we get. If for any reason they refuse order, that means coup will happen and I am very sure that you will be among the first people that will come and condemn and castigate them. In summary, please whenever you see armed forces carrying out an order(lawful or unlawful) and the commander in chief that you voted doesn't fault or condemn such action, if doesn't go well with you, just blame the leaders you voted and not the armed forces. Thank you. 3 Likes 1 Share |
Politics / Re: Nigeria Ranks 109th Out Of 125 Countries In 2023 Global Hunger Index by Dfather1(m): 10:16pm On Jan 31 |
Kushites: My friend, I don't think we need to fight. That being said, are you now feeling guilty conscience? I don't think I mentioned Obi in my comment or did I? Or do I sounded like an Igbo man? Because I have noticed that anyone that's not in support of deceit is always termed Igbo man or probably obedient. You have just done exactly what I wrote earlier, must we continue to support evil because we are benefitting from it? Just like I said earlier, when hunger harmonize us, we come to agree on common terms. |

EreluRoz: And Buhari that more than half population of Nigerians yearned for did better than Godluck right? The problem we have as Nigerians is that we hate to succumb to the truth. If you have voted wrongly due to your ignorance, tribe, religion or probably gullibility, just accept the fact and join the campaign to move the country forward and not giving flimsy excuses. Was Yaradua not a known politician when he became the president? Who would have thought he would try his best? Was he not the member of PDP? Was he not the one that said he was not too sure of the election that brought him in as the president? We are part of the problem, we all know the lesser devil (as there's no saint in today's Nigeria politics), but we choose to go with the wrong person due to tribe, religion and because of our selfish interest. Let's continue like this, until the hunger is harmonized and our brain can be reset. We will then come to common terms devoid of tribe, religion and sentiment to make better choice. 10 Likes 3 Shares |

You are only bothered about south east irrespective of anything. Tribal bigotry has eaten you too deep. Those politicians you are fighting for with your life, do they know you? Are you in a way benefiting from them in any way? If these questions are "yes" what about your conscience? If you are in the position of the poor ones who don't know or have any affiliation with politicians, how would you feel? complexstuffs |
