The Democratic process is alive and strong in a lot of African countries. Moreover all those leaders who didn't easily accept defect were virtually dictators who got their seats via dictatorship in the first place, their behavior was very much expected, with the full capacity to do so..there is nothing GEJ could have done,no war was averted,he simply lost an election.
Even if we assume you're correct, your GEJ glorification is like praising a man possesing fire-arms for not being an arm robber.
I'm not praising him. I don't even vote. I detest politicians. So your assumption is actually faulted. cheesy

Apart from different tribes and splinter cells, some will hijack to another thing i.e. religious war cos am sure Boko Haram was going to leverage on that to push for a religious war and claim some territory to form their own nation.

Tribal wars cos whether we believe it or not, that herdsmen nand farmers thing was no coincidence.

And those two will also be fueled by political wars cos those politicians will then now have to align with any of these to push their agenda which we already saw with el rufai and Shiites, Boko Haram and their life patron. The shit would have been nasty and irrecoverable and it won't end anytime sooner
That's what some of us don't understand.

Some people have never seen war and it's consequences. Calm down, NO, calm down, NO.

War na ugly thing oooh. Person wey get ear, make e hear.

The pressure was too much for the man to handle.

Similar happened to Yaya Jammeh and the rest is history.

The opposition played the chess game to a deft level. Checkmate was inevitable.
But then Yahya Jammeh and the said mentioned are not mates. You can't compare Nigerian Armed Forces to The Gambia.

All he needed was route the call to another channel and boom! we all start running helter skelter.

Pressure agreed, but pressure can be handled in two different ways: negative or positive.

Now, you a person with deep insight. Many still don't understand the gravity of that singular act. May we never experience unnecessary war or conflicts in our lives.
Amen oOo.

Somalia, Liberia, Libya, Sudan, Rwanda would have been child's play compared to ours because of different tribes and splinter groups.

Man of the century for accepting the result of an election he clearly lost.

huh
rusher14 for once let's put aside sentiments and politics. Haba for once nah.

How many African leaders easily accept defeat? Most even stay in power for as long as can carry on impunity. That call averted a war that was already calling.

Sheath your sword for this one abeg. Shalom brother.

bro are you married? Women are not easy as you think oooo, how is it my responsibilities, I go to antenatal I see most women if not all coming by themselves.
That women come by theirselves doesn't make it out of place for you to do it. It's your responsibility. You open her legs, remove you FG, put inside, place a seed inside. You take care of her.

Bro, it's your responsibility to care, love and nurture your woman. If you wife feels your ex is causing problems in her/your marriage, cut it off. 2018 na im you marry, you don dey complain. I tire for you oooh.

You don't need all these drama. E too early oOo. What works for Taofeeq, may not work for Sulaimon.

Don't be bringing your marital affairs and private matters online. It will haunt you. Don't you have a mentor, godfather or an elder brother to talk to?

Your attitude is a recipe for disaster. I wish you the best. Please sir down and think what you wanted in marital life before you agreed initially to spend your entire life with her.

Shalom.

My dear, all I will say is that you should go and do thorough information search on what was going on in our borders which we were calling business. I have traveled this entire country and I can tell you that it is now someone has really taken a decision on our so call borders. I do not want to be sentimental about this at all. My stance on this does not invalidate my stance with GMB's inability to govern this Nation. If he continues to amend his ways, then he may win my heart.

This is my position.
I'll modify this post later to reply you. At work now. Ciao brother.
