Ask4bigneyo: Profs and Emeritus in the house should please throw more light on this...[b]both are bad, but low self-esteem is the most destructive.... it cant be controlled by the victim, its a virus, a hidden one that kills per event or incidence. for over-bloated ego, not as bad as the formal, because the carrier can/must control it.. under certain environments and situations, also bad as it may, over-bloated ego is sometimes wrongly perceived as confidence or charisma, and can give the carrier some added advantage under some events/circumstansies. |

when i saw that news about the pension funds earlier, i knew its not worth reading since its traced to sahara reporters. we know sahara reporter's strenghts and weaknesses, this is just one of such weaknesses. occasionally publishing cheap unsubstantiated, armchair-fabricated news against government. what a shame and abuse on press freedom. they should go back in time and study the publications of TELL, NEWSWATCH and TEMPO of the military era, and learn what objective investigative journalism entails. 1 Like |

mens dept: Kalu remains a big rogue and thief, who after 8 years as "governor", basically left the state more backwards than during military boy rule.kalu isnt a saint we know, just as the likes of abacha, ibb, obasanjo, ty danjuma, tj useni , ibori, peter odili ,etc etc(what value did all these thieves add to thier home towns or states?instead they hide the loots in foriegn bank accounts), but that shouldnt cover the fact that an industrial town as aba badly needs a still mill, and if its coming from any nigerian private business should be well encouraged and applauded. when will nigerians cease being over-cynical? too much hatred on this land self let the still mill be established and see what non-sense will be made of the (wrongly located)white elephant project wasting away in ajaokuta 1 Like |

Gov Obi has done greatly for his state and beyound. However, his job isnt finished untill he presents presentable and worthy replacement like himself or bether than. Good leader must produce good succesors. Failure ro do this, will reverse all his hardwork and notable accomplishments. How would he feel if the bank he developed before quiting, had been mismanaged to the point of liquidation now. Gov obi's most critical obligation to his people now is finding a credible and popular succesor to maintain the giant strides. 4 Likes |

What local producers badly need is world class infrastructural facilities, very good credit facilities and curruption-free public bureaucracies, all other things will add up.
