Uk is different from nigeria in the sense that no one is really looking at you or cares if you're lost or anything except you ask. You could be dancing on your head and no one would look too hard at you. Lol.

So in the absence of NL or maybe you suddenly realize you need directions you didn't remember to ask on here, don't be shy to ask at any help desk you see and/or look out for signs, maps etc. This are legible and placed conspicuously.

You don't need to show the fee for the 3 years, you need to show just £7,200 or £9000 for outer and inner London respectively (maintenance), plus the fee for the first year and you are fine

It has been my companion in this waiting period,but im kinda freaking out now,cause i submitted my application since on the 13th of august,no alert or email has been sent to me regarding the cllection,my tracking result still shows its been sent to BHC for processing, today is making 16th working days. Please is anyone in the forum that applied at ikeja on the 13th of august and has recieved theirs yet? My school resumes on the 10th of september.

hopefully, you should get your text this week. I would advice that you write your school and notify them you might be coming late due to your visa processing time. With that, I think you won't have your great in your mouth again.

But you might get your notification before Friday.

Pardon my rookie question, but shebi I can just go to VFS on the 15th working day, whether I get a text or not, whether the tracking shows ready or not, I guess the worst thing that will happen is that they will tell me its not ready and I should come back, and it could be readyt sef and their tracker and SMS alert is not working!!!!!!!!!!!

I have got my visa today. Sure there shouldn't be a comparison in processing times away from Nigeria. Different countries have different processing times. Applied on 27th August,issued on 3rd September, collected on 5th september. I can't believe getting it just after 5 working days. Guys I love you all. Thanks to donxiaver, dharkchild and all of your. Just one question left.. In the university's before-arrival brochure , it's stated that if I am bringing cash with me, there should be an amount equivalent to 10000 Euros or above upon arrival. Now, it's just a problem. How could there be different UKBA requirements in different contexts. I thought I should be showing only the required amount for the spanned 9 months stay and now I have just realized that it's a must adding extra amount of money..

Is what I understand correct or it's just another terminal of trouble..

When he pays, he request for a new CAS. the old CAS is no longer valid.

A CAS number can only be used for application once.

Lets keep it simple when applying, if you don't want to use your parents account and your family friend is actually willing to sponsor you, let them transfer the funds to your account or that of your parents and the process gets a lot easier from there.

Those who have gotten their visas, did you put her Maiden name and her Father's name as surname? or you put her name after marriage and your father's surname which she now bears.

Me I used her maiden name and her fathers surname while my bro used her name after marriage (thats our surname) and we both got our visas
