John8000: Hi guys, i see there is alot of help going on here and i am loving it... just a quick question bothering me... Is there anyone in this forum or who knows someone whose tier 4 visa application was denied because he or she withdrew funds from their account after 28days before submitting? cos i did and i transfered this funds to my barclays account in the UK.. i use to be a student in the UK before my course completed and visa expired.. i had to come home and make a fresh appliaction for my MSC... after holding over 4million in my access bank account in Nigeria for 28days, i decided to withdraw the funds and transfer it to my barclays account in uk since that is where i would be needing it anyways... hmmm i hope this doesnt have a negative effect on my applictn since the rule says.. hold for 28days. hey justwise, daktard and co.. please help out with this.... calm me down pls.. am kinda bothered! plus i submitted 8th of August, wondering since they held my application for this long.. maybe they wouldnt call my bank to verify the balance after all cos my school resumes early september and i dont think i got time to re-apply and start appealing and all.. please respond.. thanks.. waiting................... plsssssssssssssssssssssssssss JUSTWISE, DON, DARKCHARD AND COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO... EVERYONE SAY SOMETHING NOW OOOOOOOOOOOO PLSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSStay calm, today makes it 10 working days from 8th of August. Weekends are not counted and we had 2 days salah break. Stay calm |

If that's the only challenge you have and all other documents are intact, most likely you would be safe Cos ve seen someone withdraw it without challenges and not heard of anybody with challenges, but in a case where you have to reapply due to any reason, then you would have to start the process all over again. Hope for the best. |
g2db2do: Alhamdulillahi, afta waiting patiently for 25 working days, picked up my student visa today. Justwise nd d rest, really appreciate u guysCheers bro. Happy for you |
Donxavier: Your official sponsor isn't a problem. It's ok. You need a letter of official sponsorship from them stating in very specific terms how they will sponsor you and what they will be responsible for. It's important you get this part right.'m not with my system right now, so posting from mobile. I could send a scanned copy of a sponsorship award letter tonight tho. It needs to be detailed. How much they are giving for tuition, living expenses, accommodation, stationary...bla bla bla. My bro is travelling this sept too on full scholarship and he's got his visa without issues but providing the necessary documents. If tonight is not late, I can send it. It might not be a standard but it www detailed and it worked. |
[quote author=eyejae]The applicant has satisfied all the requirements for the award of the Degree of Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from University of Lagos, Nigeria. Your certificate and or academic transcript depending on what you applied to your school with |
eyejae: Hello guys,Loll... Its original as long a the stamp and signature are on it |
Yababoy: @Donxavier: I'm sorry I don't know anyone studying in Aberdeen for now. I didn't work at all during the course duration because the course was pretty demanding. However, I got a 3 months full time contract job as a Process Analyst almost immediately after I completed my course work. My plan is to continue with this whilst searching for a permanent job in a Consulting firm here and back home. The job prospects might seem deem but there are still opportunities that are worth exploring. You never know how little testimonies like this spur others to greatness. All the best bro. |
@dolz congrats. I can feel your sigh of relief from here. Lol |
Donxavier: if you want a bank statement for Aug1-28, then you need to print on the 29th. Simple. Unless you can print after close of work on the 28th. Otherwise the full 28 days isn't complete. Let's assume you want the statement for Aug 1-30. You need to print on the 31st and make the transaction on the 30th. You can't print early on the 30th and still get the closing balance for the 30th.you can make a transaction and print same day. But you can always confirm from your bank if the transaction would reflect. I think it does reflect |
ikcbn: Hey guys, esp pple ϑaτ̅ submitted @ abuja, do U̶̲̥̅̊ need 2 book an appointment via online b4 going 2 vfs office 2 submit Your app and for d̶̲̥̅̊ bank statement, i§ there any specific number of months it should cover or can a bank statement 4 jst a month do d̶̲̥̅̊ job given ϑaτ̅ it has d̶̲̥̅̊ required fund and has stayed 4 d̶̲̥̅̊ 28days?For the bank statement, a month is fine a long as the money has been there for a minimum of 28 days. Don't forget to do a transaction on the day you want to print. Book an appointment, its free and saves time. |
Tjluv: Hello guys, I'll be submiting my application on monday, however, I have a little concern.I fixed the required maintenance funds in my account but the 28th day fell on a holiday and so I could not perform any transaction on the account. I however paid money into my account on the 30th day to make up for the closing balance. Now considering this statement I saw on UKBA's website:"We will not accept statements that show the balance in the account on a particular day, as these do not show that you hold enough funds for the full 28-day period required" and "You must show that you have held the required money for a consecutive 28-day period (finishing on the date of the closing balance)"You don't have a problem, the money should be in your account for a MINIMUM of 28 days before the day you print out. |
ikcbn: Firstly,I wanna 2 say a very big tank U̶̲̥̅̊ 2 my miracle working God and U̶̲̥̅̊ all 4 Your kind concern on ma problem bt I write 2 inform U̶̲̥̅̊ all ϑaτ̅ I have bin given my ATAS Clearnce this evening so i would definitely go ahead wit my visa application nxt week.Congrats bro. I so much wish you the very best. Can't wait to see you in Sheffield. Cheers man |
azoo: @dharkchild pls can u do a personal check for me on properties with bills inclusive and the average price, she used the housingfinder but they dont indicate if its bill inclusive. I will most appreciate if u can help out. Thanx.Let her use the advance search to narrow get search scope and click on the property one after the other. They always state it if bills are inclusive. She could also google "student apartment in Sheffield" |
azoo: @justwise and all, please I need ur advise. My fiancee just got her visa to travel to the UK for her MSc and she has covered her tuition already and has little maintenance fund with her. Is it possible she gets accomodation where she can pay weekly or monthly pending when money is sent to her or she must pay for the whole 44wk or 52wk contract at a go?Wow, that's my school. Ok if you staying on school accommodation, you have to sign the 44 or 52 Weeks contacts, but you don't have to pay at once its flexible. If you want private accommodation which might be cheaper, I would advice she look for apartment online and check the proximity to the school. (apartments with bills inclusive are always better IMO) She can then book a temporary accommodation in Sheffield for like 3 nights. She can use this period to visit the apartments and make her choice on which apartment to choose. She can also use house finder in the schools website to look for recommended private accommodation. These are private landlords that are registered with the school. They are way cheaper than school accommodation. In all, either private or school accommodation, payment plan is flexible... Dunno about weekly, but monthly, yeah |

Hi all, those that have travelled our are planning to travel, I need a little help. I am just beginning to make my travel arrangements. I always like travelling light, and wouldn't mind doing my shopping in the UK. I see most people always travel with two big boxes, but I doubt if all my luggage would fill a box. What are the major things I need to take along asides laptop and cloths. Also what can I get chapter in Nigeria than in the UK, someone advices me to get my Jeans here as they are more expensive in the UK. |
Donxavier: There is no intern and career thread. But that discussion came up on Elle's Want Uk Accommodation Thread. Just check the Travel section for it.Ooh thanks ve seen it. Even following it sef, I thought there was another thread dedicated for it. |
Loriante: I am afraid it's not as minor as it sounds.. The address printed on my Toefl official report is stated to be in USA. I have never been to USA before, and in my online application they asked if I had been to USA before and I said truthfully no. They might get suspicious then as to how I have stated that I have never been to USA and my address in my certificate is in USA.. This was a long story, as I preferred for my certificate to be sent to my relatives and they in return to send it to me via DHL, instead of international standard mails being lost by EGYPT's postal services.U can explain that in your application or just address a letter stating the issue and attach to your application. Say it the way it is. No need for long essay |
Pls someone should direct me to the intern and career thread. Don, Kunle, Salsera, anybody... Thanks in advance ![]() |
globi: Pls justwise hlpp me wit this.I put in 1,988,000 million on the 31st of july as maintenance fees but mz dad paid in another 400,000 naira on theyth of august hpe dere its not a prob and also wat oanda conversion am I to use the later or tthe former.thanksNot a problem for outta London. Use the oanda conversion rate of the day you print out your statement. |
Charles. E:For the section 6.15 yeah, tick both. For section 6.16 in the course fee, enter £500 and for the maintenance enter 8,000. The fluctuation in price would boy affect it as long as it is still higher than the £7,200, you won't be denied visa. In section 6.17 your course fee has been fully paid for, so just enter £7,200 in the maintenance and same in total. |
FutureDon: Eeya!! But why your Tier 4 sponsor con write BSc certificate when you don't even have it yet. [s]I wish all 9ja Universities be like my alma mata, got my original certificate almost immediately after graduation. Better by far!!![/s]He should just get his transcript. Its either original certificate OR official transcript that is allowed. UKBA won't accept statement |
