You can book, however on the day of the test it is compulsory to write down your Uk address and postcode ( which should be that of the University or University Accommodation) and it will be printed on the certificate.

what if you haven't gotten admission, and you want to do your TB, can you put down an house address of a family member in UK?

Yes you can work and study. Perhaps it could work if you can get a school like Hull University where you pay less than 8k pounds for school fees. Or maybe even try to get a scholarship. But without scholarship you will still need to raise some more money to add to the 5m for your visa application, IHS and Flight ticket.


If you have that and you are single , I think you can make it work. You could live in a shared apartment and the money you make from working 20 hours weekly should be okay to pay rent and feed you.

The 8k you are talking about, is it for "Undergraduate/Postgraduate". Because the last time i checked, it's was above 10k for international students

There is. It'll be stated on the school's website when applications for that particular course is open or closed. Some courses like nursing are highly sought after, so you might want to apply early especially when such applications open.

Some schools require you to apply via UCAS while some accept direct applications.

I got responses from the school's I applied to via UCAS within 72hrs. Some I've gotten unconditional offers, some i await interview while some rejectected me cause they're full, closed for 2021 intakes or because I had a 2.2

Also I tried to strike a balance between cost/quality (tuition fee/ranking) in my selection. These are about the most budger-friendly schools I'd get

Please and please to avoid long story, let your sponsor transfer the money to your account. Then if the interviewer ask you the source your money, tell them that it's your Mum or Dad that transferred the funds into your account, and you too have been saving to support your self.
Be ready to know the income of your Mum/Dad and what job or business they do.

I used WEMA Bank, it was debited within 5 working days. I didn't give them any breathing space and telex was sent to my email
Eco Bank and Stanbic Bank is also faster

Priority Application: on the 3rd of February

Biometrics: On the 4th of February at TLS Abuja.
Then came the longest wait ever! On the 15th working day when I didn't hear from them, I sent a paid mail. They replied the next day saying a decision hadn't been made on my app. Omo, I tire. My TB test certificate expired the next day.

On the 2nd of March, I got a mail from UKVi requesting proof that I have been attending lectures which I got from my school and immediately submitted to them.

I started rejoicing and hoping for a response soon. Then boom I was sent an interview mail on the 8th of March, and the interview was scheduled for the 9th of March by 2 pm. I prayed and prepared. I couldn't even sleep that night but God isn't man, he doesn't break his promises.

On the 9th, I got a call by 2 min past 2 pm and the interview lasted for 14mins. I was surprised o cos I had already prepared myself for an hour-long drilling but God showed himself merciful.

On the 11th of March, I got collection mail with my visa intact. What God cannot do does not exist. �����

Now I can sleep well.

I have met some truly supportive people on this platform, who kept checking in and encouraging me, may God bless you all. Thanks for all the support, answers to my questions, and information shared on this platform.

Ps :- I drafted this message in faith on the 9th of March, the same day I did my interview.

that's not true, card issue to a "Dollar" account are always credit card. I have Dollar card with first bank which is (visa gold) and my limit is above 10,000usd

Yes. BSc will get 2 yrs post study visa. But BSc students cannot bring dependent.
