I reside in Osogbo. My wife is a state government staff of level 12. October salary was the last she collected. I told people around me not to vote APC in the last August election but most did as if charmed. Now we are bearing the heat together. The situation is pathetic.These Lagos guys have inflicted hardship through Bleep developmental projects and they have used the medium to borrow money from banks and siphon same borrowed money to Lagos. Osun state is totally in a state of pity. Still, the people of Osogbo are still crazy of the man. Every little lies of APC is always taken by the locals of Osogbo city. Religious influence on another hand is a factor.Pray for us please.

ure conversant indeed with happenings in d state. i had expected ogbeni to roll out plans to collect his tax frm pple and use d same money to pay bills he owes including salaries but election serves as a barrier now. afterall dey have to pay tax for roads he has built for dem. if workers can be patient,IGR will soon increase when elections are over and i can assure dt those pple who saw civil servants as enemies during last guber election are d ones dt will suffer most when multiple tax is collected frm dem.

I just knew someone will say it's because GEJ didnt pay state allocation. He did my dear, he even defended himself on Punch and I saw it and Ogbeni didnt say nothing. It's far beyond what you see oh. If u dont know,RMAFC is a body dt oversee d allocation and distribution of resources in nigeria and there are rules for doing dt but my question for u is dt if FG has been doing this to opposition states,why have dey not gone to court to seek redress?

Anyone who gives political colouration to any protest/outburst of civil servants in osun state is an enemy of humanity. These pple have endured inconsistent payment of salaries coupled with non uniformity in payment where junior workers would 1st be paid b4 senior ones are paid for d past 1 year now and have at one time or the other respected d decision of state govt. however, if these pple shud nt steal govt money to survive and do their work appropriately, how do u expect dem to cope with FOUR months unpaid salaries? and this is also d experience of pensioneers too.
Government had at one time complained FG used to seize or reduce allocation meant for d state and an allegation jonathan refuted on camera when he visited ilesa last wk.
i want to believe there are rules guiding sharing of revenue in nigeria and wud have expected Mr Governor to go to court to challenge FG and RMAFC if d state is being cheated or if FG is witch-hunting d state.
Enough is enough! osun state workers have nt experienced this b4 eventhough previous administratns too had to cope with whatever is little dey were getting frm federal purse and nobody complained and dt makes someone lik me who has civil servant parent thank God this govt was nt in place when i was schooling.

The publisher of that Textbook did a very poor job. I have never considered buying that book. Maybe I have to rethink now.
Information from inside source makes it clear that anybody below 2:1 will not even be considered. Majority if not all of the people that will be considered will be from the engineering.

THOSE WHO HATE HIM BASED ON WHAT THEY HEAR FROM OPPOSITION: This set of pple dont know how any of d factors used to campaign against GEJ by d opposition parties has affected them but dey show solidarity with opposition because of the promise dey are hearing frm dem. Many of them have been brainwashed dt dey dont see any good thing GEJ has done since 2011 and dey cant compare what is on ground with manifestoes of GEJ in 2011 and decide on their own. Majority of these pple live in south (mainly south west).
2. THOSE WHO ARE TIRED OF REMAINING A FIGURE/MEMBER OF AN OPPOSITION PARTY:
Some of these pple have been in camp of opposition party as far as nigeria politics is concerned since we returned to civil rule in 1999. Among these pple are asiwaju,buhari,and top echelons of APC who have seen the merging of defunct ACN, ANPP,CPC and PDP(faction) as opportunity to have a shot at presidency and are nt ready to allow dis chance to elude them considering personal efforts dey hav made in d past in their individual parties to challenge GEJ's party but to no avail.
3. THOSE WHO BELIEVE POWER MUST RETURN TO NORTH IN 2015:
These people hold sway in northern nigeria and have made average northerner to believe GEJ is using their time. They talk as if there is constitutional backing for their statement and since majority of their pple have nt seen a copy of constitution b4,coupled with their culture that make dem subservient to their political leaders,they hate GEJ too in return. These pple wud have either kept quiet or be singing continuity song across d north if a northerner is currently in place of GEJ even if his performance in office is worse than dt of GEJ.
4. THOSE WHO ARE NOT SATISFIED WITH GEJ'S PERFORMANCE.
Regrettably, very few percentage of GEJ's haters fall into this category. These are pple who genuinely remember d manifestoes of GEJ in 2011. they believe he has performed below their expectation and dont believe he can improve on what he has done/he is doing. One important thing about these people is that dey placed so much hope on GEJ in 2011 dt dey had expected him to perform more than what he listed in his manifestoes.
