Praise the lord! I want to use this opportunity to thank Almighty God and serve as a source of information to somebody. I finished service this Past February as a lawwyer who lost his dad jst two weeks to the comletion of my NYSC and I cried because my father served as a source of succour to me and I depended on his connections to get a job so I was devastated and sad when he died. I am his last kid and his burial went on in grand style without much financial contribution from me because I was jobless.I lost faith in God and started fighting my mother for her lack of help, I sent my CV to family and friends at home and abroad and all I got were promises upon promises.

I got the contact of the Law firm where I got this job from a senior lawyer colleague at my Law firm PPA in ibadan where I served and I personally went to ikoyi to drop my CV immediately I came back from service and I just completely forgot about the firm because I thought they will never call me because I didn't make 2:1 either in University and Law School but God surprised me after my father's burial as I was called late May for series of interviews which culminated in me being given a nice job in a Corporate Law firm on the Island.

I want all graduates still searching to please keep hanging in there and trusting in God because no man can or will take GOD'S GLORY in your life, only him reserves that right. All my contacts and network failed me but God showed himself mighty in my life. THANK YOU JESUS!

are u an employer? if ure an intern it is nt ur duty to fill it by urself unless ure permitted by ur employer. contact ur employer to get it filled for u b4 5th of dis mt. it is after he has done dt u can view it on ur gis page.

Oh ok, well according 2 him, he only submitted his cv @ first but afta d interview he was asked to submit copies of all his credentials nd oda docs......well mayb his engr trainee applicant is diff sha. tnz all d same.

everybody submitted copies of his/her credentials b4 d interview but not for documentatn and previous job pay slip was nt asked unless ur frd just added it on his own or he went back later to submit it.

june 1st remains doubtful now since dey are still silent till dis moment. who knows if their plan is towards july now

I didn't apply for Technologist position, mine was GA. I understand one or two GAs were offered employment based on their familiarity with the school administration. By that I mean they're already "working" with them.
My brother, whatever your applied role was, forget those people, it's time to move on.

i noticed it is becoming common thing now in nigeria labour market (esp govt workplace) to see pple working voluntarily without hope of salary/wages pending d time vacancy wud exist in those places so as to fill those vacant positions. it is hard to imagine how unemployment can make pple to be as desperate as that. may God in His mercies visit this country and give everyone a better hope for d future.

i guess u also applied for technologist position. has all hope lost concerning d stuff or what did u hear that made u to conclude like that?

People with different infos sha. I remember vividly b4 I was interviewed at Agro Sacks in Lagos, Myself and some interviewee had a chat with Mrs Williams; one of the HR. She said "Only 100 persons" are to be shortlisted for the trainee employment.
I called the same woman 2weeks ago to confirm when we should expect their feedback on the interview we did. The response she gave me was that "We will be contacted b4 the end of this month (May). They are trying to prepare everything that will be needed for the training and also equip the hostels too.
I assume since this is the last week in May, hopefully we'll be contacted by God's grace.

she said 100 last yr too but dey later shortlisted 80pple. mayb 20 slots were reserved for man know man case. i dont doubt ur source of info because madam sumbo has always been a nice HR and one of d best av seen in dis country since av been seeking career job. am very sure dey contacted last yr trainee a wk b4 dey resume

I wish to apply for this programme but i currently work in another town in kwara state. i wanna be sure the program wont affect my work b4 i apply for it. pls u can share relevant info with me here if u know how many days in a week students meet for lectures. thanks

@dhope..... where did you get your data the training for last year,they took 41 mechanical and electrical trainees so this year they might round it up to 50 since other disciplines has been included

i was told by someone who wrote their test. he said dey addressed dem after dt test but am not sure if dey eventually took up to d number of pple dey stated initially. u can as well add chemical engineering grad to it because dey were considered too last time meaning dey took up to 60 then. God will do d best for us

am confused if it is a sin or not to eat meat of animal whose blood was nt made to flow out when it was killed. i understand we are no more under d boundage of law as dis is era of grace where what goes into our body doesnt make us unclean but what comes out of our mind and body. but can we say it doesnt matter to eat such meat since christ also confirmed it dt he didnt come to scrap d law. pls i need ur contribution.

1st week of june is still realistic. just a matter of calling pple 3 days to go to come and sign bond form. am sure we all told them we are available anytime dey call during d interview. i guess everybody was interviewed in lagos and if am wrong someone else shud correct me.

lol. ure very funny. even if anyone here is able to send it to u,it might not be recognised by surep. meanwhile, timesheet submisn is done via employer gis page and nt thru their mail. u can just be lucky if u send them dt excel outstanding form and dey treat ur own because dey recognise d ones employer send better.

it seems no technologist interviewee has been called since. mayb d story i hrd abt v.c saying he cant afford to pay salaries of many new staffs is true. he don chose technologist applicants as sacrificial lamb be dt but dey ought nt to have included 2014/15 academic session as d time of resumptn when dey advertised for these positionsm
