pls nairalanders, i wanna know how much surep pays as stipends to d selected beneficiary and then do companies dt take someone also add anything to their stipend? i got an invite for a fair dis wk to meet enployers but i wanna know if it is worth going. i'd appreciate ur contributn plss

i can still remember some question but i dont think dey will keep asking same question everytime. dey hav designed their questn in such a way dt u can answer all.current affairs qts within 3mins IF U KNOW IT. questns lik when did naija bcom republic and when nysc was establishd plus who is minster of finance. then know full meaning of acronyms lik NAFDAC and co. av really 4gotten how dey framed questn on essay but it sounds lik u shud write a page article on how banking has improved in nigeria. so expect smth similar because someone dt asked dt might ask u to explain d damage boko haram has done to nigeria economy. speed and accuracy is d key because calculator is nt allowed though their maths is nt complex to solve.

if ure HND/B.SC holder,d max age is 30 and d minimum grade is 2.2 or lower credit. else if u dont meet up wit dis condition,dey will ask u to go b4 exam starts so dt u wont waste ur energy. gatecrashing is d language for their test and all u need to do is just make sure u go there wit ur c.v. if ure going 4 d 1st time,go early and put down ur name at d back of their office and wait till dey come and call u in. dont panic wit d test format,just simple maths(10q) and english(10) plus current affairs(10) and essay writing for a given topic everything within 25mins.

bro,pls how do dey calculate d exact salary to pay someone. i know d figure represents annual/gross salary but how do dey chose btw d range given? are dey going to chose d least or d most or take d average?

see d action of oil money. d offsprings and family member of gov akpabio will hardly experience scarcity of money. only God knows how much was spent to build dis magnificient edifice. i can imagine if this kinda stadium exist in all d states in nigeria, messi and cron7 will be tempted to come and play here.

it is urgently every time. must d job seeeker live close to company gate b4 u can employ him? if d job is worth doing i dont think u need to care if he lives in isolo mile2 or ikorodu provided if he is ready to meet up wit d job conditn.

i remember d day i typed here abt d sharing and selling of slots for dis job, some pple decided to castigate me. it is nt smth dt pleased my mind too when i got to know dt officials are sacrificing competence and fairness for nepotism when it comes to sensitive job lik SSS in nigeria. honestly this is d last job i could imagine pple would get by 'long leg and am patiently waiting to see how many pple will be employed on merit.

Why can't those government robbers think of how to generate more employment so that there will be more of HND and BSc specialised jobs? When this bill is finally passed to law, it will no longer be attractive to employers to employ HND graduates if they can employ a BSc holder for the same pay. Now who is disadvantaged?
To get rid of the HND/BSc disparity, first make admission requirements, UTME scores etc the same for both polytechnic and universities.

most of pple advocating for cancellatn of dt difference dont think lik u. dey hav forgotten dt d dichotomy and difference start with d mode and requirements of admisn. if nt because of job dt is nt readily available,who cares whether u hav b.sc or hnd. d fact remains dt d employers (esp private ones) will now shift attention to d kinda schl where person went during selection process. d best thing is to standardise everything so dt d requirement of o.au admisn is equal to that of iree poly. else d last may nt hav been heard on dis issue.

A bill for an Act to abolish and prohibit dichotomy and discrimination between first degree and the Higher National Diploma certificates in the same profession and field scaled the second reading on the floor of the Senate on Wednesday.

The bill, sponsored by the member representing Ondo Central Senatorial District, Ayo Akinyelure, specifically seeks to end the ongoing controversy over wage disparity and gross discrimination against HND holders in the public and private sectors.

He said, “The aftermath of continuing injustices, disparity and discriminations meted out to products of polytechnics in Nigeria is threatening to derail the nation’s core policy thrust of evolving a technological and scientifically-based and self-reliant society in the nearest future.

“As I speak, thousands of would-be polytechnic and technology students are contemplating or have decided to opt for university education because of perceived and real discrimination against HND graduates.

“If this contemplation occurs, there is bound to be a vacuum created in our labour market in this regard and dire consequences are bound to follow this trend.

“Over the years, several entreaties have been put forth to the Federal Civil Service authorities to put a stop to certain glaring wage disparities and discrimination against the HND holders, and all these have been to no avail.”

He said to make matters worse, certain federal parastatals are known to openly discriminate against HND holders to the extent of limiting their progress within the hierarchy of such government bodies.

it is natural dt a failure gives excuse for his bad performance. now he has shifted d blame to pitch. african nations seem to hav d same problem as most clubside here in naija are owned by state govt and he shudnt expect nff to build new grass pitch for a team dt always play at home once in bluemoon. he shud go and get a job in an african country dt has natural green grass eventhough am expecting more excuses frm him

dont mind those yeye people. normal schl shud start 2014/2015 academic session by sept or latest by oct of dis yr. instead of dem putting 2015/2016 session so dt pple wont put their mind there dey just lik to raise pple's hope unnecessarily. imagine d uniosun own wey we don start since last year july dem neva conclude am till now

av been watching dis lady wit keen interest since she played in last fifa U-20 world cup in canada and at times am amazed wit her scoring ability especially d way she is being accurate in front of goal post and his confidence upfront (though she is human and cant be accurate everytime). if futball rules allow then i wish she is given opportunity to play for super eagle because i see her shooting accurately than most strikers we currently hav, only dt she wont be doing much running lik his male counterparts so dt she wont be tired quickly.

anoda vacancy by u but dis time d vacancy is nt urgent? God dey. i just hope our cv's are safe in ur database and if i may ask i hope dis one too wont take till eternity b4 u call pple for job assessment.

working in the airport or airline requires different skill depending on the one your interested in e.g ticketing and reservation officer, cabin crew, flight dispatcher etc all required special training and certification...
but you can also get a job in an airline with ond,HND,bsc

bro, i hold B.Eng in mech engrg and i used d maintenance methodology dey are using for maintaining aircrafts i.e rcm in my final year project to perform anoda research and dt has made me to hav idea of aircraft maintenance eventhough av nt been able to go further in learning it in aviation schl because of money. i also hav other skills expected of young engr lik me e.g to use autocad and inventor to work and also program cnc machine. i wud lov to hav a career as a member of maitenance crew of any airline or in engrg section of Faan. wot do i do and how can u help me?

av always wanted manager lik ancelotti for super eagle. manager who cud manage stubborn players and tap their skills to get results. siasia might nt have been sacked if he had listen to d pple asking him to forgive enyeama then. we all watched d goals score by guineans dt it was unusually for vincent to concede such at dt time. siasia is better than keshi if he has learnt his lesson too to place feelings of over 100million pple above his feelings else we look in d direction of john obuh or oliseh.
