I am done paying my fees. I don't know about the monthly installments.

But you have to pay 50% of your fees before enrollment.

Someone who has an experience in this will be able to help.

Will explain.

Let say your Tuition fee is 12500 for the whole duration.

You will have to pay 1000 to get CAS. So you left with 11500

You will have to pay 5250 before Enrollment to complete your first installment.. which means you have paid 6250.

So the balance of 6250 will have to o be paid 4months after enrollment to compete the whole Tuition fee

Hopefully things gets better. I can't really speak for SHU when it comes to admission.

Admission varies from department and course. But you can start expecting your offer after two weeks or within two weeks.

As for initial deposit I can't speak for them as well but I paid £1000 as my initial deposit and there was a discount as well. I don't know if it will be different in Sept 2021.


Payments will be stated on your offer letter.

£1000 cool, but how are you paying the rest, is it by monthly instalments or the 50/50 as @oppson mentioned?

Myself and my little kid will be going with my wife as dependants to Sheffield Hallam as well. We're still counting our 28days before application now. The plan is for me to go and be back to Naija after 3wks to continue my job and join them later may be after few.months...since UK is still on lockdown and work there for now might not be feasible.

Is that possible?

We are applying for September so still have a long way to go. From my research, Sheffield in general and SHU itself are really nice to live and study but I would have still liked to hear directly from someone already going through the experience.

I believe to study microbiology you have to be detail oriented, result oriented and patient, and these are qualities that a good bank employee should possess. So if you seriously think about it, you will have an answer ready before your interview.
