popweezy:
do we need physical clearance to study masters??
Education / Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by Didito(f): 11:33am On Apr 16
Good morning all,
I need an advise on how to go about this.
I want to go for my physical clearance for my master's course. But I was told I need to carry along my original WAEC certificate, which I have yet to collect. Is it okay to take my WAEC printout and scratch card instead? Would this be accepted?

Hello pls respond to this
How many years is your study?
Did you pay the entire tution or part payment?
Is the 7.5m your entire POF or did you add another financial document e.g gift deed?

Good morning everyone, please is SOP same as LOE (letter of explanation)?

Is church recommendation letter compulsory?

For NOVA SCOTIA, i read some discouraging comments here of recent and it got me scared, if the school isn't able to provide accommodation, can one get accommodation in a town close to it?

My course (Healthcare management) will be held in a Cineplex outside the university so is a must to live inside the school provided accommodation and what if they aren't able to provide?

Its not a must to live on school residence. If you can get accommodation in a town close to the school, then do that. Depends on you

PLEASE I NEED HELP BEFORE I MAKE A HUGE MISTAKE!!!

My husband wants me to go study in Canada as it's the new development to get PR since age has disqualified us from other options to get PR.

He met with an agent from MAPLE comsult and he has paid for them to help me wt the process of admission and visa.
He suggested capebreton university for me; occupational health therapy.
I have made my own little research on this sch and the reviews are bad.
I read on Facebook that there is no job in Sydney and housing is expensive and limited .
Alot of people here on nairaland are not choosing the sch...Y??

I also read on Facebook that capebreton university won't REFUND your money if you are not granted visa and that they are on strike blah blah...
Please I don't want to make a mistake that I will regret, pls you gurus should pls come to my aid.

1.Should I go ahead and apply to d sch?
2. I need better sch suggestions (university/college) where there is job availability and accommodation won't be a big problem. PR too..(NO IELTS)
I have been a sales representative for 10yrs now, so what kind of course shd I go for? Business management? Marketing?? Suggestions please....

I won't advice you to apply there either.
You can try applying to Fanshwe college

For a positive outcome try and provide documentary evidence to show the source of the 25M. If property sale show all the transaction documents including agreements, for employment show letter and pay slips for business show all business related documents including CAC and bank references indicating sole signatory or a board resolution.

Thank you for replying. But I still have another question.

My program is a two year program
My tution is 8500 cad per semester, but I was given a conditional offer to make a deposit of 5000cads, but I decided paying the 8500cad
My Dad is a business man, he also has the CAC of the business
Note: that kind of amount has been deposited into the acct sometime last year for business purpose, becos the acct is more or less a business acct (but it's still a savings account). I could also get a reference letter from the bank.
OR
Isit better to break the money into bits like 8m and keep depositing it while the inflow and outflow continues in that way? For this I can try and explain in my LOE in the sense that alot of money is needed in that acct to operate such a business.
What do you think?
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Didito(f): 9:38am On Jan 29, 2023
Hello everyone, I apologize for this long post.

I need opinions on how to go about my study permit application again becos I was rejected on my first application where I made use of a third party as my main sponsor but I wasn't able to prove the relationship, I also made use of my Dad as secondary sponsor but there wasn't a significant amount in his acct then. I was refused based on insufficient funds available, although I already paid my first semester fees and showed proof.

For my second application I want to use my Dad as my sponsor, but the thing is his account currently does not have enough to show proof as of funds and that's y I want to wait for four months to build up the acct b4 applying again.

My question here is if an amount of let's say 25m drops in the acct in February and stays in the acct till may with inflow and outflow high would the 25m be considered as lumpsum?

I would appreciate any feedback I can get.

Hello everyone,

I have gotten admission with Thompson Rivers Uni(MBA) and Cape Breton Uni(PGD in Business Analytics). I would appreciate any advice on which to go for considering that I would like to transition to PR. Which is better in terms of cost of living, ease of transition.

Thank you.

I won't advice you to continue with your CBU application. It's total chaos in the school. If u want to verify my claim u can join the Cape Breton Facebook group page to decide
