The constitution does not allow the military to go against anyone because of what they say, no matter what the person said. The constitution grants everyone freedom of speech and in a situation where someone says something that is against the law, the constitution says that the relevant authorities should investigate and charge to court.

Talking about BSS doesnt even come into it because the law allows freedom of association. The BSS are not armed, so what law was broken by them being created? Because they were black clothing and salute each other? That is not against the law. Its like saying that the Salvation Army are illegal for wearing uniforms and saluting each other.

This story about IPOB blocking the road and extorting money from people, does this sound right in your ear? Where have you heard that people will set up roadblocks and be taking money off people in broadaylight? And how come is it that the only people who are saying this happend are the Nigerian Army but the police that is on the ground didnt report the same? The only people who setup roadblocks to extort the general public are the police and Army.

Brandishing any IPOB insignia is not against the laws of Nigeria.

IPOB never said anything about stopping the elections, what they said is that they are going to urge the people to boycott elections so that elections would not hold. Election boycott is legal.

Who welcomed the military? Did you see anyone in the South East celebrating Python dance? Is there anyone in the South East congratulating the military from coming?

Everybody knows that what happend was state sponsored terrorism.

So the evidence against Kanu is just in mere talking? Then tell your clueless president that the Nigerian Army was not created to go after people for talking, that is not their job. The Nigerian tax payer is not spending billions arming, maintaining and paying the Nigerian Army so that they can go after people for opening their mouth.

The Police can go after people for talking. So as it stands, the Nigerian Army are the ones who caused all the trouble because they left their constitutional role of defending the country against armed atracks and went to a peaceful region because someone talkef and the clash that resulted frim that illegal action resulted in violence and unnecessary deaths.

Where is the evidence that Kanu was planning to go to war with Nigeria? Is it Biafran flags he would used to rise up against the Army?

The constitution allows Kanu or IPOB the right to agitation, it gives them the right to believe in Biafra, it gives them the right to freedom of association and expression.

The only time when the Police or Army should be sent in is when there is violent or armed agitation . Did Kanu engage in violent agitation before the Army came? He did not, so what was the Army sent in for?

Operation Python dance was illegal and a form of state sponsored genocide because only a stupid government will be sending in the Army to a peaceful area to cause violence
