nateevs: I say it again and again,James does not have the fitness to play RB, unless you just want him breaking down and out of the team time and again.
It is good squad management.
nateevs: Sir, hands off Mr Maresca please. I think you all have forgotten he doesn't make general policy regarding who gets sold, bought and who gets brought back from loan.
He assesses everyone present, and decides who's good for the system, then makes decisions. He chooses Sanchez for a tactical reason, and I understand it. So he's only trying to give the dude confidence and promote team spirit.
nateevs: Me I am just learning about this Garnacho story. I see people still dey doubt the scouting and the numbers. Please bring him abeg. He will be an instant hit. This is the profile of winger that will blow in the Maresca system :. Quick, tenacious, industrious, hard presser, has an eye for goal, SHOOTS, and has beyond average decision making. Imagine what he could do playing alongside Palmer with that ridiculous pace.
Meanwhile, I predict that Garnacho will do well, make others around him better, as a kampe support cast should, numbers will go up, and then Airmark will come and claim him.
When Diggz, the UP Shesi fan, and Mr. Pashun say Ogbeni Ireti is not fit for the job, Chief Lateef Okola go claim that one is foolishly expecting elite-level tactics from a manager with just a year of experience.
Abeg, can someone explain why any manager in his right mind would leave all his right-backs on the bench while playing a center-back as a right-back? Or are we not supposed to have a minimum expectation of common-sense team management from a coach who’s managing a club like CFC again?
I’d like to see the defence that “the enemy within” is going to put up for Ireti today!
Again, point to any other rapper asides M.I. Abaga who could better SKALES' flow in 2009 and keep it classy. Remember, there was the Knighthouse crew in 2009 too.
I'd wait.
Sorry, is there anything you'd like to add or change in this post, or are you still sticking with it?
I don’t know what you mean. Can you clarify what you mean by "flow well"? Or should I assume that your definition of "flow well" is when a rapper does well in any collaboration with a singing artist?
Just imagine being unsure about which side is going to show up against a team like Ipswich tomorrow, while knowing that we’re likely not going to pick up a win against any of the teams we’re about to face at this time of the season. Omo……that’s simply unacceptable. Ireti the Terrible must go!!
I just remembered Kauna Allah was not originally sang by Jeremiah Gyang.
The song was originally sang by Sgt Plus and he featured Jeremiah Gyang on the chorus. I think Jeremiah Gyang was also the producer.
The song blew somewhat and Jeremiah Gyang recorded unauthorized versions of the song featuring Skales and MI taking advantage of Sgt Plus absence in the country due to schooling or something.
This caused Sgt Plus and Jeremiah Gyang to fall out with each other.
Interesting memories.
Ah, nice one! This really brings back a lot of memories.
semid4lyfe: To me, he was a decent rapper but make we just agree to disagree.
Talking about Skales, Lamine Yamal and Barca don carry that hin shake bodi song blow 10 years after
The song dey trend on tiktok and is doing amazingly well on streaming platforms.
Like Mike Ejeagha like Skales.
To be honest, I have nothing against the guy, although I may have come off as a hater because of my criticism. I took that hardline stance because of how the previous poster wanted to use him as a standard for quality artists.
Anyway, I'm happy for him, sha. It’s not easy to dedicate almost two decades of your life to a particular career without gaining the recognition or money you desire. I hope this will be the beginning of better things for him!
He dropped some other rap tracks but they didn't get traction and he diverted to afrobeats/street pop.
Bro… Skales was not a good or decent rapper. It’s funny you mentioned Jeremiah ft. Skales because I still listened to that song this morning, and Skales was just there—nothing special. In fact, if you erased Skales from that song, it would still be a hit because of Jeremiah’s hard work and talent, not Skales.
By the way, I’m not hating on Skales, but he’s not someone any music head should brag about. At his best, he’s not even an average artist. Las las…I respect his hustle!
rooftops: I don't understand the unnecessary classism they associate with music. The definition of music is anything pleasing to the ear, whether na reggae or na blues, so far you like it you are good to go.
Music means something different to many people. In a group, the interpretation or meaning each person gives to a particular song is likely to differ if we seek everyone's opinions or thoughts about it.
As a matter of fact, I once sat in the same vehicle with a professor who played Obesere's music throughout our journey. The annoying part is that this man doesn’t understand a single word of Yoruba, yet he was blasting Obesere of all people! My guy skipped all the King Sunny Ade and Ebenezer Obey and went straight to Obesere, whom most people from back in the day would consider “an agbero.” Las las, to each his own, abeg!
How can someone with any knowledge of music claim that CAPital F.E.M.I would rival Joe and Craig David any day? Is it the same Kenny’s Music Capital F.E.M.I again?
Then you claim in the same post that Skales used to spit bars—how? The same Mukulu Mukeke Skales, or is there a second Skales we don’t know about?
Putting Skales and bars in the same sentence is a sacrilege!
Trying to force class on yourself because you enjoy a certain kind of music is capping at its best! Especially if you’re dropping names of artists who aren’t even pioneers in the genre you enjoy—unless, of course, you’re just here to cap as usual.
Abeg, enjoy your music and let others enjoy theirs in peace!
Most teams that have played this city team know to pay them no respect. You just go there and play your game because this is the worst Pep team ever, but not ‘Ireti the Kitchen Practical.’ He’s a mediocre coach at best, lacking any ambition.
BlueMann: "Probably from outside, you receive in the wrong way the reason why Cole & Nico didn't play. It wasn't because we wanted them to play tomorrow. It was to start the game in one way & finish in another."[ @BobbyVincentFL ]
Wetin this one dey talk 😂😂😂
Omo
Ireti the terrible! Ireti the kitchen practical coach! Ireti the chronic gambler! Ireti, iyawo Chief lateef, awon set Chelsea FC founders, current owners, and season ticket holders. Ireti is even worse than I thought!
No amount of blackmail or shalayes from ‘the enemy within’ can change the fact that Ireti is not the man for the job! Ireti must go!
Emaprince: You sef na OG for here too...so you needed to tone down on it....Thats why I was particularly talking to you.
The other guy just went with the flow of things.
I dont see much of the issue that will discredit Nateevs reputation here.
He have always been one to caution people when they are complaining and having high expectations. I understand it might seem like an insult to you, because you no be a kid...but taking it too far wasnt the best.
What I did is exactly what I would have done if you were at the receiving end of the insults. We've all come of age. Make we no let small boys join dey pour sand for our eyes.
Oga, I don’t think it’s normal or okay for you to focus on the aggrieved instead of addressing the aggressor. When that slow poison called Nateevs insulted me in his first post, you didn’t see it or caution him. When he lied and dropped condescending messages, you were nowhere to be found. Continu.
I don already drop long shalaye on top this matter…so I no need to go back into details again.
Las las….I’ve made my intentions very clear. The second he steps away from football matters and starts chatting foolishly, I will descend even lower.
