It is good you decided to compare him with DD of last season bcuz it goes to show how useless the falcao deal is. I don't really get this Falcao-Torres transfer comparison.

- The Colombian isn't coming at £50m or any fee within that region.

- He isn't gonna spearhead the attack for us, he's only going to be Costa's understudy.

- There won't be a lot of pressure for him to perform. He knows he has lost form and would only be eager to stake a claim that he's still got it in him.

- Falcao's transfer isn't a winter transfer. He'd get the chance to be with the team from pre-season.

The peculiarities surrounding his transfer doesn't in anyway relate with Torres'. If anyone thinks otherwise, feel free to counter my points.

My take on this move is as simple as, get the financial and contract negotiations right and I'll welcome Falcao at the bridge.
