Viciyus: Lol no vex. It's not intentional. This is something I'vet hought about so I just regurgitated some of the main ideas I remember. The only uncommon thing there is associative hierarchy which is just a fancy word for your ability to associate things with one another. Its common amongst multitaskers and polyglots (speakers of many languages) To illustrate what I mean if I say "apple" to someone who isn't highly associative he would just think "fruit" but a highly associative fellow would think "fruit, red, computer, sweet, Steve Jobs" The other somewhat technical psychology terms aren't that uncommon. Working memory; capacity to hold items in memory. Spatial reasoning; ability to reason about positions in space. Fluid intelligence; ability to solve novel problems that typically don't rely on stale information. Crystallized intelligence, brilliance that depends on long term memory. My point is that we all have different helpings of all these features of intelligence. Different games shift the proportions in different ways that could reinforce or degrade ones original state. |

Depends on the type of game and on your psyche architecture and also depends on how far along you're in your cognitive development and it depends on your definition of smart. For example, If you're scatterbrained smart (ADHD type) you wouldn't suffer from the flattening of your associative hierarchy that fast paced FPS style games induce. It could actually benefit you. But if you're the extremely focused clear minded type with a steep associative hierarchy your attention span could suffer. There are many more examples along those lines that affect core components of one's cognitive complex; working memory, fluid intelligence, crystallized intelligence, spacial reasoning, etc. Games do shift psyche design. Whether you come out of that shift smarter would depend on so many things. So I guess the answer is it depends. 1 Like |

Education / Re: You Are A Genius If You Have The Solution To This Equation. by digitalembrace(m): 4:08pm On Apr 05, 2015 |
I don't know if someone has mentioned this already. It's basic number theory. Odd+odd=even Even+odd=odd Even+even=even Therefore Odd+odd+odd=(odd+odd)+odd=(even)+odd=odd since all the numbers are odd and 30 is even there's no solution Except you're looking for 15+15+0=30 1 Like |

seunfly: I have been preaching the same thing for ages. These folks cart our money and stash it in the Luxembourgs and Switzerlands of the world and build all sorts of investment property in foreign countries. If we can close eye and forgive the theft, as painful as it will be, and give them protections while they invest in Nigeria the country would transform overnight. 1 Like |

Back in the old days before the war. Lol. Hi5 did this to me. I should have taken a hint from the fact that she listed makeup as one of her hobbies but the advanced photoshopping hypnotized me. Coming to think of it that babe must have been an avant-garde photoshopper. Well, It was a Salvo to my rep because I was in the company of some equisite chick's I had around to inflate my levels. Lol those shallow days of yore. I didn't recognize her but I treated her like a normal person and didn't just runaway or excuse myself. |
Family / Re: Husband Wants Divorce From Wife Because Of Sexual Starvation by digitalembrace(m): 6:33pm On Apr 04, 2015 |
Krystalxxx: Yeah. To each his own. My views about sex are gender agnostic. It is African society whose values place a disproportionate burden on women. Honestly, that's the problem that needs fixing. If male and female sex lives were treated equally would you hold the same position about premarital sex? I would be happy to know your reasoning if it isn't steeped in a need to conform or, more appropriately, accrue perceived value from abstinence. Don't get me wrong.I understand your position or at least I think I do. I'm just pointing out that it is a consequence of a skewed society that places unwarranted and gender-unequal value on sex. And it seems to me you admit as much so I guess we are on the same page. What I disagree with is pretending like abstinence is the superior position and that's why you choose to avoid premarital sex. |

missclasssy: Yeah I don't see how the no sex before marriage crowd don't recognize it's a needles gamble. It must have been stated a million times before; Sex is the most intimate interaction you'll have with your spouse and you choose to stall till after marriage? I get the traditional mindset of choosing not to defile yourself but is it worth the possibility of lifelong sexual frustration? It's just like saying no arguments before marriage then after you chop wedding cake you realize your spouse is a kickboxer. The wholething is counterintuitive Mental slavery. Well to each his own. |

mcdokwe: I honestly don't understand why people hate this man so much that even the glaring good he did is denied. It beggars belief. If the roles were reversed Buhari would not have accepted defeat in good faith, he has a long history establishing that precedent and the same goes for many of our previous presidents that ostensibly believe their retention for power is worth a couple of lives. You can call him a loser or corrupt or clueless but because of his gallant acceptance of defeat there are a handful of people living and breathing today that would otherwise be in a morgue. It's a pity that petty partisanship can lead some of us to deny that heroic act of compassion and patriotism. That they can't forget the man and embrace that lone good even though their brother or sister may owe their lives to his very atypical exit is just sad. 1 Like |

chukwudi44: Chuks nwanem. Don't think like that. All the money they've been carting away since 1970 nko? Plus all the preferencial military appointments and the consequential allegiances forged with foreign military peers? By the grace of God Nigeria would never get to that point again but don't oversimplify the calculus behind that dastardly business. 1 Like |
