naijatechworld: http://lifehacker.com/dont-just-learn-to-code-learn-how-to-think-from-comput-1598683903This is the CoCo.... I have struck the center. Need to get back to applicable work. |
Accept it as a compliment ![]() |
Learn Database languages for BigData for future IT. I can't really recall them all, but I suppose they include Cordova, Cassandra, and other NoSql languages and so on... |
Rdduite: I've Intel dual core celeron dell vostro 1510 laptop, Google it dudeI understand that there are line of Celeron dual core processors, but you misquote by saying all Celerons are dual cores ![]() |
Rdduite: Intel celeron processors are all dual cores meaning two chipsets integrated into one processor for a faster processing of your system. How are Intel-Celeron processors dual core ? Could you please explain the definitive technology behind it ? |
Nsonaso: No bro it has 8GB RAM, 640GB HDD, 4 processors as in Quad-CoreThat is a durable system unit... Fit for a lot of task...Quad-core is better than Intel-Celeron and dual-core... |
Congrats boy... Ahh, going back memory lane , I remember when I represented my school along with a Ghanaian classmate... Jah bless our hustle..... |
Nsonaso: Well my Hp has Core i5 with 4 processors clocked @ 2.40GHzIt looks like a good laptop.... But which one be 4processors again.... Do you mean 4Gigg RAM ? |
Nsonaso: What about Core i3, i5 and i7Those ones na Baba na... The new generation processors by Intel.... Very fast and durable. |
Rick9: I have a new laptop with Intel Celeron Processor Inside. Pls what's is the difference between Celeron and Dual Core ?Dual core is faster and durable than Celeron because it processes 2 cache's of data..... |

Ask you to insert hard-disk keh , when the system has already booted to windows ? Well, you need to check out the drivers, perhaps update them or worse format your system.... |
Djtm: I used to think the term "Third world countries" was a derogatory term until I read about Germany generating half of their electricity form solar energy. That half being 24.3GW. So they must be generating about 59-60GW while nigeria is generating about 4000MW. Then I realized Nigeria is a fifth world country. Like dhtml said, the cost of internet is another limiting factor. How many Nigerians can sit back and watch youtube videos without sweating? A friend in malaysia told me he bought 1GB for an equivalent of 50naira. The crap telecommunication companies offer us here is BS. Wth do you want to do with 4GB?And the fact that we are blessed with abundant sunshine makes us look grossly incompetent. As programmers, we need to think a step ahead of the average citizen. |
Quite a productive write up. The Chinese have created their own clowns of these applications / software's. |
texaco1: yes I am a nigerian , accra is not as fantastic as ppl paintt it. Please visit accra and see . But kumasi and cape coast is very good. Acccra is too expensive and accomodation cost is high ,I wasted 3 years in accra before heading north Although bolga region and the north is developing but in term of cost of living tamale is better. Meat is damm too cheap and tamale is a traders joint many ibos are selling spare parts it is easier to live there although someone else may dispute this ,this is just my own opinion ,the next time I visit ghana I won't stay in accraBros eeh... One more thing : accommodation. The institute said I can get one close to them but it is shared compound house, that is public toilet, bathroom and so on. And it is cheap like 60 to 70 dollars a year. But I would prefer a one room self contain with private bathroom/toilet and kitchen : how much does it cost there and do they pay monthly, 6monthly or yearly ? |
iam_ord: about tamale.. I didn't know much about the placeI see. I read it up online. It's quite interesting. |
iam_ord: hmm. U r making necessary brainHehe, as in how |
iam_ord: irrespective of that d development is essential cos it brings in more fdi and revenue.. The problem is when the country board can't regulate prices to benifit the peopleWell, Tamale happens to be the fastest growing city in West Africa. I tend to prefer less crowded place. Sometimes, we just need to step out of comfort zones to experience the world for what it truly is. |
iam_ord: I understand your point.. My mum lived there back then but I have not been there b4.. R u nigerian? I know standard of living is high in accra takoradi and kumasi .. The govt is to blame. But I thought all northern parts of west african countries seem to be the same with underdevelopment and coWhat is the essence of the so called development, if life is difficult for majority of the masses. Do you think flaunting 'unnecessary wealth' that is not even there is tantamount to 'high standard of living'...... Abegi affordability for the common man is what makes an economy strong. |
texaco1: light is generally stable in ghana but not 100% but you will enjoy urself . Ghana internet connection is good ,u may not need ur blackberry at all in ghana .but take enough money with u.Thanks man and God bless. |
texaco1: It is very far ooo. More than 10hrs drive but don't let me scare u, u will enjoy the ride .Thanks. I will see to it.... Shey steady electricity is there huh |
texaco1: tamale is 100 times better than accra , if u stay in tamale for 1month u will hate accra with passion. Food is cheap and so also is accomodation, lots of whites people there also. And the funny thing is the landscape is flat, when I say flat I mean flat . When u get there pls post picture hereThank you for this great info. I have read about the benefits of staying or visiting Tamale and also being the fastest growing west African city fit for business. I also heard it is neat and so. No shaking, I will post pics when I get there. How many hours is it by bus from Accra ? If you have any other helpful info, kindly share. |

Naija_lastborn: this is the very first time I heard of E-bikes.. it sounds cool to me.To get a comprehensive Tech oriented view on E-bikes Go to Google, type E-bikes + Cnet in the search bar and there you go.... |
Naija_lastborn: Business Climate as in? You can PM its okay. In few days I will see what I can do about uploading on the forum. It's alright. Take your time. I will Pm. Business climate as in exportation of tech products, eg Philips seems to be at the forefront of Android TV invention, or other viable goods, both used and new. Cause they are not poetic and their minds swelled by verses where they can cite to collect more money. In fact, the songs of Solomon are often cited by Jewish Rabbi's for deep introspection on love. |
