Both are good cos am using both. I hv intel on my HP and Amd on my Dell and found noting wrong wt Amd. As regards d heatness that is peculiar wt AMD is nt noticeable to me cos i normally use my AMD lappy for longer hours wtout any problem.

There must be a particular program(software) u installed that is comflicting with your internet connection. Which ISP are u using? Coz i heard a similar problem when i changed my ISP month ago.
Just backup your files and do system formating then followed by installing your program one after the other why your testing your internet to detect that particular program.
