To be honest, I think you either have it or you don't. After all these years at top level, methinks a player like Walcott can't learn a thing like dribbling (with technique and cunning and not the push a ball and go after it type) at this stage in his development.

We should just take him (walcott) as he is. His style is quite effective against some players and in certain scenarios, like when the opposition full backs have run their hearts out.

He should not be drafted to CF in my opinion, cos there he won't get space to run and his inability to beat a man will render him completely useless. In the game against the Totts, the only shot i remember him take was in a position with his back to the post.

Time would tell if Chamberlain is the real deal but for now i still maintain Theo has been our most productive player going forward this season

As for Ramsey he has to work on his concentration and work ethic which is sub-par or else he would never be a good midfielder

Be careful what you say on these pages. Comparing Frimpong to Tiote is prepostorous. First and foremost, Tiote is a highly technical midfielder, not just an enforcer. Frimpong is just an enforcer for now. Tiote plays on the left side of a 3 man midfield for Ivory Coast with his brief as much attacking as defensive and he acquits himself better than Yaya Toure who plays RCM while Zokora holds behind them. In other words, Tiote can play CM, DM or AM if need be, with all the technical qualities to flourish in each of those roles. Frimpong vs Tiote is like comparing Sani Kaita (very effective DM despite WC red-card) to Sunday Oliseh (highly technical with a passing ability better than most AMs)

Dudu words 'Frimpomg could easily be an enforcer like Tiote'. I don't think this translates to comparing Frimpong with Tiote.

Its totally in the hands of the lads to prove all these DKsuckers wrong. A bad start for Arsenal shouldn't translate to a bad season.

As bad as our form has make us to look, we are still a better team than at least 17 teams in this league. Manure, Chelski and Shitty are the only teams either as good or better than Arsenal.

And even if we don't make that top four (though I am positive we will), it will be because of the error of trading so late in the last window. An error we wont have to suffer from in subsequent seasons.

I hope the lads get their heads to together and start producing the wins EVERYBODY knows they are capable of.

We have to give credit to who credit is due. RvP did great in that game on Sunday and looked more likely to score than any player on the pitch. I couldn't have asked for more from him. Same cannot be said of his fellow Arsenal attackers. Walcott for me should be dropped from the first team if he won't stick to the wings . He is far too inconsistent and technically deficient to play central. I know how much havoc his speed can wreck on opposition from the wings but it appears he always finds a way to move into the center where he is useless.
So far, it is only RvP who is clinical enough to play central and that for us is very dangerous cos RvP isn't expected to go injury free a whole season.
With RvP, Song, Arteta, a decent defense and a good Goalie, we are near bottom of the table.
That's big cause for alarm.

Failure to position yourself properly to cover your teammates is a mistake. Did you see how Phil Jones positioned himself when faced in a 2-on-1 situation with Leon Bennett on Saturday. The ninja placed his body between Bennet and his teammate, then as soon as Bennet decided to go on his own, Jones chased him down like a pack of Wolves and closed the shot/pass with a sliding block. Mertesacker can never do something like that. Infact just being Mertesacker is a mistake. When a defender contributes to the general jitteryness in the defence, he is a liability. Mertesack-her's feckless performance even allowed Dr Kit to come out of retirement to taunt us with his yearly eulogy of fat quadragenarian Yakubu.

Watch how Arsenal start keeping clean sheets soon as Vermaelen returns, then tell me whether khakhi and leather na the same thing. Vermaelen would keep clean sheet whether playing with Djorou, Koscielny or Mertesacker - but ask Mertesacker to keep clean sheet with Djorou or Koscielny, na wahala be that.
