U are far too kind o. Anybody that still has issues with who or how much arsenal signs players is just being a dayokanu.
AW made more than 7 signings and someone still 'can't believe' 15M is our biggest signing. The buy of the season in the whole of england last term (chikarito) cost half the amount we shelled out for Ox.
These days money has lost so much value that 15M sounds like 1.5M to some people and I blame that on chelski and man shittys.
50M pound striker that scored 1 goal in half a whole season

All this Per is slow talk is just emanating from detractors. I don't think Fagbo or Terry rely on speed to carry their defense as much as they rely on reading the game and out-muscling the speed merchants physically. What we needed the most was aerial dominance to reduce the abysmal number of goals we conceed from set-pieces.

What is certain is we will get a goal almost every 45 minutes, be it against city, manure or any team as that's Wenger's stock in trade. So winning will come down to defending well. It's perfectly alright to expect everything right now as squad has depth should be able to stand various test. I won't care about our first few results cos they all seam to come from distant leagues, but i'm sure AW will import the Arsenal DNA in them eventually.
We won't miss Cesc as much as we would have if Arteta didn't join us cos arteta is as close as it gets to Cesc IMO.

Yes, the season just started. Benayoun is really just a squad player and  I am pretty sure we wouldn't have signed him if it was certain that Arteta would pen his signature. But all looks perfect anyways.

Rosicky and Arshavin are gonna find it very hard now cos there will be no more room for mediocrity in this squad.
I say the squad is perfect. Song has no business upfront with arteta and wilshere in the squad so he can concentrate on staying back dispossessing the opposition of the ball.

Our flanks will be ever productive with Ben, Gervinho, walcott and the young lads working and Per, Verm, Sagna, Santos and Scezny is a defense adequate to win the EPL.

One thing that has been missing in recent years is that we look strong enough to cater for injuries when they come.

Its been a most surprising transfer session. I am friggin excited we got arteta, as it almost feels like a dream that we eventually brought in Ox, *Miyachi, Jerks, Per, Santos, Young, Arteta and Benayoun in ONE transfer window. That's at least 7 new signings. Beautiful!
This is a firm statement of intent to bridge the gap between Arsenal and Manure/City and I am overwhelmed by the transfer activity. I can't wait to see Arteta play for us.  
The competition in our attacking half is immense and everyone will fight real hard to get picked.

If we can make that midfield signing before the window shuts, i'll easily conclude that this year's team in an improvement over the last.

I expect Young to be a decent finisher to step in when RvP is injured,i.e improvement over Chamack

The defense is definitely better with Verm, Per and Santo as against Djourou, squllaci, Clichy.

Wilshere could get a more attacking role with frimpong and song shielding the defense and we have decent wingers in Miyaichi and Ox.

Wishere is gonna be a midfield maestro in the attacking sense this season. Watch out for him

You are gonna be surprised at our results this term. With an improved defense, there is nothing we cant achieve. Our defense is the reason why we didn't win trophies and we have made good effort at fixing that.

Apparently we are stuck with Wilshere, Rosicky, Ramsey and Diaby in attacking midfield options. I think that's all for August . Its a shame that Nas and Fab void is left unplugged.

Some will never see anything positive in Wenger's efforts. One of the things we wanted so bad was a clear-out and AW has literally done that.

Personally I would have given my left testis if it would take that to see the likes of traore, denilson, Clichy, Eboue and Fab (cos he wanted to play somewhere else) leave. Wenger has disposed of these players and some ppl are still bitter. Doesnt it give you joy to know that you won't contend with the sight of denilson 'tracking a player with ball'?

AW has signed Young, a point man figure we have been clamouring for even though not for 25M. (Osaze's 4M move didnt stop him outshining Torres, Drogba and Rooney on the scorers chart last term)
He is going to sign Metersacker, a giant who makes use of his stature well unlike that faukin barsetard named Djouru (agonizing flashs of the first goal we conceeded in that mauling haunt me daily)
signed Gervinho who is defintely going to build a mansions on the wings after killing full back landlords and Wenger hopefully will sign a midfielder today.

I think genuine supporters have reason to be hopeful as we are difinitely going to be better equipped as a squad than we were
