Good day house . I’m having my F1 visa interview on Monday Feb 4 and my school has resumed on January 28 . I was unable to get an extension letter from my school . Do you advice I go ahead with the interview or cancel the appointment .

Why are people advising him to cancel his appointment. This is bad. He can always try and been denied a visa is not the end of his Journey. He can always reapply. Since he has book an appointment then let him go for it. What works for A might not work for B. Please lets be careful with the kind of advice you give to someone. Yes he can apply to another school if he is been denied. But let him try his Luck first. I am certain he is going to get it. Lets not discourage anyone

Ok. I believe standardized test helps but in this case go for your interview and make sure you dont leave out any supporting documents that will be helpful for you as i know couple of people who were granted visa without any test. You will get it from my own perspective, dont panic. Also most important PRAY. No one here can guarantee or tell you the chances of getting a visa only the VO can. Just be positive and the result will be positive.

The FEDEX lady I met told me to call her if I don’t get details of my tracking number after 3 weeks but I don’t think I’ll wait tillafter 3 weeks because I know they can be funny and I don’t want to take any chances. I’ll suggest you call the UPS lady if you have her phone number. If she didn’t give it to you directly you can check the back of the WAEC receipt she might have written it there.

I called her today she said if WAEC has given her the document she will send me the tracking number. She said i should excercise a little patient. I hope WAEC gives it to her next week. I will let you know if it is done then.

I sent mine last week and the FEDEX lady told me the processing time is between 2-3 weeks. After 2-3 weeks WAEC will forward your result to the courier company you selected. When the courier company receives the document from WAEC, you will get a tracking number from the courier company representative you met when you applied for the result. Thereafter, you should expect that’ll be delivered to WES within 3-5 days. Please understand that the duration may vary with the different courier companies available. Expect that it’ll take at least 4weeks from the day you applied for the result before it gets to WES. From my experience with WES I think it takes about 2-3 working days before they acknowledge the receipt of any document. Have you received your tracking number form the courier company? If you have, just keep tracking online.

Thank you for your time in helping me with this info. I actually applied for the confirmation at WAEC on the 16th of January. I was told by the courier agent(UPS) that it will take 2 weeks and then i will receive my tracking number. But i haven't heard from her. I think i will wait for some weeks more. That is the only documents delaying my evaluation with scratch card which i included with the application.

When they receive it, it'll take two days for them to upload it on your account, from the day they upload that your documents have been received, it'll take five working days for the evaluation to be completed

I'm not sure he is serious about it. He must be a joker. New SAT score range from 400 to 1600 and that starts from 2016. We are in 2019. If he wrote the test before 2016 the test will no more be useful cos its more than 2years.

When did you take the SAT exam? SAT overall is 1600 prior to 2016 changes. The old SAT was 2400. Did you write the test before 2016? Why are you not organized?

New SAT range from 400 to 1600
Old SAT range from 600 to 2400.

You that applied to Harvard dont know your SAT score. How is that possible?

Good day house, I have a Master's degree in physical Chemistry, I wish to apply for another Master's degree in Chemical Engineering in the US. I have been reading on this forum that a Bsc to Bsc or an Msc to Msc doesn't always fly with the VOs. Should I apply for a PhD instead ? In which case my undergraduate GPA isnt so good (2.5/ 5.0).but my Msc GPA is 3.98/5.0 and i intend to write GRE and TOEFL. Thank you.

This is definitely easy. When you are applying for another Master, simply use BSC as your highest qualification. Make sure you have a good high score in both test scores.

Just send the WAEC. I had DOB error too on my certificate but i sent it like that and it was accepted. But you can make enquiry again at WAEC to confirm.

To correct DOB it will take about 6 to 12 months and i dont think you can wait up to that.

You can't start now for fall 2019. According to USCIS rules and regulations for F1 visa, you cannot appear for your F1 visa interview until 120 days from your program start date and you cannot enter the US till 30 days from your program start date
