Timothyphillips: Thank you very much. MUN has MENG and graduate diploma. I don’t know if I should go ahead with graduate diploma application since it’s a graduate program. I don’t need know if it belongs to the category of diplomas that VO don’t give approval for. I’ll check Humber college. |

Tlontin: Thank you. I’ll ask him to read the thread. Since fees will be on me I’m just doing my part to ensure he gets into a relatively cheap school too. |

bennyg24: Thank you. Most relevant engineering courses I saw in these universities are advanced diploma. I don’t know if it’s different from diploma (the one that visa officers hardly approve visa for) |

Hi guys, Good morning. Please I have a couple of questions. I am currently living in Canada as a PR and I intend to apply for a post graduate program for my brother. He graduated with Second Class, Lower Division (CGPA of 2.8 ) from Mechanical Engineering, but his last 2 years CGPA was 3.6 (I heard it matters). 1. Please guys I intend to apply for MEng or Graduate certificate program for him. Which one is he likely to be accepted in considering his CGPA. 2. Also, all things being equal, do people going for graduate certificate program usually get visa approval? 3. Please if you could also give me suggestions on schools that are less competitive, that he will likely be accepted into without too much hassle, I would be overjoyed. I am glad to answer any question in regards to Express Entry. Thank you so very much. |

hi guys, I am getting worried. I haven't gotten any information as to the status of my application in University of New Brunswick. Isn't it getting late, considering the visa processing time. I have already started contacting supervisors for January Admission in other schools. Please who is in the same shoes as mine and what are you doing about it? |

Good morning guys, I have applied for my second masters in Applied Heath Services Research in University of New Brunswick. I had my first masters in forensic psychology and I did my undergraduate in Psychology. The problems are: 1) I haven't heard from the univeristy as to the outcome of my application. 2) will doing a second masters raise a red fly? (I mean in terms of visa application, if I happen to get the admission by the grace of God) Note: I applied for a second masters because my first masters was just for one year, and some schools I applied for a PhD rejected me, because they didn't consider my one year masters deeply research-intensive. Why Applied Heath Services Research? You may ask. , I have been doing some voluntary work (through my NYSC CDS group) in a health related sector, so I developed interest and decided to apply for the course. Also I feel it's related to psychology somehow I mean, psychology deals with human behaviour and mental health, then health services research deals with an interdisciplinary approach to healthcare, mental health and community health. Ok I'm talking too much. |
