kerry57:ONE THING I CAN'T FORGET LISTENING TO HOPE UZODINMA CAMPAIGN IN IMO WEST IN 2011 WAS HOPE SAYING THAT SINCE HE WAS YOUNG, HE HEARD POLITICIANS FROM ORLU, INCLUDING KO MBADIWE, LAMENTING OVER THE ABSENCE OF PIPE BORNE WATER IN ORLU AREA. UZODINMA SAID, VOTE HIM AND HE MUST BRING PIPE BORNE WATER TO ORLU. NEARLY EIGHT YEARS AFTER, HOPE IN SENATE, NO PIPE BORNE WATER IN ORLU. HOPE HARDLY MOVES BEYOND HIS OMUMA HOME IN ORU EAST WHERE HE HAS FANATIC SUPPORTERS. |
EzeUche:Those Igbo for Nigeria people are most ill-informed. Were Obiano and Ekweremadu in politics in 1999 when agitation for Biafra started shortly after Fulani/Hausa/Kanuri leaders adopted Islamic Sharia Criminal Codes-: an action that gave birth to Boko Haram which also says that it is fighting for a country, perhaps Nigeria, to be governed through Islamic Sharia Criminal codes? You can't have one country of mixed religious faiths, then suddenly, one part of the country unilaterally adopts unconstitutional Sharia criminal codes, yet expects the country to remain one. Buhari govt kidnapped Nnamdi kanu, Biafra agitation escalated. What has Obiano or Ekweremadu got to do with the escalation of agitation for Biafra which resulted from massive provocation of Biafra people by Buhari govt? |
Igbo for Nigeria Movement is a movement of foolish people. it's made up of a few persons who eat crumbs from Arewa table. They could have been sponsored by the "Shophischicated" tribe in control of Nigeria since Buhari left for London. |
The girl and her parents believed Alhaji at just first meet because Nigeria has been a country literally owned by Alhajis. Is it not as good as waiting to eat Alhaji shiiit for an easterner not to struggle to say bye to Nigeria through any possible new country carved out from Nigeria? This is a hell hole of a country. |
Guestlander:see how smell of cheap cash fro crude oil has turned this one to quack lawyer |
Abagworo:But that didn't justify Gov. Okorocha issuing a public statement rejecting the job on behalf of her adult, and above all, married daughter. |
Jesusloveyou:If Gov. Rochas Okorocha and his in-law, Prof. Anwuka, the second Minister for Education, want to be very useful to Imo state, let them persuade President Buhari to accept Eastern Palm University, Ogboko, as a federal University for the tens of thousands of qualified Imo state applicants for university education who for now, have no chances of placement in any university. If they do this, Wallahi, Imolites shall be willing to contribute levies to help build a Rochas Foundation University immediately. |
jumobi1:Ask again. ![]() Imo people were misled by previous governor, Ikedi Ohakim's ineptitude. |
Afam4eva:Lol, that's an Igbo man in APC for you. Sometimes, one wonders if all is well with this governor Okorocha. |
waledeji:NgeneUkwenu ? Hmmm. Some people live in this world for only their stomach and pockets - never think of the future of their offspring. Who didn't know what Boko-Haram has been all about? NgeneUkwenu must know. Now that an "infidel" VP is in charge, and may even succeed Baba, Boko-Haram has started grinding human beings like okoro again. |
Since 2012, Rochas Okorocha started to undermine the Imo state University Teaching Hospital Orlu which former govts and private organisations spent billions of Naira to establish. A few people, including students, cried out. But some very narrow-minded persons in another secrion of Imo state pretended that the teaching hospital was established for the indigenes of the place it was located. Now the teaching hospital is as good as finished, reduced by Rochas Okorocha to a school of nursing. The general hospitals which Rochas started to build in order to undermine the teaching hospital, the general hospitals can't function. For now, everybody has to wait till 2019 for the pestilence on Imo state to go, so that a new government shall return normalcy. |
Lool. Rochas whose only political strategy is that by building things where they can be easily seen in the state capital, that would make him qualify for president of Nigeria. He even decorates top of the streets in the state capital with shiny metals, outside the state capital, the unkept roads make one speechless. |
IhateAfonjas:Proudly Igbo. We see far ahead. Under Buhari and Ngige government, even garri to drink is hard for Nigerians. The day Buhari said that he would make N1= $1 if we gave him our votes, Igbos wrote Buhari's campaign off. |
Afam4eva:Knowing that a man from Igboland said that politics is business makes me feel like vomiting. If politics is business, Dangote Aliko would buy all, with Ngige no where near the corridors of power. |
I used to think that this Ngige was well educated, because he studied medicine. Now I know that he is a mere empty vessel. Little wonder as governor of Anambra state, an ordinary citizen organised his abduction from govt house. |
Wow. Nigeria what a divided country going by the comments on this thread: One group, my Muslim bros of One Nigeria for Obama. Another group, my Christian bros of Biaf.., for Trump. |
Abagworo:Owerri C...IIII...TTTT...YYYYY governor. No one to tell this gov that his Owerri City shall be overcrowded, beaten down with social vices, by the time even 1/4 of Imo state moves down to settle in his Owerri City. |
mexxmoney:If you have a lot of learned people in Nigeria how did Buhari of all persons become president of Nigeria? Don't blame Ahmad of email accounts achievement, blame Nigeria's political class from the south who cannot yet revolt against the skewed political structure of Nigeria created by northern soldiers; a rigged political structure which can enable a cow from Northern Nigeria win a Barack Obama or Bill Clinton or Ben Bruce from the south of Nigeria in the country's presidential election. |
Mouthgag:He he hei. See apologist to crude oil. When will you understand that crude oil is not all there is for a country to survive on? |
Witch-hunt Regime only - instead of looking for ways to grow wealth for Nigerians. |
Chiaka:Self Determination? But the SW and Northern Nigeria groups clutch tightly to a sinking boat because the boat has crude oil on board. |
lilytender:The worst of the looters are living in Nigeria in Hilltop Mansions and on Banana Island and Abuja. Abacha was not corrupt - Buhari. This confused and also corrupt government merely wants to spend more money hiring foreigners to hunt down political foes abroad. |
School of Health, Okporo, Orlu. Make e no be say Okorocha who established the school has also liquidated the school, as he has done to the nearby university teaching hospital. Pass by the school of health 24/7, there is no sign that any school is there. Okorocha is not in love with the name Orlu. |
kayzat:Yoruba Muslims always ally with northern Nigeria Muslims. Continue to live in denial. |
Alariwo2:.... but clutching tightly to a sinking boat that contains oil, instead of making escape bids from the boat, that's Yoruba sophisticated. |
Because Nigeria is a cursed country after the political restructuring done to Nigeria by soldiers loyal to Hausa/Fulani who control the entire northern Nigeria By proliferating 20 new federal units in one northern region, and supervise a constitution that a presidential candidate needs 25% of votes from 24 of the 36 states to win Nigeria's presidential election, even a cow from Northern Nigeria shall win a Bill Clinton or Barack Obama from Southern Nigeria in Nigeria's presidential election. |
....and some foolish Igbos still decamp to APC. |
If Tinubu changes stand from political restructuring to no political restructuring of Nigeria, and vice versa, Yoruba throw party. Tinubu politics of neither here nor there is sign of Yoruba Sophisticated. |
tutudesz:Fake journalist, or no fake journalist, it is obvious Nigeria has since failed to work for Nigerians If properly examined, papering over the most disjointed country in the world, Nigeria, is not to any Nigerian's interest. Dissolve the unholy union now. If the oil-rich SS region wants to remain with SW and North in a new Nigeria, let them. It's no point delaying or even denying referendum on Biafra because of fear that people from SS region may also vote YES for Biafra. Before it is too late and mayhem of unparalleled proportions follows again, let the Biafrans go, even with Igbo-only Biafra. Who would not hear these warnings now? Crude oil is not all there is for a country to survive. |

ipobsarefools:So you now agree that FFK is a great Yoruba? Abi? Na small small; soon, all of you shall fully understand with FFk that one Nigeria is a stumbling block to development and unity in Yorubaland, same way Biafrans saw long ago that One Nigeria is a stumbling block to development in Biafra land. |
vayne:Fear monger. Biafra can have no business the S. Sudanese style. |
