A friend of mine recommended district 9.
I got to the cinemas today to go see it but it has already been banned.

I asked why and the attendant said. .'the management decided to stop showing the movie because it insulted Nigeria and Nigerians.

I mean??

Thinkin bout it. Twould actually be necessary cos the last book has alot of stuff in it. With all the horcruxes stuff.

Ahn ahn. Lol. That 'spoiler' did not actually ruin the movie. It was just me looking for fireworks. and I was thinkin Dumbledore's death would be the best scene to gimme that.

Maybe the director jus wanted Dumbledore's death very quiet and sobre so he went for that. Cos he showed off alot in terms of fireworks.
The scene where the Death Eaters blew up the burrow was nice. And the scene where Draco and Harry fought.

Just watch the movie. Its really nice.

No doubt this is the best Harry Potter movie of the whole lot so far.
The relevance to the plot and story is what makes it different from the others.

Nice acting. Obviously,they've all grown through the series. They know each other well now and act better around themselves.

I have read the book and seen the movie. I can confidently say that it is the closest to the book. Followed by Prisoner of Azkaban.

But a little snag though. I was expecting more action at the end. The way Dumbledore died was kinda too 'simple'. More shoulda happened.
Snape pronounced the killing curse and Dumbledore jus fell in slow motion. I was expecting more fire stuff. .
But anyways, nice stuff sha.

I'll rate the movie a whooping 90%.

And nice thread this is,by the way. The movie club is nice.
I'll be here more often now.

I prefered the TV Series. .

The reason i got angry was the way she talked about the guy. It was different from the others.
When she was talking, i kept quiet because i didnt want to sound unreasonable. .and ofcourse jealous.

Now she's angry. I dont want to call her. I want her to call me. And she hasnt. Calling her would mean i'm admitting missng her and that i was wrong being jealous. although i really miss her.

I started dating my girlfriend in March and its really been nice. We've been friends for a year but we officially got off to dating March this year.
I'm a very free guy and I dont like taking life too seriously. and my girl knows me for that.

Everyday when we talk, she tells me about all the guys that hit on her at work, where she eats, @ the salon. Everywhere she goes at least 2 guys must try to ask her out. Her toll is like 6 to 8 guys everyday. we always laugh at the guys together especially those with very poor pick up lines cos she told me there was nothing to worry about.

Earlier this week, she told me about a particular guy she met like 3 years ago. She's known him before we met. although they've not met in person. She told me the guy just got back from singapore where he went to do his masters. He then asked to meet her. She asked me if she should meet him. And i said OK.

She met the guy @ her office restaurant today. She then called me after the meeting and was talking about the guy. She was so excited talkin about this guy. It wasnt like when she was talking about the others. she sounded pretty excited.
When i noticed her excitement, I kept quiet. She noticed my silence and she asked why and i didnt talk.
She then asked, 'dont tell me you are jealous'. . And i was like ' why shouldnt i be'? She got all angry and all. i got angry too. I asked her if she's going to see him again . she said she does not know. I got quite angry,
She has not spoken to me since then. That was this afternoon. Its really bugging me because we talk almost all the time. 2 hours without us talking is too much. Its almost 8 hours now.

Was i wrong to be jealous? Am i over reacting?

Terminator Salvation for me was a let-down. It was just all about the graphics. . .nothing added.
The biggest issue is the story. I wasnt particularly impressed. I think more attention was placed on the graphics and the issues about having a very wonderful story was relegated.

Bale did well, no doubt. He doesnt have a choice actually, lol.

But with the way technology has greatly advanced in graphics, i wonder how that happened.

I'll rate the movie 60%. Shoulda been 55% but the graphics made up for the 5%, lol.

I suggest we review Terminator Salvation, Itching to have a go at the movie.

I agree with you, Justkunmi. Good movie, Bad adaptation.
Anyways, maybe the directors were tryin to reduce the impact on the church by hiding some details.

I enjoyed the movie sha.

You just said my mind. I read the book just because the movie was to be released. The book was sooo good i knew the movie had no choice but to be very good.

All the changes you mentioned are very true. And the most annoying like you said was the pope issue. Why did they change that big a detail? Baggio died in the book but was saved in the movie, then became pope, Not nice for dose who read the book.

Many other things were changed. Like
1. Vittoria was kidnapped in the book but wasnt in the movie.
2. she and langdon met @ Cern but they met in Rome and got ther individually.
3. We never saw Vittoria's father and the illuminatti brand.
4. Langdon and the camalengo got into the helicopter together to destroy the antimatter in the book, but d priest did it alone in the movie,
5. No gunther glick, the news reporter that found out bout the dead cardinals in the book.
6. No fight between langdon and the assassin @ the fountain where the last cardinal was to be killed,

Alot of changes, negative effects.
I rate the movie 50%.
Was expecting alot more.

there was a particular day she gave me some money to help her send to her mum who needed it urgently. . .sincerely i forgot to send it and i when i told her i forgot and said i was sorry, she didnt get angry at all. she didnt even raise her voice or sound dissappointed. she just said OK and that was the end of it.

Twas the best harry potter movie ever made. the book-movie relationship was the best ever,. .
as in, i was totally feelin it.

twas really nice, especially to a potter freak like me. .
